“The food is delicious. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The paintings on the walls are beautiful and provide a nice and cozy ambiance. The music on Thursday is the best.”
“I originally heard about Captain John's from a friend who claimed this was the place to go for some of the best friend fish in the Boston area. So naturally, on my last day in Boston, I came in very excited for this to be everything I heard of and more... And they absolutely delivered! Wonderfully pleasant folks serving beautifully fried fish and incredibly tender scallops. It was so good, I ended up finishing a whole seafood platter by myself. The music and laughter from the bar also really builds on the small town atmosphere that adds another level to the experience. I would recommend this to anyone who has the chance to stop by!”
“This is my go to spot. I love their foods especially their kathiew, they have great portion and lots of meats in there. I also have to order their Thai tea or Thai ice coffee it’s very good! They have friendly staff that’s helpful and welcoming! If you’re looking for a place to eat I’d recommend this place! I’d rather eat inside instead of doing take out.”
“Had a lovely lunch and a few drinks the other day. Great selection of drinks, specials, and standards that are sure to please anyone craving the proper pub experience.”

“Popped in here for a few drinks on a Friday evening. Our server was very attentive, personable, and helpful. Our friend enjoyed their Belgian beer selection and I really enjoyed the Jungle Bird cocktail. We're planning on coming back for food but I hear good things. And not to mention the interior is beautiful. Original dark wood bar and classic looking features make this place stand out from your typical bar scene.”
“This was my first time at the restaurant. A friend recommended this place, and we went together to check it out. It's spotless and ambiance and cozy. The waitress is warm and friendly. And checks upon us to see we are well taken care of. And. Since it was my first time, it was a bit challenging to choose a meal to decide. But it's okay, and they were patient and served the best possible way.”

“Food was phenomenal! Super spicy and deep flavor. The portions were generous. My favorite Sichuan dish is shui zhu yu and they had it. It’s listed as fish and vegetables in chili broth on the menu. I was not disappointed and I wish I lived in town so I could get it more often. My husband got the chili squid and he asked for it extra spicy. They accommodated but made sure to keep the balance of the flavors. It was so well cooked and the squid was buttery tender. My husband was super happy with it.My friend got the shredded chicken dish and it was love at first bite. The chicken was crispy outside but super tender and moist on the inside. Had a nice spicy kick. One thing that should be noted is that rice isn’t included in the entrees. They charge $2.50. Normally this would upset me because rice is such an essential part of the meal, but the food was so good, I don’t even care lol. 10/10 would recommend.”
“I stumbled on this place while doing an event at mill no.5 and was so delighted with everything about it! I thought it was a spanish speaking restaurant from a distance, which made me feel confident enough to go in and order, but the workers and customers spoke portuguese haha! despite the two of us having a language barrier, the server made sure I knew what I was ordering and was very patient. the restaurant was cozy and the presentation of the food was so beautiful! I almost ordered the fish but I wanted something new and ordered the chicken gizzard dish. and guys, oh my god, it was AMAZING!!!!!! I do not have words for how good this was lol! Included was also a heaping pile of perfectly cooked rice (which makes all the difference) and a sausage side dish. I ate it slowly through the entirety of the event at mill no. 5 and still have leftovers in my fridge!! such a great deal for the price. Next time I think I'll bring my brazilian in-law and order some dessert lol”
“My sister ordered just a simple French toast with bananas. I got the Greek Benedict, it was my first time having eggs Benedict The sauce had a rich taste, it was neutral for me. Wasn't bad but wasn't the greatest, just not used to it. The service was friendly and good. Would return to try other items on the menu.”
“Less pricey & better quality than ihop! Delectable food, delivery or sitting in all fresh and homemade and the workers are very friendly I LOVE this place new spot for me in my husband!!!”
“I’ve been to Dragonfly a few times, and it’s been great each visit. Very comfortable atmosphere, tasty food items, and strong coffee drinks. The baristas are always super nice too.”
“My favorite pizza in the UNIVERSE! Amazing, unique flavors, perfect crust. Awesome vegan and gluten-free options. Can't go wrong with this place. Every time I come home from traveling abroad, the first thing I want is one of their Cauliflower Manchurian pizzas. So happy they are open and delivering during this time. If I'm going to support local restaurants, Veggie Crust, I want to support you! Thank you for your high standards and fantastic food. Looking forward to my next slice!”
“Eliu's Hole in the Wall is a hidden gem offering an exquisite fusion of flavors! The Beef Taco Pizza is a must-try, bursting with savory goodness at every bite. Their Pastelon is a delightful surprise, rich in Caribbean flair. Don't miss out on the Mushroom Swiss, a savory delight that's simply irresistible. The Chicken and Eggplant Parm Combo is a perfect harmony of flavors. Even their salads, like the House Salad and Eliu's Tossed Salad, are fresh and flavorful additions to any meal. Eliu's is a culinary adventure waiting to be discovered!”
“I tried the Keto Pad Thai with chicken. It was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this place to anyone on Keto. I'm sure everything is great. Thank you for having a Keto menu”

