“Had lunch with family here. Heard the fish and chips were good. Brother and SIL order it and raved about it. Looked good. I had a chopped salad with a scoop of chicken salad on top. It was OK. Service was quick and friendly. Decor was typical diner. They serve breakfast all day which is good. Only take cash, but have an ATM inside.Parking: In a strip mall. Plenty of parking.“
“Found my new breakfast place! First time ever trying it and it's a hidden gem for sure. Breakfast was excellent!!?I'm a tough critic when it comes to home fries, which at most places are bland. These were so flavorful!! And the bacon was perfectly thin and crispy. Corned beef (not pictured) was so good!! Everything just right!!Parking: Plenty of parking“
“One of our favorite hidden gems. The food, service, and people are all amazing. The only thing we wish we could have as an improvement was a location closer to our home. Whenever we are in the area, we try to visit and are never disappointed. Whether it's the specials, lobster bisque, or the Portuguese Steak, you honestly cannot go wrong. If I could give Lucky Dog 10 stars, I would!“
“The charm of past. The service and friendly atmosphere of the past and the best steak tips to prepare at home or deli sandwiches aroundIf you are tired, frustrated or nostalgic for the past this will warm your heart. If your having a BBQ gathering, grab their steak tips and be the admired chef. I a certain the other meats are also great and I go there often enough to think of trying something else but even I, as bad as a cook I am cannot make those tips taste bad .“
“Thought the waiter was top notch, we had 14 people in our party, a few provided feedback on what they ordered. The fish tacos were underwhelming, lacked flavor as did the chicken Marcello which was very bland. The fish and chips were a big surprise, large portion of fish, rather than the typical large portion of fries! My seafood with angle hair pasta was good, but a bit too much oil, and scollops were slightly over cooked, but I would order it again.“
“Great food, great value. The Cod Bruschetta and the New England Cod are outstanding! The Cod is fresh, the green beans are crisp and the mashed potatoes are pure comfort food. Everyone who has joined us at Black has really enjoyed the food, especially the sweet potato fries. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.“
“Absolutely obsessed with this place. I will not go anywhere else for Mexican food. Always great service, phenomenal food. Amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend. If you've never been you HAVE to go and try the food and drinks! Even there breakfast is amazing.“
“The food is always great! Very casual, busy restaurant and bar. The staff are always friendly. They have an amazing seafood chowder. Their fried seafood or prime rib are my favorites from them. They often have great specials including smelts! Highly recommend checking them out!“
“We have dined here many times, but hadn't been in a while. We made a reservation and requested to sit in the bar area. We were so happy as the table was reserved when we got there. The food, drinks, and our server were all excellent. I have never had a bad meal here or walked away thinking we should have gone elsewhere. We will be back soon.“
“Stopped in on a road trip and we're so impressed!! I really enjoyed our meal and the wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Here's what we got:- Shrimp Fresh Roll: bigger than I expected and had avocado in it too which I hadn't seen before but was such a great addition! The sauce was like a Peking duck sauce and was great. 5/5- Chicken Satay: SO juicy!! I loved this -- it came with 4 large pieces and two sauces: peanut and veggie/vinegar. 5/5- Papaya Salad: I don't love papaya salad, but my partner likes it and thought it was just okay. But it was a large portion for the price! 3/5- Short Rib Khao Soi: delish! I love Khao soi and loved how they give you the option to add crispy toppings and chili oil. The short rib itself was fall off the bone! 5/5If we lived closer we'd be back soon!!“
“Great food at fair prices. I love the egg rolls, wings, the house specials dishes, many of the great noodle dishes from lo mein to chow foon noodles to Japanese noodles. I especially love the tofu and eggplant dishes! Great food if you know what to order. Hi Jerry!“
“Small but mighty. Unassuming little spot that serves fresh, delicious food. Service was great with our large group. The guacamole was the best I have ever had in a restaurant that wasn't in California or Texas. Margaritas are large and strong!“
