“Food was phenomenal! Super spicy and deep flavor. The portions were generous. My favorite Sichuan dish is shui zhu yu and they had it. It’s listed as fish and vegetables in chili broth on the menu. I was not disappointed and I wish I lived in town so I could get it more often.My husband got the chili squid and he asked for it extra spicy. They accommodated but made sure to keep the balance of the flavors. It was so well cooked and the squid was buttery tender. My husband was super happy with it.My friend got the shredded chicken dish and it was love at first bite. The chicken was crispy outside but super tender and moist on the inside. Had a nice spicy kick.One thing that should be noted is that rice isn’t included in the entrees. They charge $2.50. Normally this would upset me because rice is such an essential part of the meal, but the food was so good, I don’t even care lol. 10/10 would recommend.”

“I stumbled on this place while doing an event at mill no.5 and was so delighted with everything about it! I thought it was a spanish speaking restaurant from a distance, which made me feel confident enough to go in and order, but the workers and customers spoke portuguese haha! despite the two of us having a language barrier, the server made sure I knew what I was ordering and was very patient. the restaurant was cozy and the presentation of the food was so beautiful! I almost ordered the fish but I wanted something new and ordered the chicken gizzard dish. and guys, oh my god, it was AMAZING!!!!!! I do not have words for how good this was lol! Included was also a heaping pile of perfectly cooked rice (which makes all the difference) and a sausage side dish. I ate it slowly through the entirety of the event at mill no. 5 and still have leftovers in my fridge!! such a great deal for the price. Next time I think I'll bring my brazilian in-law and order some dessert lol”

“My sister ordered just a simple French toast with bananas. I got the Greek Benedict, it was my first time having eggs Benedict The sauce had a rich taste, it was neutral for me. Wasn't bad but wasn't the greatest, just not used to it. The service was friendly and good. Would return to try other items on the menu.”

“The egg rolls are so delicious and addicting (I've tried crab rangoon and spinach fillings). They have great vegetarian options too. The boba tea is also really good (I recommend the green tea one) but can tend to be on the sweeter side (you can adjust sweetness). The staff is very friendly. The location itself is quite small so I tend to take the food elsewhere or eat there then head out. I would not recommend their tofu bento because it was very dry and tasteless.”

“I originally heard about Captain John's from a friend who claimed this was the place to go for some of the best friend fish in the Boston area. So naturally, on my last day in Boston, I came in very excited for this to be everything I heard of and more... And they absolutely delivered! Wonderfully pleasant folks serving beautifully fried fish and incredibly tender scallops. It was so good, I ended up finishing a whole seafood platter by myself. The music and laughter from the bar also really builds on the small town atmosphere that adds another level to the experience. I would recommend this to anyone who has the chance to stop by!”

I'm not typically one to leave reviews for things, especially not big corporate fast food restaurants but this location is very well managed and my most recent time ordering delivery they went as far as to call me directly to substitute an item they'd run out of. I've been on both ends of food service and know this is not as common practice as it should be, almost anywhere else would just remove the item from the order.”

“While the lines are generally long at this location, they almost always move fast and the employees have always been very friendly and helpful! My orders have also always been correct. Pretty standard for McDonald's in terms of food quality although occasionally I've gotten some cold fries or nuggets. Overall a solid location.”

Service is slow though. Sometimes it would take 10-15 minutes and it isn’t busy maybe one car ahead. Also, their bread is some of the best I've ever had, perfectly buttered and made fresh (from what i can tell, more than once a day). The woman running the shop is so incredibly sweet and puts all the heart into the food! Highly recommend Note- it can be hard to find, and may not be the brightest spot, but I would describe it as very cozy, old school and warm. Love that this place exists!”

I looked up restaurants in the area and Bani Restaurant came across my page, We stopped in around 5pm kinda late not many choices but the little they had there hit the spot! Nice clean location, the owner and her husband just took over this business from another family member and they are absolutely the kindest, nicest people you wish to always come across! Downfall no public restroom understandable but the let us use the employees restroom out back, clean and fully stocked! “I am on the quest to find the best Pho in north of Boston beside Pho pasture in downtown Chinatown.I have to say this was a great place. The brat was fantastic. The ingredients very fresh. The only difference is in Chinatown. You get a better selection of seafood inside the brath”

“We really enjoyed eating here. If anybody actually reads this, I don't honestly think it deserves 5 out of 5, but it seems like a lot of other reviewers are being quite harsh so I'm trying to offset them a bit. Maybe a 4? A bit pricey but very tasty.”

“The egg rolls are so delicious and addicting (I've tried crab rangoon and spinach fillings). They have great vegetarian options too. The boba tea is also really good (I recommend the green tea one) but can tend to be on the sweeter side (you can adjust sweetness). The staff is very friendly. The location itself is quite small so I tend to take the food elsewhere or eat there then head out. I would not recommend their tofu bento because it was very dry and tasteless.”

“Took mom out to eat and it was a perfect time.They said 10/15 minutes for a table and was only about 5 minutes. Table was great for my mom who walks with a cane. Food was delicious and Shout out to our server Morgan, she was busy and still had time to answer our question and make suggestions without making us feel like we were keeping her . The only thing I would change is I would wear thicker socks it was FREEZING IN THERE! Had some leftovers I will eat in my warm home ?”
