“Have you ever found a spot that surprised you so much you talked about it for the rest of the night? That was this place for us. Phenomenal ramen. Rich flavor with beautiful texture and aroma. Cuisine-level food at local hideaway setting. A true gem.“
“The two gentlemen that served me lunch today were extremely kind and polite, creating an inviting atmosphere among the many film posters that adorned the walls of the restaurant.Sitting at the bar created a warm and inviting atmosphere and her let you peer into their clean and spacious kitchen as they prepare your food fresh. And fellas, let me tell you; the food is PEAK. This is the most delicious ramen I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to almost a dozen ramen places in the Boston area. I almost didn’t want to tell people about this place: it was that good. The takoyaki was good, and for those with dietary restrictions, the vegetarian option was my first choice. I highly recommend it and can’t give the food praise enough.“
“I ordered the classic Isshindo ramen. The flavor of the broth was great and the chashu was very flavorful. There wasn’t too much fat on the meat which made it even better. The staff were nice and the food came out quick. The seating was a little cramped but overall a great place for ramen.“
“One of my favorite places in all of Boston. I've literally had dreams about their Tom Yum soup (although I haven't had anything else on the menu I didn't love, the Tom Yum is just next level). The appetizers are all delicious and the flan for dessert is a must!“
“Great tasting food, large servings, and not pricey at all. We went for dinner at the take out business, and it was crazy busy. Food still came quickly and was hot and made in front of your eyes with fresh ingredients. The spicy dishes still had tons of great flavors, too. For sure a place I will come back “
“Quaint ramen spot located inside Boston’s Chinatown. I would not consider myself a ramen connoisseur, however I felt like this place really delivered! My both was cream and full of depth and flavor. Great spot to try in Boston if you like ramen!“
“Been meaning to try out Chiharu for a while now. Finally got the chance. The food quality is nearly comparable to Fugakyu for much less money. The service was good, it's small space so it was only a couple wait staff so service was good.If you are looking for sushi in the neighborhood and you don't want to pay Fugakyu prices Chiharu is a great option.“
“5☆: It's sometimes difficult to find flavorful vegan food, but this place does a fabulous job. It's a great stop for lunch or any other meal of the day! You can certainly bring a meat eater here and they won't have much to complain about.Came here for lunch and got the kale salad, Malaysian curry noodles, and mala cold noodles. Everything was fresh, packed with flavor, and very nutritious! The mala noodles are mild, so I will have to ask for authentic spicy next time :) I also had the thai green tea, which was delicious. The service was fantastic as well. The proprietor came and checked on us while ordering and was able to answer questions about nut allergies. They also paid attention to special requests while ordering, I asked for my tea to be lightly sweet, and it came out perfect.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan!Dietary restrictions: All allergies are noted, and the staff is knowledgable about what is in each dish, and what is removable.“
“Ramen is absolutely AMAZING!! Very flavor full and filling with lots of options. The place was much smaller than expected and because of the popularity there is usually a line around lunch and dinner time. So it does get pretty crowded but I think it is worth it for the amazing food.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled the vegetarian dishes. I am not vegetation myself But it seemed they had some good options!“
“My No.1 Ramen in great Boston area! I am very picky about ramen. Ganko ramen has great taste and the flavor. I love the shio ramen, and shoyu ramen is good too. The extra crispy karaage is superb! Having a tender and juicy fry chicken is a perfect side dish. Parking is convenient with street parking or parking lots behind the store.“
“I would give this place 5 stars if they had a vegetarian option. Other than that, this place is amazing. Coming here is a whole experience. Ramen was delicious, and the atmosphere inside makes you feel blended with the other guests and staff members. Come early or get ready to make a long line that goes all the way to dunkin.“
“I got the Shoyu Ramen and the cold tea mixed drink. It was great. The ramen came out with the right temp. It wasn't hot enough to burn you, but it was warm enough to heat you up. Perfect ramen for those cold rainy days. The drink was great; you get to taste the tequila without the nasty after taste. I would recommend this place to anyone.Parking: There are streets parking right in front of the restaurant and across the street. There is also a parking lot next to it too.“
