“The selection looks vast.I came in for a cup of tea. I am not able to walk at present, not without the help of a rolling walker and a lot of sitting down.There is no tea menu. I had to roll over to the tea and then back to the counter to say and pay for what I wanted.Then, the tea was completely “do it yourself.”It was hard to stand and find all the pieces for the cup, which burned my hand when it was handed to me, and I thus spilled some.I didn’t see the mug protector, nor was one put on for me, and I struggled to find the lids (a dispenser far to the end of the counter).It isn’t a bad idea, but the layout spanned the whole table and the cup pieces were not all in one spot.I was clearly struggling and wished one of the six or seven employees standing around talking had offered to open a door even (they were a bit of a hassle to get in and out of, and there are two coming in).If I had been ambulatory, the tea making process would have been mildly annoying. Given the pain and dysfunction I’m currently in, and the lack of help, though I kept asking for this or that, was frustrating.In my picture I show about a quarter of the tea bar. The cup hand protectors and lids should be RIGHT HERE (the carrier cases are) but the covers are halfway down the table, and the lids are on the opposite side of the long counter. The layout makes no sense, it’s cumbersome, and I can only imagine how frustrating that is when any amount of a crowd is afoot.“

“This tiny small store in Newton Centre serves up several variations of what is now my favorite dessert - mochi donuts. As I was never a big fan of (overly) sweet delights, I've never bothered to try them despite hearing about it until recently at an event. I was truly surprised as I didn't just take a bite BUT finished the whole thing in less than a minute (once again, a pretty big feat for someone who doesn't prefer sweet treats). It wasn't overly sweet like normal donuts and the texture is far more delightful and chewy as much as it was moist. The flavors were potent and quite addicting. “For one the new look inside is absolutely fabulous. The owner i believe is a sweetheart! recommended me the cookies and crème cookie and oh my goodness is it to die for!! I also got the chocolate peanut butter one both of them are 12’s out of 10!! crunchy on the outside gooey and chewy on the inside which in my opinion is the perfect cookie. If you park parallel to rt 1 you're on ground level. If you park in front of the movie theater you have to either take the escalator by the theater or the stairs or elevator in front of the Hall of Fame/museum.“

“Alev baked us a delicious 3-tier red velvet wedding cake. We got 6 different cake variations to try of our choosing. They were all really tasty! My wife and I do not normally like red velvet cakes and were reluctant at first to include this but we tried it nonetheless. We are so happy we did because the red velvet was out of this world. It was so good we ended up choosing that as our wedding cake flavor. Everyone who ate the cake told us how amazing it was! Alev also decorated the cake beautifully. She worked well with our florist to make it look exactly like how we wanted. Furthermore, Alev baked us a bunch of good food for our after-party like baklava, cake pops, and babkas. These were all a huge hit as well. We really appreciate all the hard work she put into making our day so special and everything came out so delicious!“
