“For one the new look inside is absolutely fabulous. The owner i believe is a sweetheart! recommended me the cookies and crème cookie and oh my goodness is it to die for!! I also got the chocolate peanut butter one both of them are 12’s out of 10!! crunchy on the outside gooey and chewy on the inside which in my opinion is the perfect cookie. They were also warmed up for me in less than a minute!!! Prices are so reasonable for the size of these cookies too!! Pls stop by to Cookies by Design you will NOT regret it !“
“I've gotten sandwiches from Hazel's before and they've been good sized but I got a Too Good to Go bag from them recently that included two different loaves of bread, a chocolate chip muffin and a blueberry pastry cornbread thing for 3.99$. It seems like a pretty good deal and the bread wasn't stale so it can be frozen.“
“Great! Ice cream is high quality, cookies are huge, and portion sizes for the prices are reasonable. Overall, good quality, friendly folks working, and an easy place to want to return to. It is kind of niche in terms of cookie sandwiches but if that's what you're after, I'd highly recommend.“
“As a celiac bride, I was worried that any cake safe for me would be unappealing to our guests. I’m so glad to be so wrong! Addie was super helpful at the tasting and made us an adorable cake to cut. We ordered lots of different flavors of mini cupcakes for our guests and they were such a huge hit that we didn’t get any! They were gone in ~30 seconds! Order more than you think you need, we probably could have gotten double what we ordered.“
“French Press Bakery & Cafe is an absolute gem that not only surpassed our expectations but left an indelible mark on our private event. We hosted a company cocktail hour-style gathering, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The food at French Press is outrageously delicious. From meticulously crafted charcuterie boards to sumptuous salmon platters and delightful veggie assortments, every bite was a journey through flavor paradise. The dessert selection was equally impressive, providing a sweet crescendo to an already remarkable culinary experience. The curated menu, customized with the expertise of French Press Bakery & Cafe's owner Jay, showcased the commitment to meeting our specific needs and preferences. French Press recently underwent renovations, which has catapulted the establishment to the next level of sophistication. The glorious outdoor seating area is a testament to thoughtful design, offering a delightful atmosphere for patrons to savor their culinary delights during sunshine seasons. Whether you're seeking a quick coffee pitstop, a laid-back happy hour, a romantic date night, or a venue for private events, French Press has you covered. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or hosting a grand event, French Press is sure to leave you with a lasting impression of culinary excellence and hospitality.“
“If you haven't been at Yafa bakery & cafe, u r missing out! I went today for the first time & I had the most amazing and delicious experience. This is the real authentic Palestinian kitchen & food. Amazing assortment of everything made from the best healthy ingredients. Hand crafted by the owner who's hospitality is graciously inviting. Everything I tried was so wonderful with the real taste that I know from home! I was so overwhelmed, the healthy ingredients, like the cardamom tea or the fresh mint juice or the nuts that are used into these recipes, you will be thankful & happy. Thank you for your hospitality, you made us so happy today. WOW is understatement, will be back!“
“Best coffee shop in spring Hill, and gives everything in Davis a run for their money easy. Always a line out the door on weekends and deservedly, but they move fast. Great pepper biscuits, great yogurt. BLT is weirdly bad but the turkey sandwich is great.“
“I kid you not - one of the best breads I've had in a while. There's a reason why people wait in line for this place. (Don't worry the lines aren't too long and go pretty quickly). I bought some croissants and a Demi baguette - it was foolish of me to think I'd wait till I was home to eat the baguette! Worth the visit and can't wait till I'm back! Also can't wait to try the coffee bar next door...“
“I went for the raving reviews but I found this place perfectly adequate. The cream of wheat was indeed the star of the show. It came quickly and hot, but then it was about a 45-50 minute wait for our mains. We went on a Sunday morning so maybe this is as slammed as they get but I wouldn’t recommend if you are super hungry. It also took about 20 minutes to get a table, but you can put your name on a wait list and they have free coffee outside which is a nice touch. The mains were decent… far from the best breakfast I’ve ever had but it was fine enough. Also heads up if you’re visiting from out of town/out of country it’s cash or venmo only.“
“This is a must stop whenever I visit Boston. Forget the north end canolli wars, Third Cliff pastries are the best. I first went in for the coffee, now I find the pastries bring me back.Vegetarian options: They also have Vegan and GF alternatives.Parking: There is short term parking but typical Boston challenges, it's worth it.“
