Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. We have lived and travelled in many places around the world but rarely have we experienced an owner with such a wonderful attitude and such a welcome. The guests raved about all the food: croissants, scones (beyond belief!), cinnamon rolls, quiche, salad, cookies, cold brew... Sandpiper scored a bunch of new customers today. “Was away in Ipswich for the weekend with my sisters, and we were craving breakfast sandwiches before the beach. I came across this place on yelp and saw how close it was so thought it would be a great pick. I was right! A cute local coffee shop serving up fresh food. I went with a sausage, egg and cheese on an onion bagel. This sandy hit! The cheese was oozing and the sausage itself was delicious. Loved my sandwich! I also ordered an everything bagel toasted with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese. Generous amount of cheese cream, which I appreciate! The price point was amazing without sacrificing quality! Would definitely come back when I am in the area.”

“First time trying Otto Pizza, and we were blown away! We both grew up in NY and lived in CT for 30 years, so we’re very particular about pizza, and have tried many places in the area. Some are very good, but Otto’s is spectacular.
Thin crust, delicious flavors — we had the 4-cheese white pizza with spinach, and the meatball & ricotta red pizza. Both were absolutely delicious.
We will be back….again and again!!”