“The food is delicious. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The paintings on the walls are beautiful and provide a nice and cozy ambiance. The music on Thursday is the best.”
“The egg rolls are so delicious and addicting (I've tried crab rangoon and spinach fillings). They have great vegetarian options too. The boba tea is also really good (I recommend the green tea one) but can tend to be on the sweeter side (you can adjust sweetness). The staff is very friendly. The location itself is quite small so I tend to take the food elsewhere or eat there then head out. I would not recommend their tofu bento because it was very dry and tasteless.”
“I had the BIGGEST Bahn Mi- flush with vegetables and so flavorful. I would've snagged a pic, but I immediately dug in. Employees were super friendly, very laid back atmosphere. Definitely a new spot to hit up.”

“I can’t say enough about this place. The food, the bartenders, the servers, the atmosphere and the entertainment- OUTSTANDING!! It’s all amazing. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave it’s a great experience!! I really got the feeling that everyone that works there enjoys their job and they work so well together. True team work. Can’t wait to go again. Next time, I’m trying the carrot cake. A table next to us got a huge piece and it looked fantastic!!”
“Large portions, friendly staff, and good service.Local spot for Portuguese dishes. Can get quite busy, but the servers are attentive and helpful. We typically always get the kale soup, house steak and Portuguese fries (more like plantain looking cut chips). Had the special lobster scallop and shrimp scampi dish tonight over linguine which was very good. Seafood stew is very hearty. Flan was also very good.*sharing menu as it’s not visible anywhere else online*”

“This little hidden hole in the wall has great entrees. No wheelchair access and they don’t speak much English, if at all (put my orders in pointing at the menu). Yet ordering was simple enough (menu mostly in English). Food was good enough to go back a second time in the same week.”

“I just wanted to leave a positive review for the kind employee who creates the macchiato coffee in the morning. You are the best and maybe I’m biased , if you’re reading this you make the best macchiato out of anywhere.. I appreciate you. Be well.”
“Consistently good service. I'm not typically one to leave reviews for things, especially not big corporate fast food restaurants but this location is very well managed and my most recent time ordering delivery they went as far as to call me directly to substitute an item they'd run out of. I've been on both ends of food service and know this is not as common practice as it should be, almost anywhere else would just remove the item from the order.”
“While the lines are generally long at this location, they almost always move fast and the employees have always been very friendly and helpful! My orders have also always been correct. Pretty standard for McDonald's in terms of food quality although occasionally I've gotten some cold fries or nuggets. Overall a solid location.”
“First time coming to this Burger King and the service was fantastic! Me and my friends got our food in less than 5 minutes. Our food was good and hot. Fries were freshly hot and the place is clean. I'll definitely come again if I'm in the area!”
“I was here a few years ago and back then the food was terrible, enough that I said would never come back here. Lately though, IDK if new management or something but the food is good now. Service is slow though. Sometimes it would take 10-15 minutes and it isn’t busy maybe one car ahead. I like eating inside the restaurant though. If Burger King is to remain alive and compete with other burger chains they need to improve on speed of service while maintaining their quality.Price is super affordable compared to McDonald’s now a days.”
“This McDonald's is way better than the one on Chelmsford street in Lowell. The one on Chelmsford street they are unprofessional. This McDonald's customer is way more professional and ”
“AMAZING Food, for what you pay the portions are huge. Very well seasoned food and the customer service is on point. Highly recommend Lao style Fried rice, Papaya Salad level 3, and The ”
“This is a little hidden gem - food with amazing flavor. I would highly recommend to try different items on the menu, specially something you haven't tried somewhere before because you might be pleasantly surprised with something so good it just might turn out to be your new favorite food!!! highly recommended!”
“So I was on a hunt for Cambodian food and there's a plethora of this cuisine in Lowell Ma. Stopped by on our way back to CT and it was amazing! Nothing fancy, hole in a wall. But the food speaks for itself. Had the beef skewers marinated in lemon grass, haven't had this in 6 years and it just brought back good memories. I was addicted to this at one point. Had the bo loc lac, it was good but I've had better. They were out of the roasted duck because of lunar new year, so we got the boneless half duck, smothered with sauce sitting on a bed of Chinese broccoli, this was fantastic!! And had the mee ka thung special, it's similar to Thai lad na... I can drink the gravy of this noodle dish. And lastly, had the morning glory, aka water spinach with pork belly, spicy and scrumptious.. I can eat this everyday. It's trokuon in Cambodia and kangkong in the Philippines and Malaysia... I always crave this dish. BF who doesn't usually like pork belly, enjoyed it, the pork belly was sliced so thin, you can barely taste the fatty part. 5 stars for a fantastic meal and friendly service! Looking forward to my next visit.”