“Love Kneads More Sprinkles! Our go-to for birthday cookies and cupcakes. Katie responds quickly, is thorough in her planning, and so talented! Everything tastes delicious too! We loved our most recent cookies and cupcakes for my daughter's 4th birthday party. Looking forward to ordering again!“
“I have been to Japonaise for nearly 3 decades and all other locations they used to own. This little gem is operated by Takeo and his mom. Pure labor of love. Takeo works as primary baker. Everything here are delicious from breads, pastries, cakes, and some savory - Japanese delicacies. Takeo works very very long hours everyday making all of these. Wonderful folks. Asuki cream is my all time favorite.“
“Four cakes in 3 years from Weesh, all have exceeded expectations. Elyse is incredibly talented and wonderful to work with. She recently made my son the most incredible Cars themed cake for his birthday. The most unique part about Weesh is that she decorates with buttercream which tastes so much better than fondant! The cakes still look gorgeous and bonus, every cake is as delicious as it is beautiful.“
“Exquisite pastries. The hazelnut cream, the tarte au citron were 2 of my favorites. The meringue on the tarte was so airy, the hazelnut flavor light and moreish. Coffee eclairs have a depth of flavor...and well the chocolate fondant and cake were all one could expect. Very buzzy at 11 am and service with a smile!“
“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“
“15/10.Not only was their packaging super cute and on point. It makes a great gift to give to anyone - or yourself. Lol. If you want a classic macaron, GO HERE!!!!The tops are that perfect soft crunch - Where it melts into that soft chewiness from shell to shell when you go to bite in. dI will definitely be coming here again. . .PS - Try the Mac Cookie!“
“What an amazing new addition to this neighborhood! The savory cheese and spinach pastry was to die for. The raspberries babka was amazing, just sweet enough. The bread was light and airy. The indoor setting is modern, perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and work. The staff is kind and attentive. Highly recommend!!“
“I’ve been ordering online for awhile and the sandwiches were always great. Figured I’d finally stop in when I was in the neighborhood and BOY! so pleasantly taken aback by the friendly staff, a super cute space, and delicious looking pastries to choose from. I often ordered the fancy croissants that had interesting flavors, seems like they always do at least one, but I also tried a cake slice (bar? tart?) I dont know. It was great. Gluten free cherry situation. I definitely would not have normally steered that way but the staff member suggested it and it was great! As for the sandwiches, they’re the tastiest and cheesy deliciousness you want for brekkie. What more could you want? Go there, but don’t make the queue too long for me lolol jk.“
“Best bakery we've been to in the Boston area. Everything we've tried has been excellent, but I highly recommend the ancient grain sourdough, the feta twist and the croissants. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly.“
“This is a cozy little bakery in Newton. There are a good variety of pastries and cakes offered. You don't need to order cakes ahead of time, as there were several on display and available when we went. Staff were friendly, plenty of street (metered) parking. Decent prices and the things we tried were delicious. The cookies and cream cake looked good and tasted great. The lobster tail was of decent size and the cream filling was excellent and not overly sweet or bland. I'd come here again for cakes and pastries.“
“We are on vacation for spring break and decided to try Thyme Restaurant in Canton. Our food was so good. I had the cauliflower wrap and the fattoush salad. Loved the freshness, the taste! One of the owners gave us a sample of their feta dip with pita chips that were baked not fried. This was to die for. They make everything fresh and from scratch. Including their desserts!!! If you haven’t tried them, you are missing out! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower wraps, hummus, wonderful salads!“
“This is the best neighborhood bakery/coffee shop I’ve ever been to. The staff is all very quick and friendly, also they have incredible plants and records for sale!Dietary restrictions: Nut free bakery. They have a ton of gluten and dairy free items that are out of this worldKid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Was on crutches and staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Was easy to get in and out of“
“This is a little bakery that doesn't have seats to sit and enjoy your meal, it's take and go. Don't let that stop you from dropping in and grabbing a bite to eat. This place is delicious and totally worth your time. You can taste the love and passion in the food.“