“The food is delicious and they have a great person that works there. The food is good to the owner. I would highly recommend you if you can have some gluten-free or lactose intolerant items for those who need that like some kind of lactose, ice cream or sherbet and the ambience is always clean. I have to give that one more group, 100 out of 100 stars keep up the good work and to the owner. Definitely try to have two windows open one for food and one for ice cream. It'll make it much easier for those who are looking for the food and who don't have to be standing behind the ones for the ice cream. So they are still using one window for both ice cream and food they really need to have two windows because I came today and did not use two windows,“
“Yesterday I celebrated my birthday in Los Cabos, I want to emphasize that everything went well, however there are small details that could be improved to provide a 5-star service.I made the reservation for 11 people a week in advance, despite this, when we arrived we had to wait a couple of minutes to prepare the table. The waiter took our drink order but forgot to give us the glasses of water, which took about 15 minutes. One of my friends brought a cake and although it is true that I eat slowly, the waiter arrived with the cake when I had not finished dinner yet and I had to let them take my plate. As is common in restaurants to offer a candle for the cake, my friend didn't bring one but the restaurant didn't have a candle either, so singing the birthday didn't make much sense. Finally and as a recommendation, I think it would be a better experience if you wear a mariachi hat for the birthday child or do something more fun when singing. For all these reasons, I rated my experience as 4 stars since the food was delicious, it's a shame I didn't finish my dinner.“
“Expertly prepared seafood! Grilled foods are cooked to perfection always! Outstanding pizza varieties. Salads are always freshly bedded with crispy lettuce with premium ingredients atop! Subs are excellent, and the pasta dinners could potentially feed two. The entire menu is a gastronomical dream come true for this type of fare! I can wholeheartedly recommend the fried haddock with extra crispy fries or the grilled steak and chicken combo with crispy fries plus a side of their tasty rice! Prices can be a little more than pre-covid days but honestly, for the quality of the food and the speed of service I have no problem paying a little more, besides, we get to support a local business and that I believe is important during these trying times! Cheers to you!“
“Typical Chinese American fare. Decent portions. Clean restaurant. My only complaint is that the Crab Rangoon is on the sweet side, and I prefer them more savory. Since that's a personal preference, though, I don't think it fair to take points off for it.“
“Authentic Mexican food in the middle of fast food central.Delicious flavors and an extensive variety. Good drinks and a impressive selection of tequila. Best chip combo I've had in a very long time.Fast attentive service and a great vibe. A cultural oasis in gringo-land. Extremely welcoming and genuine service with a smile. Great prices on top of it all! It's not upscale fine dining but it is a legit cantina experience. Well worth a return trip.“
“We ordered their 16 oz prime rib to go. It was cooked medium rare as promised and the meat was tender. We also got the sauté spinach which was excellent. The only reason this was not 5 stars was that we felt it could use more seasoning. All in all worth the money.Parking: Handicap parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: Separate side handicap accessible.“
“I have been going here since I was a little girl. After about a ten year gap due to moving we came back near home and George’s was one of my first stops last summer. My husband and I faithfully drive one hour weekly to get a lobster roll and some clam cakes and strips. This place does not disappoint and I am counting down the weeks until they reopen in March.“
“First time dining at this restaurant. We met another couple being a place that was half way between us. My wife and I had traditional Italian comfort food. The other couple had some fish dishes. Their dishes looked amazing and interesting presentations. My wife's very much enjoyed her eggplant rollatini and my Italian combo plate was very much as expected. Our friends had salmon primavera, and haddock & shrimp Francese. Although we enjoyed our meals, we envied our friends. All our meals included a salad and pasta. The service was very good. Plenty of easy parking. Right off the highway. Prices were attractive. I give this restaurant a solid four stars. In the lounge, there is a fireplace with evidence of a recent real wood fire. Overall, I enjoyed our night out at Gia Ristorante Italiano, and will be back soon.“
