The sweet potato fries were decent, but very wet and limp. I'll give a little leeway on them bc this was delivery. I tried a taste of a poke bowl and it was good as well.“

If you want authentic Chinese food you must order off the dinner menu.They are a Szechuan restaurant so I would recommend ordering dishes like the peppercorn chicken or the Szechuan beef. “Went there on Easter Sunday. We weren’t quite sure what to expect. We were greeted by a pleasant staff with multiple servers greeting us along the way. Overall definitely had a friendly feel. It’s a very nice place to eat not overly extravagant but on the upper end of nice. The food was excellent and service was fantastic. The staff seems to work as a great team. We were surprised that our order took nearly 25 minutes but realized it was because the dumplings clearly were made to order from scratch. “This is my go to sushi spot. If you're looking for a specialty roll, you need to try the sakura. Hands down the best roll I've ever had. The restraunt is extremely clean and warm. The staff are welcoming, and there is often a pianist playing some music.“

“They ALWAYS do such a great job with the quality, quantity and presentation of their food. Not to mention, their customer service is always top notch! We had a Christmas party and they kindly arranged the sushi on two big platters for us and also made sure the Uber Eats driver knew to be careful with our order because the sushi could easily move around inside the platters before it reached our house. “This place is well known for sushi and takeout food. If you haven't tried the eat-in experience, I recommend it. The eat-in feels slightly elevated, though the only negative to it is that it is so small inside and the staff has nowhere to be except for the bar, which can feel a bit like crowding (not their fault, it just is what it is). We specifically came for the duck, which we have had in the past. This time, we got the mango crispy duck, and it was A+, just perfectly cooked and crispy yet tender. We also got spicy dumplings, which was a special. We loved them. In addition, we had the lo mein, which was fair. It seemed a bit oily for my tastes and lacked flavor. The scallion pancakes were fine, but served with a soy based sauce and not a plum sauce, which isn't typical around here. The cheese Rangoon (crab) was ok too. Overall, I can say for certain we will be back for that duck and the sushi (didn't have it this time, but consistently some of the best around). The drinks are also well made.“

“A great little sushi shop with excellent service. We ordered milk tea boba and sushi hand rolls after the Patriot's Day re-enactment. We asked for light sweetness in the tea and they nailed it. The hand rolls came with a lot of fresh fish/toppings and they hit the spot. This is now our go-to sushi place in Town “

“We love it here. The food is so authentic and spicy. It takes your tastebuds to a whole new place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It’s truly a gem here, and the authentic nature here makes you appreciate their culture. Also, the Mai Tai is wonderful and the price is reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. The restaurant is huge, and we only had to wait once on Chinese New Year. We get the Spicy Jumbo Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Picked Radish and the Smoked Pork with green pepper. “Food was great for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Definitely don’t expect high-end sushi at AYCE restaurants. They have steaks on the menu, which is a huge plus. The steaks aren’t bad at all. Sushi rice-to-fish ratio is reasonable. Service from the waitresses was ok but the dude from the reception was a little rude and gave side eyes to customers so that took a star off. Maybe he was the owner or something, he obviously didn’t care enough.“

“I had to come back and update my review -- Shine's has changed, and I think it's great. I hadn't been here since pre-COVID, but a few months ago my family decided to give it another try, and we've been back regularly ever since. The menu is almost completely different from what it was back in 2017: they are focused on authentic dishes, and doing it very well. I wish I'd come back sooner! The menu contains a lot of choices that aren't typical, but are very tasty. We particularly like the Rougamo sandwiches (listed on the menu as "burgers", but that's not exactly how I would describe them) and the "pancakes" (more like stuffed crepes, sort of), particularly the shredded potato pancakes. The soups are also excellent and unusual. And there are still areas of the menu we haven't explored at all. (I have no idea what "Toofy" is... guess I'll have to try it.) My only (minor) complaint is that you order at a kiosk (or online, for take-out) so you can't ask the waiter/waitress for any info/recommendations.“

“Really yummy comforting food. Got the seafood tempura roll, yaki udon, and chicken katsu curry. Everything was really tasty and the portion size was good. Tons of veggies in the curry which I liked. Other katsu curries are just the sauce. The veggies were still crunchy but completely cooked which was nice to add a texture contrast. The yaki udon was my favorite. And the seafood tempura roll was delicious and huge. Would definitely eat here again.“

“The absolute BEST place for steamed dumplings! We pick up a couple of packs maybe 2 times per week. They are perfectly steamed, tender pork, ground well with seasoning and the wrapping is not super thick. You will never be disappointed. And the dumpling sauce is not too salty and has a bit of sweetness to it. We love them!!“

They're quick to get you refills on your foods to cook and the soup bases are delicious. Everyone I bring here loves it. My only mistake everytime is doing fresh rather than frozen tofu which gets too warm waiting to be cooked but that's a me issue, will I ever learn? No. Will I find a way to enjoy said tofu everytime anyway even if it's too soft by my own fault? Yes. Fresh veg and fresh meat, what's not to love“

“Picked up from this place for dinner and it was alright. We also drive by this place every week but never really noticed it until today and decided to give it a try since we're in a sushi mood. We got sushi duh and they're ok, no complaints except for the spicy scallop makis (they tasted a lil odd). We gave this place a 4/5 because 1. their spicy chicken wings aint spicy, it's saucey and sweet and we didn't know how to feel. 2. the spicy avocado salad which I was excited for, had more cucumbers than anything else (I was craving imitation crabmeat:( ) and yea it's a place that doesn't really focus on serving sushi & just Japanese cuisine. They also offer Chinese and Thai and Pan Asian dishes so next time, when we're in the mood for solidly sushi, we'd try another place.“