“I stopped in here with a friend after a long walk and I'm so glad we went here. We got there not too much before closing, but they were just as friendly and accommodating as if we got there first thing. They have a ton of options, including plenty for vegetarians and vegans. I got the breakfast burrito (as I am seemingly always craving one) and my friend got the caprese. I was tempted by the treats they had in the display case, but we opted just to get our sandwich/burrito. Our food came out quickly and was perfectly made. I really appreciated that the egg in my burrito was bodega-style which made it so much less messy to eat. My friend practically devoured her sandwich; she thought the maple balsamic was so tasty and the veggies and pesto were really fresh. She has food allergies and was really happy with how much they laid out what was and wasn't in the food. They had convenient parking and plenty of outdoor tables. I will definitely come back when I'm in town.“
“I love Verrill Farm. I'm a regular here. The chicken quesadilla is my go to Deli order and it is amazing. And the guac is deeeelightful. I also love buying produce and meat here. The quality is substantially higher than my local grocery stores. More importantly, the people are really friendly and they've helped me with special requests on multiple holidays. I'm really lucky to live near Verrill.“
“Incredible little bakery and cafe with wide selection of delicious pastries, specializing in croissants, with frequently rotating specials, and delicious drinks. Staff are friendly and quick and the atmosphere is vibrant and lively. Hand pies and savory croissants are my favorites, but the scones and sweet croissants are also to die for!“
“Ilona and Irina are the best!!! We loved working with the Solodko team for our wedding. The wedding cake they created far exceeded what we hoped for (and the cake was what I was most excited about outside marrying my person and being with loved ones!). Ilona was extremely responsive, creative, thoughtful and enthusiastic throughout the entire process. Our cake was not only breathtakingly beautiful, but tasted amazing. I had many people rave about their cake to me at the reception, and even one dear friend who shared she had three slices! Even though the cake was bigger than the number of folks attending, there were no leftovers.I could not recommend Solodko more highly. The cake was stunning and delicious and the experience working with the Solodko team could not have been more positive. They’re the best for wedding cakes (and macaroons, and event cakes, and everything else they do so well!!).Solodko is a central, wonderful part of our favorite wedding planning and reception memories. We love the Solodko team and were fortunate and proud to work with them again for another joy-filled cake for our baby shower.Wedding planning can be overwhelming and stressful and working with the team at Solodko was smooth, supportive and fun. You’ll not only be so thrilled with your showstopper cake, you’ll gain friends for life!!“
“So good! Nice range of flavors. We had a milk chocolate and a lemon poppyseed today after a free sample of cinnamon sugar. The waffles looked amazing - definitely have to try next time. Staff were so friendly and the space is cheerful and bright.“
“I’ve forgotten what hummus is supposed to taste like. Had their hummus recently at the hour of one of their regular customers. I live 40min away and I’ll go out of my way to get their hummus. Baked goods are delicious. Good array of near east products that my Egyptian mother-in-law likes to cook with. Friendly and helpful staff. Can’t wait to try the shawarma next time, there’s a couple tables to sit and eat at.“
“Great bakery, with great people. I don't like scones but I love them here. Phenomenal birthday cakes made to order (they were nice enough to do mine on short notice, thank you!). Definitely worth a stop.Kid-friendliness: Great and original kids birthday cakes made to order.“
“The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.“
“This was my first ever Tatte location I went to. It was warm out so I sat outside for a nice view. Got the prosciutto toast with pesto and goat cheese and now it’s my go to Tatte dish. Their honey halva house latte is a must try too - also my go to Tatte drink.“
“**Highly Recommend!!** Overdue "Thank You" to The Icing On The Cake @tiotcma for our absolutely beautiful and unbelievably delicious wedding cake!! It was such a pleasure working with you. Thank you!! (Condakes Wedding, BBCC, 11/20/21).“
“This bakery is a gem! I stumbled upon it and was greeted by mouthwatering scents and friendly staff. Their chocolate croissant was heavenly, and the tart cake was pure perfection. Can't wait to return for more delightful treats! Highly recommend!“
“After having dinner next door, our family walked in out of curiosity. It smelled wonderful inside. It felt warm and friendly. They know quite a few of the customers by name. The cookies are so delicious! Light, fluffy, not too sweet, but with great flavors. Our two kids each got one extra to-go. Thank you! We will be back soon!“
“Had a delicious breakfast scone and iced coffee here while waiting for another contractor to finish work. Nice atmosphere clean facilities and friendly staff. The patrons are something else.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair access“