“This is a must try ramen spot in the greater Boston area with undeniable quality. The price of a bowl is marginally pricier than other ramen shops in the area when you add the standard fixings but any doubts regarding valve left my body with my first sip of the broth. Everything was perfectly cooked and a real treat to the palate. The menu is shorter so I can’t wait to get to all the items!“
“Highly request trying the Umami ramen bowl first. Perfect blend of ingredients, and I especially liked the kick of the red onion. The sonic boom (yuzu x tonic) drink was great as well.Atmosphere at night feels cool and private with strategically placed lighting.“
“I came here with a friend for dinner. My review is based off that experience. In terms of food, the best food Zuru Zuru does best is the meat. The beef and pork meats are some of the best marinades I’ve tasted. I’ve tried their wagyu ramen and the slices of wagyu are incredible. Even though this is a ramen establishment, I would recommend the beef rice bowl (gyudon) and pork rice bowl (chasu-don). They give a great portion of meat which compliments the rice. The ramen itself is ok. The texture and ramen type aren’t anything special. The broth is also not anything to write home about. It tends to be lightly flavored/seasoned which for some might be a plus, but I tend to like strong flavorsI really like the atmosphere. Their decorations are very colorful and the wall and bathrooms have a ton of murals which complement the ambiance. While on the smaller end for a restaurant, it has a cozy feel. The service was professional and efficient. They don’t do reservation but I typically don’t wait too long when it’s busy, usually at most 20 minutes. The restaurant typically has an open seat but for larger parties, it might take longer.Overall, if you’re looking for a place with great marinated meats, this is the place for you!Parking: Only street parking but it’s free after 7pm on weekdays. There is a garage nearby as well as a T stop called Malden Center which is on the orange line“
“As closest to experiencing Eating Ramen in Japan, in Boston as possible. If you add the basic ingredients, like Pork slices, Egg, and other condiments, a Large-size Bowl of Ramen here costs $25!...as supposed to $10 in the most expensive Ramen places in Japan. It is a rip-off, but Tastes Good!“
“We went to Coco Ramen and they graciously moved us to the neighboring space for a sit down spot since they were full. The service was very fast. We asked what the difference was between the broths and the waitress kindly answered. The spicy ramen bowls were very hearty and tasty and the fried oysters were all right. I would have liked maybe a little more toppings, but overall great food and experience!“
“Their vegetarian ramens are all very good. All the sushi I have gotten has been top-notch fresh and beautifully presented. Very friendly service. My neighborhood ramen place! ??Vegetarian options: You can't go wrong with any of the vegetarian ramens.“
“Great curry here. The delivery fried tofu is no match for the one at the restaurant though. The last time I went in person it was so crisp and delicious and the one I had delivered felt like it was reheated from a fried tofu packet. Please bring back the crispy one it was so good!“
“I had a nice dinner at Sapporo Ramen while I was staying in Brookline. It's an easy walk from the Hilton Garden Inn. I had the Shoyu ramen w/black mushrooms added, and a side of spring rolls. It's not THE BEST ramen I've ever had, but it's pretty darn good, and was exactly what I wanted to warm up from a chilly evening. The server was attentive and knowledgeable about food allergies -- I asked for it without egg due to an allergy and she said all the right things. All in all, I'd eat here again.“
“Had a fantastic bowl of ramen on this place; accompanied by the fried chicken breast with the house bbq sauce and an order of fried Sinai. All delicious. Highly recommend this place. As a solo diner i was in and out in no time. Definitely recommend this place!“
“This is one of my favorite places. Very reasonably priced, quick and quality service, and very relaxing atmosphere. I like to get the garlic noodles with tofu when I come here, such a heartwarming dish and the first time I came here I was giggling to myself because of how happy it made me! :)“
“Went to Pikaichi for dinner with the family after looking at online results. Had a great time. Food was delicious. Will balanced spice, noodles, veggie broth, right temperature, ready to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was great. Very polite staff. Chef thanked all guests. Wait was not to bad. Simple menu. Would definitely recommend for everyone who likes noodles.“
