“A few weeks ago I stopped in at the American Graffiti for a beer and some clam chowder. As I was driving home I got a call from Todd (the owner) and he told me that I dropped a 100 dollar bill on the floor and he would hold onto it for me. How many bars would return a 100 dollar bill. Not many!“
“I don't know why we waited so long to go here. Silly, I guess, since this place is excellent. So we started with the chips and street corn dip, and that was great. The chips were cooked to perfection, and the dip had a great spice to it. My wife had a cheese pizza, and that was solid. I had the meatballs and ricotta with toasted gnocchi. Wow. Just wow. Great draft beers, excellent service (we sat at the bar) and a good vibe. I will DEFINITELY be back.“
“Birthday celebration at Brady’s. Chef brought out a 4 week aged Tomahawk steak for the birthday boy. Brian took excellent care of us and made most of our meal/wine decisions, which I appreciated. The best dessert - toffee top pudding. We will be planning our next event here“
“Stopped by to grab breakfast around 11:30am and it was very busy. Ordered the Big Breakfast that came with 3 eggs, hasbrown, toast, bacon, sasauge and a pancake. Also ordered the sasauge gravy over biscuits. Friendly staff and great service!“
“We enjoyed our monthly girls night here. The staff were super friendly. Our server was very good. The menu had some good options burgers, pizza, and full dinners. I had the salmon burger with sweet potato fries. It was tasty. The haddock dinner was well liked by a few of my friends. The room had a rustic tavern vibe. Would definitely recommend. Prices were very reasonable.“
“We had an excellent dinner at the Herb Lyceum this evening. It seems that they run special types of dinners, and they are currently being a Bistro. The menu had a choice of 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 2 desserts. Our waiter walked us through the entire menu and described how each dish was prepared -- this was very enticing. We had the Foie Gras Poutine and the Lobster Quenelle for appetizers. Both delicious. For the entrees, we had the Mushroom Risotto and the Scallops Grenobloise. The mushrooms (4 varieties) came from a local farm (and our local farm CSA includes mushrooms from the same farm). One of the mushrooms was fried crispy and added a truly delightful crunch to the risotto. Finally we both ended with the Tarte Tartin which was served with brown butter ice cream. Again, this was excellent. After we finished, we chatted with the head chef and complimented him! All in all, this was a very enjoyable evening.“
“While looking for a place for dinner, we happened upon Markoh's quite by accident and are happy we did! My husband and I shared 2 small plates -- the Little Shorty, the Brussels Sprouts and the Mother Earth salad. Here it is, 2 weeks later, and we're still raving about this little hole in the wall bar/restaurant that we almost passed by. Great food, great bartender/server, great ambience. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Give this place a try.“
“This is four stars based on their great burgers. We drive 40 minutes for their burgers, past innumerable burger places. Particularly their black and blue burger, which offers real bleu cheese not just salad dressing, and a half pound of meat. Other food is pretty good; the burgers are awesome.“
“Their subs are out of this world! Me and my husband were passing by and got the steak bomb sub and meatball parm. Bun was perfectly toasted, not soggy, and meat was tender and juicy and sauce and veggies were perfect! Their sides are great too. A must try!“
“I moved to this town alittle over a year ago and FINALLY decided to try this place on my lunch break, kicking myself I didn't sooner! The owner (I assume) was very welcoming and kind! I like that they offer gluten-free options, always a plus. My reuben sandwich was amazing, it was enough for probably two meals. I'll certainly be back again very soon and will spread the word!“
“I was raised in Townsend and I've been around the area my whole life. In that time I've seen a lot of things change, but never the Townsend House. It's a great family restaurant with great food. We got there at 6:30 on a Saturday night, the place was pretty full, and they still made room for us. Food came quickly and everything was great. Kudos to the staff, especially the waitress, she was friendly and quick even though the place was full and our order was complicated. Absolutely highly recommended, if you're just going to the bar for a drink or bringing the whole familyDietary restrictions: We had special requests for some of our meals and the waitress was very helpful. Everything was handled perfectly and nothing was delayed“
“We only had French fries- which were excellent! But being a beer drinker - IPAs - there were lots of delightful and local options and the conversation with proprietor about the lineup was pleasant and interesting. The vibe ranks high. Enjoy!“