“The variety of choice is not something to expect here. However, their chicken Tikka pizza is something to look forward too. It's a self service-pay to eat - kind of operation.”

“Best Kathiew beef noodle soup. I have lived in lowell for 6 years and have tried most cambodian places (noddle soup) and this is by far the best!! Also, their bread is some of the best I've ever had, perfectly buttered and made fresh (from what i can tell, more than once a day). The woman running the shop is so incredibly sweet and puts all the heart into the food! Highly recommend Note- it can be hard to find, and may not be the brightest spot, but I would describe it as very cozy, old school and warm. Love that this place exists!”
“This was my first time at the restaurant. A friend recommended this place, and we went together to check it out. It's spotless and ambiance and cozy. The waitress is warm and friendly. “Owners made it a point to speak with us. Very friendly and caring staff. The breakfast is better than any you’d find around. Will definitely return for breakfast again and also will try the lunch!! Give them a try!”
“The hot dogs are great no matter how you take them. The fries are cooked to order & always hot, crispy, yet fluffy on the inside. I always ask for them salted & they are never over oily. The service is always quick, above par & done with a smile. Although their delicious hot dogs are a simple food. Elliot's is still a landmark, cathedral of historic downtown Lowell MA. ? ? ? ??”
“Very happy I stopped by, I had steak and rice and beans it was great, In particular the rice was yellow rice was fantastic!!! The rice was not dry and was perfect! The woman helping to serve me was really nice, thanks for employing genuinely nice people! I will be back more! Keep the good food quality! It was great! Very happy!”
“One of the best salads around. Greek salad with a scoop of their delicious tuna is my favorite. Always fresh and crunchy. Excellent service with a smile every time.”

“I ordered three dozen cupcakes for my sons party and they were a hit! Little Delights is our go to for parties and events. Great tasting food and wonderful service!”
“My daughter in law’s lovely large Khmer family really wanted to go to this restaurant! We drove from Ny and the other family members flew in from CA and drove from CT. The food was fantastic and quite flavorful. We got a real smorgasbord of various dishes that we all enjoyed. My favorites were the Khmer chicken wings-outstanding crunch and flavor (I like them better than Buffalo wings), and my absolute favorite, lemongrass chicken. Every other dish was amazing, too. We certainly want to go back here!”
“Went for the first time today and it was amazing!! WONDERFUL king Crab Leg prices, the staff is SO helpful, nice and friendly!!And if you get to meet Luna, the store pup, she deserves all the love!!”
“The food was good, service was only ok. Lot to choice from the menu. So I picked Bibimbap, a dish I always want to try because all the K drama always eat that. I had the most expensive seafood bibimbap for $17. It has shrimps, scallops, squid, and mussels with the spicy sauce ?”

