“Some of the tastiest orange chicken I ever had. Took one bite and could not help but immediately hop around like toddler as a maniacal grin slowly curled across my face. In my euphoria I lost all touch with reality and even experienced temporary blindness. If your spouse doesn't like the food you should divorce them and maybe even throw their favorite shirt away or something. Great food!“
“Went yesterday to tangs for the first time since they were in their new location. I was immediately impressed by the space they now had and how clean it was. I also absolutely love the fact that they leave their kitchen open for everyone to see. We ordered the general tso chicken and pork, fried rice and egg rolls. best I have had in years! Can’t wait to go back again.“
“Great food at a great price. We had Singapore chicken and hibachi chicken and shrimp, and all were delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and they even threw in a free sushi roll since it was my dad's birthday. They definitely don't skimp on portion sizes, so count on having leftovers.“
“Asian Grill - RT5 Stateline Enfield, the best in the area. Takeout Ad's Pizzeria in WL or sit-down at Nonna's Pizza Route 140 EW. S5 Wed Sushi special @ the market in Suffield Center. Packed hogies H@M Grinder near Bradley Airport and now LA Subs by the cinema in Enfield's Mall. Sit down to impress Maine Seafood. For a classic joint with a bar Mark's Tavern. Both over the RT40 bridge in East Windsor. Mark Restaurant has a cafe Pleasant Street Enfield's in Old Tvilee for with gram but this Chinese can't be beat. Manja.“
“Went with my daughter and we got to plates and two sodas. Paid over $50 for food that was ok but not great. The service was fast but its really more of a take out place. We dined in and it felt like we were eating in their back pantry. The table was so wobbly we decided to make a game of it to see who could eat without spilling. Would not go back again.“
“Food is best around, chicken fried rice has tons of chicken and is delicious, boneless ribs are amazing, ask them to make them extra crispy is key, crab Rangoon are the best I've ever had, everything there is great, I don't eat Chinese alot but when I do I go only there.Parking: I park right in front, order is usually ready when I get there.“
“Week to week this is a lovely Chinese restaurant to order a number of appetizer favorites and house special meals. They’re ALWAYS busy but manage to prepare your order in a timely manner.Personal favorite is letter M with a substitution of beef lo mein instead of vegetables. They’re always accommodating and do not give you an attitude when you ask for a substitute. I rather take a 20 minute drive to this Chinese restaurant than a few of the local establishments.Despite the airy clear film divider, the area where they prep our food appears to be quite clean and not cluttered. Give them a try. Despite the older negative reviews, every business deserves a chance to improve. Give Fortune Cookie a try!Pros: fresh food, flavor is never lacking (not salty), clean working area, professional, on time and consistentCons: they’re closed on Tuesdays“
“eating inside is a lot better than getting delivery. Unfortunately when I had worked at a certain facility and we would order from here all the time, they would never give us utensils. Or napkins. It's just straight up food a lot of times they would forget too and you would have to call them back. But when you go and sit down at the restaurant, it's a whole, totally different experience they treat you with such kindness and respect. Give you as many napkins as you need, make sure you have utensils, and they're very kind and courteous. Perhaps maybe somebody else had owned it previously or different management took on ship.“
“First time ordering and had delivery. Ordered a variety of items; ei. Chow mein, sweet and sour, combo plate, soup, egg rolls, etc. Everything was hot and had a lot of flavor. Also delivery was fast and the young man that delivered the order was very pleasant, polite and friendly. This will be my new go to without a doubt! Thank you to all, Judy“
“A definite surprise, once you step in it's lovely compare to it's outside cover. The food is delicious except for the dumpling soup which was bland. The service is good albeit not happy and welcoming but the food and cleanliness makeup the difference.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes accessible but a tight fit thru the door going in. Entrance is far-left door. Almost thought they were closed.“
“Ordered take out for lunch. Had to wait 20 minutes for lunch at 2pm, take that as you want I guess. As far as food quality it was good food. Didn’t have any problems after eating if you know what I mean. Staff was friendly both on the phone and in person. Would go back.“
“New management? Or new cook? I used to love Jack Chen II when it first opened up years ago, but it seemed like as the years went by, so did the passion for serving good quality food. ? I ordered a pu pu platter from here the day because my normal Chinese spot is on vacation and EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! No burnt ribs, everything was freshly fried, the rice had good texture and flavor! Idk what yah doing differently Jack Chen II but keep it going! ??“