“I took my bestie here tonight and had the ABSOLUTE best time!!! The food was amazing (we both use the gluten free menu!!!) the atmosphere was so wonderful and the service was just so beyond!!! Amara was truly one of the BEST servers I’ve ever had-so very kind and attentive and helpful with making everything so perfect and then I believe her name was Camille-came to let us stay longer allowing our wonderful Amara to go home-something I thought was just so very thoughtful & kind-our family has been in the food industry for years and these ladies along with the manager were among the very best I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by!!! 100% will be back and I give this my highest recommendation!!!“
“You can't really go wrong here. Service is always on point, the food is really good, there is a wide array of selections and thr portions are generous. For a chain restaurant, it doesn't really feel like it.My go to is the tonion, 7 pepper sirloin salad, and chowder. I really like ALL the options. So hard to pick just 1 meal.“
“Surprisingly awesome. The sliders were amazing. The people were friendly, and the staff were attentive. Beer was good and the game was on. They offer Keno and an event hall. Full bar and a decent menu. I'd come back for a burger and beer any day!“
“Awesome Service especially if it’s our amazing waitress Nicole! Breakfast was also great. Thank you Nicole in these days excellent customer service is hard to find and I also it’s not an easy job! Thanks again for a wonderful experience.“
“We had an absolutely wonderful evening at the phoenix. Our server BB was wonderful and attentative. I had the nachos. The chili on them were mildly spiced, but I had mine without jalapeños. The portion was huge and could easily be split by two for a full meal. My husband had the burger and was happy with it. My husband had a beer on tap, nothing special. I got a mudslide and it was excellent. For two drinks and all that it was $50. The resteraunt atmosphere was charming. Kinda bummed they didn't have any gluten-free rolls, but one can not expect that. We will be back.“
“Okay so overall it wasn’t terrible. The food was delicious. However the server took days to come back and check on us. But we understood it’s busy so she did try her best. There was so many birthdays when we were there so it got loud fast and it was one after another. But again, I’m here for the food and the food was amazing.“
“Always try to stop in when iam in the area welcoming atmosphere i haven't had a chance to drop by in the summer months but for sure I want to check out the outside seating this summerParking: Love pulling by bike around the side parking lot VIP section ha ha“
“All ready for St. Patrick's Day. Had the Shamrock ☘️ Shake. Mike makes a great dessert drink even if you haven't had anything to eat.We just went to chill.Huge beer selection on tap. Pizzas are a house specialty.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.“
“Stopped by as we heard the chef/owner has worked at some of our very favorite spots where we used to live (such as Romaine's in Northboro and Great Road Kitchen in Littleton). The food was perfect and we can't wait to try more. Pizza was thin and crispy, wings were huge and very obviously fresh, ricotta meatballs were perfect (sauce not too sweet) and the fried pickles were perfect and must be a popular item as 4 or 5 other parties around us had them. The bar area has a great atmosphere and some of the dinner-meals looked delicious, though we were too full to order more. We will be back! Found our new favorite spot in the area.“
“Stopped in on a Friday afternoon . We ordered two beers which were ice cold! We ordered a cheeseburger with mushrooms and French fries , and a small eggplant sub , didn't want fries but wasn't told it come with onion rings too. Our food was delicious, waitress friendly . Too bad the place looks like a dive and the parking lot is a mess .“
“Visiting from out of state on a business trip, we found Tatlista through a google search. We’ve been having to eat out for every meal this week and as a group we unanimously agreed that Tatlista was by far our favorite.Everything we ordered from beginning to end was top notch! Lobster Rangoons, zucchini chips, bourbon steak bites, the steak poutine! One in our group even branched out a little and asked if there was any dish not on the menu that the chef recommended and he was extremely pleased with the haddock dish special that was reserved for the future featured menu. Service was excellent, friendly, welcoming and upbeat. The chef is passionate, caring and was eager to hear about our experience. Thank you so much! I wish I could say we’d be back soon, but it’s quite the drive from Wisconsin! But know that we will always remember Tatlista. Maybe one day you will see us again?“
“Wow! This place is outstanding, in an area of New England where there are lots of good diners. The parking is always full, which tells you something right off the bat. Our server recommended one of their breakfast specials - Eggs Benedict Irish Style with sliced corned beef... I ordered that and was over-the-top happy with it. Cooked to perfection ??“