“My mom had a bogo deal on her app, so we got homewrecker bowls. Absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients, friendly staff. When we walked in the manager gave us chili queso to try! It was really good! I also loved the cilantro style salsa! (The only "negative" was that we were missing shredded cheese on our bowls, but it didn't bother us much). One bowl is really two meals.... do it!”
“My late night chocolate jr frosty run is always a great experience. Especially with this one guy thats always working when I go. He is nice, attentive, fast and mmm. Would it be wrong to ask him for his number?”
“Excellent!!! That's how I feel after visiting this location and get that coffee in my hands. The team is always friendly and professional which makes writing this review a piece of cake. I come to this location because they always get it right!! I always try to work with Kelly since she is on point and I know she will get me started off on the right foot. Great location, fast service exceptional!!!”
“This is the best location around my area to stop by for a quick bite. Ordered KFC online last night and picked it up at this location. The sides and extra crispy chicken was still warm and tasted fresh. Gotta say it was bussin’ probably the best I’ve had in awhile here. Just a heads up you can only order taco bell at the drive through. Shoutout to the team running the place there, you guys are doing great!”
“The person who waited on me had an excellent personality. They were very friendly and courteous. I also received my food in a timely manner, and I will definitely make this Wendy’s place to go when I’m in a mood for good fresh food.”

“Delicious breakfast food! Ordered a blueberry and heath pancake and was really happy with the light crispiness around the edges. The breakfast sandwich was also great. Eggs cooked perfectly, but I would order this on sourdough next time instead of the bulkie. In and out relatively quickly, will definitely come back on another lazy Sunday morning.”
“I was really looking forward to trying Vietnamese coffee from a café for the first time and my expectations were met and exceeded! I even got to try a version of cold foam that was completely new to me which added a wonderful sweetness to the strong flavor of the Robusta beans. The staff were friendly, kind, and patient with me as a new customer. I'm sad this location will be closing soon for renovations but look forward to trying their 2nd location a few minutes away in the meantime.”
“Absolutely the best bootmill sandwich ? for all that don't know what it is.. it's egg, choice of meat. My favorite is bacon . Home fries. Cheese. All cooked to perfection on a bulkie roll... Served by some of the finest young men that are very polite and professional.. In the cutest old trolley car at the old boot mills of downtown Lowell ..”
“Can not speak highly enough of this place. The fried chicken is amazing, hands down some of the best I've had. (I lived in the South for a while.)But I think the place is under-sung because they have a whole international menu that is just as excellent. Greek salad is excellent, huge chunks of feta. The Indian dishes are fantastic, too.Trying a gyro tonight, smells amazing.”
“love it here. great beer, vibe, food trucks.... and even my dog & kids love it here. Wish they had seltzer more often so I could entice my wife to join me.”
“I absolutely loved these guys boba tea! Compared to many different boba shops I've been to this one was unique... Not only do they have over 100 selections! ( something that's not seen a lot) but do they also have a variety of snacks including waffles, corndogs, and macarons. I always enjoy getting the Taro milk tea with lychee jelly, always a favorite.. I recommend these guys as they are also a small family run business not those high end company brand ones...so love in each drink is always amazing.10/10.”
“Very small corner restaurant in Lowell, but they have amazing food. The fried squid was so crispy, yet so juicy. The meekathung is good, but in my opinion, viet Thai's is better in flavor. I also got the lemon soda and it was nice and sour, I just wished it was a bit sweeter. Aside from what I ordered this day, I've also tried their soups and they do not lie when they say they have the best somlaw machu kreung. Soooo good. Definitely recommend.”
“My girlfriend and I made a trip to Cape cod this week and then Salem, and Club diner had to be the most pleasant surprise of our trip. We needed something affordable and delicious after such a busy week and they delivered. Our waitress was very informative about Lowell, their history and why Beans are the best here and nowhere else. Yes that includes Boston. Trust me when I say you won't regret coming to Club Diner.”
“love for there pizza they have a new rewards app to every 40points is a free pizza every dollar u spend is 1 point so basically every 2 pizzas I get is a free pizza come up.”
“Yummy Green Goddess Grain bowl and iced ocean blue latte followed by a Mexican hot chocolate latte for dessert. Love the vibe. Love the food. Please please open a cafe in Rhode Island, preferably in Newport or Middletown. :) See you again soon!”
“Just a great little neighborhood pizza and sub shop. It's not fancy, it doesn't have to be. The pizzas we've had are very good and the steak bomb is exceptional! The owner is wonderful, and don't forget to pick up a bottle of his family 's olive oil which they make in Greece, very very tasty!”
“The food is bomb and the services is awesome I would recommend them they have everything you want to eat and the amount of food you get you never go wrong with ordering a plate their food is just down ”

