Their orange chicken was the best I've ever had. It had real slices of orange peel in it, was not overly sugary and not greasy. Good food, but not as authentic. We were looking for a Taiwanese restaurant in Malden, and we stumbled upon Mandarin Malden. The ambiance is good and pretty clean. Ordered pork chop rice with minced pork (豬排飯), oyster pancake (蚵仔煎) and seafood noodle (海鮮大魯麵). After a busy day in the city we decided to skip Chinatown and eat in Malden for Chinese. Free parking and we get good and pleasant service! Ended up here at 4:00 pm and we were the only ones there. Got the place to ourselves. Ordered some hot tea, scallion pancakes, wings, rice, salt and pepper shrimp and beef noodle soup! All came out quick and hot and delish. Prices are fair. Very nice female waitress and FRIENDLY. We will be back!
