“If you want standard American Chinese food then order off the lunch special menu. If you want authentic Chinese food you must order off the dinner menu.They are a Szechuan restaurant so I would recommend ordering dishes like the peppercorn chicken or the Szechuan beef. Szechuan string beans are also really good.“

“This is my go to sushi spot. If you're looking for a specialty roll, you need to try the sakura. Hands down the best roll I've ever had. The restraunt is extremely clean and warm. The staff are welcoming, and there is often a pianist playing some music.“

We had a Christmas party and they kindly arranged the sushi on two big platters for us and also made sure the Uber Eats driver knew to be careful with our order because the sushi could easily move around inside the platters before it reached our house. “This place is well known for sushi and takeout food. If you haven't tried the eat-in experience, I recommend it. The eat-in feels slightly elevated, though the only negative to it is that it is so small inside and the staff has nowhere to be except for the bar, which can feel a bit like crowding (not their fault, it just is what it is). We specifically came for the duck, which we have had in the past. This time, we got the mango crispy duck, and it was A+, just perfectly cooked and crispy yet tender. We also got spicy dumplings, which was a special. We loved them. In addition, we had the lo mein, which was fair. It seemed a bit oily for my tastes and lacked flavor. The scallion pancakes were fine, but served with a soy based sauce and not a plum sauce, which isn't typical around here. The cheese Rangoon (crab) was ok too. Overall, I can say for certain we will be back for that duck and the sushi (didn't have it this time, but consistently some of the best around). The drinks are also well made.“

Best pad thai I've ever had, drinks are really good and cheap, and the atmosphere, at least on a Tues night, is really nice and quiet.Also, I am not sure why it's listed as 30-50, I got a mixed drink, a sushi roll, and pad Thai for <30, and they brought out wonton for free.Really happy with my meal! Like going into Chinatown but with parking and good service ?2024 Update: This restaurant has been under new management (I believe it was sold to the previous owners god children) for a while now. Against all odds and expectations, it has gone from a really good spot to an even better, great restaurant. They have updated the menus, leaning harder into the authentic dishes that had set them apart, and brought an exciting energy. It's always bustling but never overwhelming. Welcoming and warm. It's so fun to watch old dishes that I loved get even better (ex. 3 cup tofu eggplant now has a smokey aspect that I didn't know I was missing) and to see the new owners make their mark.Thanks for bringing your passion, we are so proud of you and I am sure your god parents are too!“

All the food I ordered was delicious except fried calamari. Looked terrible and smelled fishy. Don't let that sway you from enjoying this resturant. Very nice place and friendly staff.“

I prefer a lighter hand with less salt and cornstarch but I understand that their typical clientele expects a more experienced style. I appreciate fresh vegetables and beautiful service. “The food was so good! I wish I took a picture before I ate it all. I tried the jerk pork with rice with djon djon. When I called to ask about food/recommendations, Juan was amazing! He asked if I like spicy and told me about the jerk pork. It was perfect. And he was helpful and nice. I won't order from some places, sad to say, because some are so rude and not helpful when you call an order in. And the staff here was friendly and said hello when I got there to get my food. I had a hankering for some mango sago, so I decided to give theirs a try. At about $6, it seemed like a decent deal. However, I gotta say, I was a bit disappointed with the quality. The mangos were on the hard side and definitely not ripe enough, which affected the overall taste. To make matters worse, I got my mango sago to-go, and it just seemed a bit frothy and off, to be honest. On the bright side, they do have a variety of affordable dessert options, so I'm willing to give them another shot to try something different. As for the setup, there's seating inside if you're in the mood to dine in. Plus, they've got a convenient kiosk for ordering if you want to skip the cashier line, which is a nice touch. Overall, HoneyHoney Dessert Cafe has potential, but they could step up their game when it comes to the quality of their desserts. “I had to come back and update my review -- Shine's has changed, and I think it's great. I hadn't been here since pre-COVID, but a few months ago my family decided to give it another try, and we've been back regularly ever since. The menu is almost completely different from what it was back in 2017: they are focused on authentic dishes, and doing it very well. I wish I'd come back sooner! The menu contains a lot of choices that aren't typical, but are very tasty. We particularly like the Rougamo sandwiches (listed on the menu as "burgers", but that's not exactly how I would describe them) and the "pancakes" (more like stuffed crepes, sort of), particularly the shredded potato pancakes. The soups are also excellent and unusual. And there are still areas of the menu we haven't explored at all. (I have no idea what "Toofy" is... guess I'll have to try it.) My only (minor) complaint is that you order at a kiosk (or online, for take-out) so you can't ask the waiter/waitress for any info/recommendations.“
