“We finally returned to The Snug since before COVID restrictions. We loved the Irish music and oldies bands. We arrived before the music this evening and were lucky to be seated immediately. It is usually crowded and noisy. Our server was personable and got our drinks and food quickly. The Snug is, as the name suggests, a snug Irish pub filled with Irish memorabilia. The Smithwicks had a plump foamy head and is lighter than Guinness. My SO's sangria had a hint of peach schnapps flavor. The Greek salad was more than enough for two. The fried haddock sandwich was so big I thought it was the fish dinner. The fish was flaky with a crunchy exterior and the roll was soft and delicious. I had it served with vegetables; the carrots and green beans were tasty but the broccoli was cold. The appetizing chicken salad sandwich was a bit different; shredded chicken and craisins were on a hot dog bun and the mayo was on the side. We will return to The Snug soon to enjoy the music, food and drinks.“
“went there for an early Easter dinner. did not have a reservation but they accommodated us very nicely. i had the cafe bolognese and the only complaint i have was no room for dessert. the food was superb! and the staff was excellent!highly recommend trying out if your in the area.“
“Our bartender and waitresses kept the drinks and food coming....I asked my bartender for a "surprise" beverage, seeing that I was indecisive to what spirits my pallet wanted to entertain this evening.Soon, my bartender came back with a Moscow mule - the first one definitely took the edge off, the second one, well.....let's say I felt like I was ready to compete in any salsa ??dance competition after taking an hours worth of their newly promoted salsa class. The food and the appetizer were filling, so my friend and I were happy to work off those calories by joining the establishments' very first ever salsa class. We were very excited to be a part of this feature event and hope they will permanently add salsa classes to the mix!“
“Food-I had breakfast - the best home fries I ever had in my life. Instead of rye bread , I had their corn bread- it was absolutely delicious, ( mine you I hate corn bread) The coffee was delicious, my eggs over easy made to perfection , challah French toast - again the best I ever eaten. Bacon nice and crispy. ( I hate bacon that isn't cook all the way through). This is by far the Best Breakfast Place I ever been too, bar none. The service : our waitress was absolutely wonderful. Morgan is a very professional, pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the cuisine. She recommended peppermint, hot chocolate drink that was amazing . Ambiance - a wonder place to visit with friend and family. It was like being at home. A safe place for children and old age like . Great family atmosphere. Parking was available in front of the restaurant. I highly recommend the Stars On Hingham Harbor. A must stop if you are ever in Hull Massachusetts. First time here and I promise it won't be my last . . I understand now why it is call the Star on Hingham Harbor. The food , the service , ambiance are stellar. Sincerely, Carlos M.