“Reasonable prices. Great selection/large menu. Delicious food. Attentive, friendly, accommodating, staff despite the fact that they are short staffed. Might be a good place to work if you are looking for a job. Was certainly a good place for dinner! Our first time there, but not our last.“
“We were in the area today (1/13/24) and found this restaurant online. The atmosphere was a flashback to the diners of old, which we loved. The food was good as well. What really impressed us was the server. This young lady was the best server we have had in many years.“
“I've picked up food here twice for my wife. The proportions blew me away for takeout. Great tasting food, positive and friendly faces at the door. I love the joke that happens when I walk in to pay for the order, haha. I'm almost certain the dining in is 100x better than takeout. One of these days, we will find out. 10/10 recommend.Kid-friendliness: Family establishment, plenty of space, and the littles would enjoy it, hopefully (:Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there are no steps to get in. It has a covered ramped walkway.“
“The first time I went to visit the Redwood was the early 80s; it's now known as George's Surf and Turf. I had never had an eastern fried whole clam and scallop basket before. Now it's all I can think about, I have not found anywhere in the United States, Europe or Mexico that can compare itself to the Redwood, George's Surf and Turf.I have since settled in Texas but I want to go back to Mendon's Redwood, George's Surf and Turf just for a Combination calm and scallop basket and lots of their tarter sauce... no fries, although tasty is not my interest.I might just go back next summer, 2024.To bad Redwood, George's Surf and Turf doesn't ship to Texas.Parking: Great parking, if anyone complains it is because they're too bitter and want to share it with strangers.“
“Seasonal restaurant that has good fried seafood, especially the shrimp, scallops and fish. Lobster rolls (hot with butter or cold with a little mayo), and crab rolls that are delicious! Delicious chowders, especially the seafood chowder that has lobster, shrimp, fish, clam and is soooo good! They have daily lunch specials and food for the non seafood loving population. Awesome chili cheese dogs! Huge ice cream selection. Classic drinks like a raspberry lime rickey or root beer floats. Restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly. You can pay with a card but bring cash to tip. Those behind the counter work hard. Especially the ice cream scooping, multitasking, order taking and grabbing counter staff. Kitchen has always been consistent for the years I've been going. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend!“
“They are all so nice and friendly. The food is usually fresh, but every once in a while we get something that we can tell had been sitting. We love the tempura and the sauteed vegetables. We usually get the platter, the pork rice, chow mein, and veggie low mein. The best part is they deliver so you don't have to deal with door dashVegetarian options: Veggie options are great. A lot more options than other places in the area.“
“Bamboo Express has now ownership and is one of my go to's for local Chinese food. The young lady behind the counter is very friendly as she is usually multitasking. They do a lot of takeout and delivery. Some of their food is phenomenal like the Egg Foo Young, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef and Mushrooms. Their appetizers are pretty solid. Egg Rolls are the cabbage type. I'm more of an old school celery based type. Hot and Sour Soup has nice flavor but sometimes I need to add a little heat. Overall it is a solid takeout restaurant. I have not dined in since the new management. I do recommend!“
“I was looking all around online for the best fish and chips in Rhode Island and all signs pointed to Ye Olde English Fish and Chips. Boy I have to say I didn't know what to expect, but it blew me out of the water. You can tell it's been around forever and it's a true "if you know, you know" kind of place. The batter is unbelievably crunchy yet fluffy. The fish was great. Great portion for pick up and it's all wrapped in paper. I'll definitely come back here and I suggest to everyone to do the same!“
“Delicious food! So many good choices it was hard to decide. "Fire and Ice" with chicken, shrimp carbonara, chicken calabria were all yummy. Delicious infused vodka and some "unusual suspects" for beers. Food and drinks came quickly and food was steaming hot. Would definitely come again. Right off the highway so great place to try if you're passing through.“
