“We were in the area today (1/13/24) and found this restaurant online. The atmosphere was a flashback to the diners of old, which we loved. The food was good as well. What really impressed us was the server. This young lady was the best server we have had in many years.“

Delicious infused vodka and some "unusual suspects" for beers. Food and drinks came quickly and food was steaming hot. Would definitely come again. There are many cities providing live catches to local buyers in Eastern MA. Capt. Everything is wonderfully seasoned and carefully prepared. when we lived locally we got takeout from Lilac House at least once a month. we now live in New Hampshire and I make special trips to Millis just to get egg rolls, crab Rangoon, mooshi, fried rice, and ginger chicken with string beans. “A lovely place for lunch or dinner, beautifully decorated with a smooth, relaxed vibe. The staff were attentive and welcoming and the food was amazing! I ordered the tuna tartare and it was amazing. Sliced tuna pieces were surrounded by cucumbers, an avocado cream sauce and a delicious spicy sauce, very much like a spicy mayo, served with wontons. I would recommend this to anyone who appreciated sushi, especially. My friend had a cheeseburger, which was made from perfection, medium rare. This place must be experienced.“

“Went to Burtons Bar & Grill in Framingham for dinner tonight. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed!! Our waiter, Gustavo, was excellent and very knowledgeable about celiac. I felt 100% safe. I ordered the Orchard Sangria which was like fall in a cup!! We split the Point Judith Calamari which we both enjoyed (even my non-celiac husband said he couldn’t tell it was GF). For my meal I got the Mediterranean Chicken Risotto. It was DELICIOUS! One of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time! We will definitely be back, even though it’s a 40+ minute ride, it’s worth it!“

“Really glad we found this place! Their food is very tasty! Their pricing is excellent compared to other places. Though they don’t have the crispy chicken pad thai, their regular pad thai hits the spot! It’s not too dry or greasy! We also love the triangle puffs! It’s our to go thai food now around the area!“

“A complete dissapointment. Was served burned rice, when asked to have it replaced was served undercooked, mostly white and still partially burned rice (see picture of second attempt). Order #2, beef lo mein, had almost no beef. Order #3, beef brocolli (take home) rice was undercooked. All three dishes laked flavor. Been there before and the quality has deteriorated greatly.“

The tartar sauce is absolutely outstanding. Service was friendly, very much a family and welcoming atmosphere. “Found my new breakfast place! First time ever trying it and it's a hidden gem for sure. Breakfast was excellent!!?I'm a tough critic when it comes to home fries, which at most places are bland. “Yesterday I celebrated my birthday in Los Cabos, I want to emphasize that everything went well, however there are small details that could be improved to provide a 5-star service.I made the reservation for 11 people a week in advance, despite this, when we arrived we had to wait a couple of minutes to prepare the table. The waiter took our drink order but forgot to give us the glasses of water, which took about 15 minutes.One of my friends brought a cake and although it is true that I eat slowly, the waiter arrived with the cake when I had not finished dinner yet and I had to let them take my plate.As is common in restaurants to offer a candle for the cake, my friend didn't bring one but the restaurant didn't have a candle either, so singing the birthday didn't make much sense.Finally and as a recommendation, I think it would be a better experience if you wear a mariachi hat for the birthday child or do something more fun when singing.For all these reasons, I rated my experience as 4 stars since the food was delicious, it's a shame I didn't finish my dinner.“

“Expertly prepared seafood! Grilled foods are cooked to perfection always! Outstanding pizza varieties. Salads are always freshly bedded with crispy lettuce with premium ingredients atop! Subs are excellent, and the pasta dinners could potentially feed two. The entire menu is a gastronomical dream come true for this type of fare! I can wholeheartedly recommend the fried haddock with extra crispy fries or the grilled steak and chicken combo with crispy fries plus a side of their tasty rice! Prices can be a little more than pre-covid days but honestly, for the quality of the food and the speed of service I have no problem paying a little more, besides, we get to support a local business and that I believe is important during these trying times! “I've picked up food here twice for my wife. The proportions blew me away for takeout. Great tasting food, positive and friendly faces at the door. I love the joke that happens when I walk in to pay for the order, haha. I'm almost certain the dining in is 100x better than takeout. “Seasonal restaurant that has good fried seafood, especially the shrimp, scallops and fish. Lobster rolls (hot with butter or cold with a little mayo), and crab rolls that are delicious! Delicious chowders, especially the seafood chowder that has lobster, shrimp, fish, clam and is soooo good! They have daily lunch specials and food for the non seafood loving population. Awesome chili cheese dogs! Huge ice cream selection. Classic drinks like a raspberry lime rickey or root beer floats. Restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly. You can pay with a card but bring cash to tip. Those behind the counter work hard. Especially the ice cream scooping, multitasking, order taking and grabbing counter staff. Kitchen has always been consistent for the years I've been going. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend!“

“It's just a nice little seafood place in the area. Was in town for an event at the local Marriott, and it took me a while to find this place, as their listing is not very clear on Yelp. It's much better on other platforms. We had nine of us, and we ordered most of the items on the menu. Great all-around seafood options. I went with the grilled captains seafood platter, shrimp, scallops, and Haddock. some of the others went with lobster rolls and others with fish dishes. I started with the Calamari, which was just perfectly fried. Clam strips and an order crab rangoon. nicely fried in a fresh oil and not really loving the crab Rangoon.Then, an order of clam chowder. Needed something. It could have used a little more flavor and more clams. Our wait staff was excellent! made sure we had everything our large party needed and a full restaurant.“

“Bamboo Express has now ownership and is one of my go to's for local Chinese food. The young lady behind the counter is very friendly as she is usually multitasking. They do a lot of takeout and delivery. Some of their food is phenomenal like the Egg Foo Young, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef and Mushrooms. Their appetizers are pretty solid. Egg Rolls are the cabbage type. I'm more of an old school celery based type. Hot and Sour Soup has nice flavor but sometimes I need to add a little heat. Overall it is a solid takeout restaurant. I have not dined in since the new management. I do recommend!“

“Absolutely fantastic service, food and atmosphere. My wife and I went last night to watch the UNC game and sat at the bar. Tara and Marshall by far made this experience unforgettable. Their attention to detail and overall pride in what they do is something you won’t find at most restaurants let alone any type of business in this day and age. “Giving 5 stars for the excellent service I received!! My experiences are from both Dine-In and Take-Out. I've noticed it has only been Al and the same bartender & food runner/busser working; or at least the times I've come in. As someone who has worked in the food industry, I believe they all handle a busy rush pretty well. The food gets sent out quickly, and it comes hot! The last thing I want to think about while hungry at a restaurant is how long the food is going to take, but never do I have to worry about it here. My favorite dish is the Fruit Shrimp (their version of coconut or honey walnut shrimp). Hot & sour soup tasted as it should. I asked for scallions on the side to pair with it. I wish the Crab Rangoons had less cream cheese, with more onions/scallions--I think the ratio would be perfect after! I had extra scallions on the side from the soup, so I ate it with the Crab Rangoons. Still good. Staff were very on top of getting the check in & out, as well as bussing the table. Awesome job China Rose!“
