“We tried for the first time today! :) Food was great & coffee even better. Really enjoyed my coffee. Service wasn’t rude but was very unfriendly. Very stoic and serious, straight to the point. Seemed bothered by our presence and a question on the menu. The dining area wasn’t clean and upon walking in, everyone was standing around (we were the only ones in there) so not sure why it was so messy. Perhaps they were taking a break in between a rush which is understandable! I will give it another shot soon.“

I ordered an eggplant ? and garlic calzone thinking it was going to be a small portion. To my surprise ? it was HUGE for only $15!!!! I ate a quarter of it and was so stuffed. I had to get a to-go-container. My family ordered spaghetti ? and large meatballs. They couldn't finish their portions either.Unfortunately the service was not my cup of tea. Extremely disappointed. I had to bag my own food and wait a considerably long time to be served. Somewhat ignored by the waiter.I would have given this restaurant a one star or negative zero star rating because of the poor customer service. “I've been going to La Fiorentina Pastry shop for 15 years now. It's a staple of the Italian section of the south end of Springfield. They have the BEST desserts and cakes in Western Mass. I would highly recommend their cannoli cakes if you are looking to branch off from basic chocolate, vanilla, and marble cakes. Great service and great food!“

“Under new Ownership. The Grinders are really NOT GOOD Especially the ham & american "cheese". The American is the cheap fake like kraft singles type cheese. The food is also Quite Pricey, but who isn't. You can now order online now & its easy. The pizza and dinners are really good stick to that the grinders are REALLY bad. I'd eat subway over these grinders hands down.“

“Love this place ! The original Mario’s in the 80’s snd 90’s on State St in Springfield was one of our favorites ever and was so excited to see it reincarnated in East Longmeadow a few years back. “My body thanks me for such a delicious meal today. Upset with myself that I took no good picture but means I need to come back again. Came here with family after going to a retirement party. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and fried mozzarella for appetizers. Has to be some of the best fried mozzarella I have ever had with that perfect crisp bite and oozing cheese. Everyone ordered fillet. Cook it to how you like it, rare is indeed rare and look as a medium rare comes away it should too. I have some leftovers so looking forward to having that for lunch Sunday this week. Thought about steak and eggs for breakfast but I am still full! For dessert my aunt wanted to order three things by insisted how full everyone was we only ordered two. We all had cappuccinos and I asked the waitress to get me a scoop of ice cream for mine as well as order a chocolate cake and tiramisu. Chocolate cake was dry, tiramisu was out of this world and I am not a fan of tiramisu. The end of the day I had a very positive experience and looking forward to bringing a date here someday.“
“We ate at De Nardo's on a Saturday evening. I had spaghetti with meatballs and my wife had the grilled chicken salad. Both were very generously portioned. We could not eat It all ( I think that my portion was the equivalent of a full box of spaghetti, and a large basket of bread accompanied our meals). Our service was good; our waitress was friendly. There are photographs on the walls and this place has a family vibe. They serve good basic food that is well prepared, it was not busy, we could take our time to eat, and it "hit the spot" on a cold night. This restaurant is a nice choice for evenings when you want to eat a leisurely "comfort food" type Italian dinner. We look forward to returning.“
“Wondered by this place while working on a project in the area and stopped in for a quick bite. I had the lobster roll and it was phenomenal. Huge chunks of lobster on a delicious, fresh roll. There is an attached bakery where I had some of the best amaretto cookies I've ever tasted. I was o impressed I went back for 3 days and bought trays of cookies for all of my clients in the area. “Village pizza has great food. But what sets them apart is that they really know their customers. If I call up for delivery they already know my name. Address. Form of payment without me saying anything. They even know my typical order and that I want them to call me when they get to my building so I can be at the door. Also. This young lady always has a smile on her face while making sure you have a great dining experience. We typically give thanks before we eat and not realizing it Alijha came over to our table of eight just as I was about to pray. So (just jokingly not knowing if she had any religious background) I asked her if she would say grace and without hesitating Alijha said the most beautiful prayer. “My daughter took me here a few times....I got the meatball sub. I am reediting my post here because I was very disappointed. I got the sub each time because the roll was the perfect size. Not too bready....and full size smaller meatballs that were whole that fit the sub perfectly. I went last night for the first time in a while and was so looking forward to it. I was very disappointed. They changed to roll.... too much bread and the meatballs were a little bigger but cut in half. Not happy whatsoever. I will not be coming back.“
“It was my first visit, and I'm from oit of town. The place looked good. The server was nice. They got our pizza order mixed up with another person's, and they made us a whole new pizza. When the bill came, the manager didn't charge us for pizza!! How awesome was that. I will definitely return on my next visit.“
“My husband and I visited for the first time recently. We sat at the bar, where the bartender was very friendly and efficient. My husband had the half rack of baby back ribs and I had the chicken Marsala. The meals came with fresh green salads and delicious warm rolls, accompanied by butter and olive oil/red wine vinegar/seasoning. The food was very good and the portions were extremely generous.