“Was in Lowell for business purposes on a Sunday and was famished! I looked up restaurants in the area and Bani Restaurant came across my page, We stopped in around 5pm kinda late not many choices but the little they had there hit the spot! Nice clean location, the owner and her husband just took over this business from another family member and they are absolutely the kindest, nicest people you wish to always come across! Downfall no public restroom understandable but the let us use the employees restroom out back, clean and fully stocked! I highly recommend visiting this business if you’re in the area, Always support the local businesses!”
“Very friendly and attentive staff; warm, quiet environment; and food with the kind of nostalgic flavor that makes you feel like you never even stepped out of your home. :)”
“Their potion is great. I always order the Kathew Phnom Penh Dry at Khmer restaurants; this is up there in taste and quality. My friend got the hot wings with papaya salad. I tried the papaya salad and it was hitting (great). It was not spicy but it was a bit sweet with the taste of salted crabs. You can always add chill, it is at the table.Parking: You need to come during slow days/hours to park in their lot. There are only 6/8 spots. But there is plenty of street parking if you are lucky.”
“Fantastic place to get vegetarian sushi. Love the sweet potato roll and inari (tofu skin sushi).Vegetarian options: More vegetarian types of sushi than most other places.”

Charlies Pub
“First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.”
“Vegetarian options: We ordered Rava dosa, veg chilli noodles, Chana Puri ,Sandwiches they taste deliciousKid-friendliness: Very kids friendly dishes.Sevice is awesome.”
“We went there for a birthday and ordered 2 combo platters (hot and raw). It was a lot of food, and was cut fresh so there was a little wait, but it was worth it. Fresh, melt in your mouth sushi. It was different types of salmon combination which was exactly what we were looking for. The wait staff was very nice.”
“Fantastic experience in this tucked away gem. Incredibly knowledgeable owner that brews some very distinct and well balanced beers of many varieties. This spacious taproom has a fantastic environment for all types by keeping it casual and relaxing. Would definitely frequent this brewery if I was a local.”

“The barista was very welcoming and she knows her regulars by name which is so cool. The shop is a little hole in the wall with amazing sunlight. A great spot to enjoy your breakfast. We got one sausage and one bacon egg and cheese on English muffins and they make theirs with Swiss cheese. It tasted pretty good. The iced coffee is also great, very smooth flavor and doesn't have that strong aftertaste of coffee beans. Definitely try this place for a quick breakfast! Also I love the packaging for the sandwiches, so cute!”
“Cavaleiro's is a delightful surprise deep in one of Lowell's neighborhoods. Our 1st time, we sat at the bar and enjoyed top quality, perfectly cooked, juicy steaks. Everything we had was excellent and the service was exceptional. If you prefer table seating, make a reservation.”
“AWESOME AUTHENTIC pho soup & other Vietnamese/Cambodian dishes. I've been dining here for the past 20 years and although the atmosphere may not a " 5-star" setting .....but it' is clean. Food IS as authentic as it can be!!! Staff is friendly and service is FAST!! Being 1/2 Thai -I'm a critic when it comes to Asian cuisine and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy delicious food”
“I never comment or post about a restaurant, however since eating here I cannot stop thinking about it. Friendly staff, amazing drinks, and live music that was good and not so loud you couldn’t hear the staff or other members in your party speaking. The jerk chicken alone is enough of a reason to visit this place. I highly recommend Sahel to anyone, even if it’s just for drinks and an appetizer.”

“I am on the quest to find the best Pho in north of Boston beside Pho pasture in downtown Chinatown.I have to say this was a great place. The brat was fantastic. The ingredients very fresh. The only difference is in Chinatown. You get a better selection of seafood inside the brath”
“We really enjoyed eating here. If anybody actually reads this, I don't honestly think it deserves 5 out of 5, but it seems like a lot of other reviewers are being quite harsh so I'm trying to offset them a bit. Maybe a 4? A bit pricey but very tasty.”
“Average quality food, but superior variety. Would definitely come back and recommend to others. Theres all kind of food dishes of chicken, pork, beef and kids friendly food. Would highlight recommend Very kind service here too”

“Took mom out to eat and it was a perfect time. They said 10/15 minutes for a table and was only about 5 minutes. Table was great for my mom who walks with a cane. Food was delicious and Shout out to our server Morgan, she was busy and still had time to answer our question and make suggestions without making us feel like we were keeping her . The only thing I would change is I would wear thicker socks it was FREEZING IN THERE! Had some leftovers I will eat in my warm home ?”