“The food there was amazing and the person at the cashier who served us was WONDERFUL! He came back to check on us often, he was VERY friendly, and we had a really nice talk. Would definitely come again, huge thank you to him, and indubitably this restaurant should get more than 5 stars.“
“Dessert Works exudes unparalleled kindness, generosity, and professionalism. Their team goes above and beyond to create a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the owner was so quick to offer their services for a fundraiser I was hosting. Not only are their treats delicious, but the generosity displayed in portion sizes and quality is commendable. The seamless and timely process from order to pick up showcases their commitment to customer satisfaction. An exceptional blend of sweet delights and amazing service. I highly recommend Dessert Works to be your choice for your next birthday, event, or just a well deserved day of sweet treats!“
“The baked treats here are absolutely incredible! Our family visits every weekend to get blueberry muffins and fresh quiche. For kids' birthday parties, the cupcakes can't be beat. And for special holiday occasions, the apple and pumpkin pies are outstanding! Igor and his team are also just fantastic people.“
“This tiny small store in Newton Centre serves up several variations of what is now my favorite dessert - mochi donuts. As I was never a big fan of (overly) sweet delights, I've never bothered to try them despite hearing about it until recently at an event. I was truly surprised as I didn't just take a bite BUT finished the whole thing in less than a minute (once again, a pretty big feat for someone who doesn't prefer sweet treats). It wasn't overly sweet like normal donuts and the texture is far more delightful and chewy as much as it was moist. The flavors were potent and quite addicting. I know I will now be visiting quite a bit as the price is also really decent for what you get.Wishing you the best for the rest of the year and an even better 2024! Cheers!“
“Cupcakes were my first introduction to Ware Baking Co., and I was hooked right off the bat. The "Cookie Drop" is the one thing we look forward to every week, and love the personal delivery service. Great holiday gift, or plan your next party!“
“We knew we wanted Magic Bites to cater our family event and we were so pleased that we did! Atilla and Elif were helpful and patient planning the menu and everything was top notch delicious. They knew we had some allergies in the family and they made an extra effort to create large labels with all ingredients. I highly recommend them!!“
“Love this shop so much! we have had multiple cakes made here for special occasions so we decided to put in a special request for my baby shower and they definitely came threw!! it wasn't only beautiful but also delicious and made with love, thank you so much!!“
“This is the ONLY place in Boston/Greater Boston where you can get the real french experience.I was born there and grew up there, this is exactly what you'll find in France. Meaning, it's light, tasty and delicate. These are fluffy. It's not like the american version (heavy, overly sweet, dense). The next best place (french bakery) is in Falmouth MA.The brioche was delicious, pain au chocolat, croissant, MERCI! I'll be back!“
“Tried their California location prior and had a good time so I decided to checkout the one in Boston. It was defiantly good, not too spacious but good for the area. The staff was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The donuts did taste fresh and were really delicious. The fruity pebble donut was my favorite along with the cheese only Korean corn dog!“
“Had a great experience at this local coffee shop. Both of our drinks were absolutely delicious- got the iced strawberry matcha and a plain cold brew. Might be my new favorite cold brew in the area! Also tried the garlic pao de queijo, which came steaming hot and was amazing. 10/10 experience and great atmosphere to get some studying in.“
“Excellent lil shop, excellent service. The croons were out of the world. We have been looking for good quality croons and other than amorino , I didn’t like anything. But now I have a new favourite place. I got 6, I ate two of them because of couldn’t resist it and I couldn’t help but write a positive review about this business. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some high quality croons and coffee ( especially the dirty chai latter )“
“So good that many restaurants in the Boston area resell their cookies without mentioning where they get them. There's sometime for everyone. Our biggest problem is deciding if we should get more of our favorites or sample their amazing variety. The staff is also very nice!“
“A Delightful Culinary Journey at the Armenian BakeryI recently had the pleasure of discovering the culinary treasures at the Armenian Bakery, and I am delighted to share my positive experience with fellow food enthusiasts. The variety of offerings at Sevan Bakery is truly impressive. Whether you have a sweet tooth or a preference for savory delights, there is something to tantalize every palate. The traditional Armenian pastries, transported me to a world of authentic flavors and impeccable craftsmanship.“