“I've NEVER had a bad experience at this restaurant. This place is a solid go-to. Their prices are fair value. Their food is always fresh and the rices are always perfectly cooked. Try the lo mein, you'll love it. SEE MORE BELOW.Pro Tips for Orders: Avoid the egg rolls, they're too small for their pice. And always ask for more condiments.“
“Ordered delivery. Arrived quickly, all meals were hot. We all had lunch specials which come with pork fried rice and a vegetable egg roll. All main dishes were tasty- sweet and sour chicken done with all white meat, general tso chicken also done with white meat and shrimp egg fo young, with brown sauce (usual have white sauce) but it was good. Vegetable egg rolls were not as fresh as we like. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and it was nice to order delivery. Prices and serving sizes were excellent. We would definitely order from here again.“
“I have not had good luck with Chinese take-out over the last few years. I read the reviews for Hong Kong Garden and they were positive so I thought I would give it a try. I'm so glad I did!I ordered house fried rice, boneless spareribs and pork lo mein. Everything was delicious! The pork was so tender. The homemade duck sauce, which is brown in color, was so good.I'm so happy that I ordered from them and will definitely do so again.“
“Grest variety of food and trays are constantly being refilled. Waitststaff are friendly and quick to pick up empty plates. My only complaint is they keep the restaurant too cold even in the winter. So cold that your food cools off before you can finish.“
“While I was waiting for my order, the phone was ringing constantly with food orders, so this is a well-known place for good Chinese take-out food. That’s with good reason: portions are generous, the food is good, and prices are fair. Don’t plan on eating inside, despite a large space that could seat diners, the tables and chairs are stacked up and cleared away as if we were back in the pandemic of 2020. The atmosphere reminds me of restaurants I’ve been to in China, with cardboard boxes and random storage all over the place. You won’t be here for the atmosphere. But definitely come for the food, good American-style Chinese food that you know and love.“
“The food is just good, lately I notice a change, the food is very greasy, the portions are the same though.. It just takes a long time to be delivered so I would recommend to pick it up.Another thing that I noticed is that hey always get my order right, I never had to deal with missing something or messing up my order like other restaurants. One thing I wish it was different is the cleanliness of the restaurants, the place looks old and outdated, it just gives a bad impression.Parking: No parking here, you'll have to park a few blocks away before theres never space, and theres a barber shop next to this place that takes all the parking spots in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: no wheelchair accessibility or handycap parking“
“General tso was some of the most flavorful sauces I have ever had. The quality of chicken used was also superior to the average Chinese food restaurant. Also pleasantly surprised to have the food ready very quickly and was piping hot. Would highly recommend, especially as a late night option.“
“MinFen Kitchen is the best “authentic” Asian food around. Wong Garden (now closed) could not compare. I have tried 6 different Asian food places nearby and nothing is as good as this place. My fiancée and I order at least once a week. I would die for their house lo-mein. This small business delivers crazy happiness - portions are large, food is phenomenal, and it’s a local family business, how could you say no? Don’t count them out. Was and will always be my favorite takeout place. Plan to have my own wedding catered by them.“
“Always order takeout, never dine in. The area of this restaurant is extremely sketchy (I live in this part of town, I would know) , but it's not their fault. Food is great for the price. One combination plate lasts you for two or three days !“
“This is one of the best sushi spots in the area, the amount of options is great and the prices are even better, the online ordering for takeout is super easy to use and the service in the restaurant is also great; the staff is also very nice. Highly recommend stopping here for some sushi“
“Tried for the first time tonight! Waiter was very friendly, and everything was very quick. Was slightly surprised at the smaller portion of rice, it was so delicious i wanted more!Best tasting food out of a chinese/japanese place I’ve ever had! Interior was very cozy and clean. I think we will be making this our new spot!“
“Very very fresh delicious food! Chin’s is the real deal! I always get take out and it is packed so that it stays very fresh. The dine-in area is always very clean but just not the atmosphere that I would want to dine in. Very friendly staff as well.“
