“The sushi was fantastic. I based going there solely on the google review and it did not disappoint. Specifically, the salmon was amazing. Probably the best sushi grade salmon we have ever had. I wouldn't say the atmosphere is anything out of the ordinary, the service was good even though only one waitress for the number of tables. She was quite attentive and once ordered the food came out fast and presentation was great. If you want good sushi, I highly recommend Matsuba. Probably an excellent take out option and pricing was on par or slightly better than average in my opinion.Parking: There is a lot within a couple minute walk.”
“This little restaurant is incredible. A friend recommended it to me about five years ago. It was about a 50-minute drive from where we used to live to get there. We took the drive to check it out, and we loved the place so much that we continued to make the trip. We moved and now have an hour-and-a-half drive to eat there, yet we still make the drive. If you want excellent food and portions at more than fair prices, check out Nappi's, and I'm sure you'll fall in love as we did.”

“We've passed by this bakery quite a few times and weren't disappointed when finally getting to try it out! They serve a variety of Haitian savory and sweet treats which are bound to satisfy any craving. The interior is pretty small so definitely more of a grab-and-go spot, but felt clean and homey. We got a patty and a cake to share, both of which were pretty delicious! The patty took a bit of time to heat up, but other than that, service was pretty solid. The price wasn't too bad, albeit a bit on the pricier side, and overall, I wouldn't mind coming back to some of their other selections in the future. For a local bakery, definitely worth visiting and supporting!”

“Was staying in Medford, working in Boston for 18 days. The food was so good I ate there 16 of the 18 days I was there.(tried some Italian restaurants while I was there the other 2 nights). Everything I ate was great! The chili was the best I’ve ever ate, the wings were awesome, the loaded nachos, the steak tips, the meatloaf, sweet potato fries, the brussel sprouts, the collard greens, were all great and some of the best southern food I’ve ever ate and I’m from South Alabama! And the drinks were great also. It was my home away from home for 2 1/2 weeks. The atmosphere was very welcoming, Scott, Erin and Sylvia took great care of me. We don’t have places like this down here. 12 out of 10 rating for me! Hope I get to come back and visit. Thanks for making a fella from Tanner Williams, Alabama feel welcome.”

And some of my other usual spots were either too busy or too hard.I liked the fact I could choose the sweetness level which was nice. Did a 30% sugar tea, and got a egg waffle (also recommended)Tasted good, drank the whole tea, and the ice cream was good too. Venue was cute, but nothing mind blowing. The girl who worked the counter was effective.Not a bad spot for a quick fix.”

“The debate is over. This is hands down my favorite thai food place in mass. Yes in all of mass!! Omg its such a hidden gem and I'm actually so mad we waited this long to try. If you're a fan of authentic Thai street food and not just pad thai and tom yum, this is the place. We got the kao mun gai (chicken & rice) and it's delicious! My boyfriend even prefers this more than our usual spot - Hen in Somerville. I got the khao kha moo (braised pork thigh with rice + chinese broccoli and boiled egg) and omg I was on cloud nine!! Can't wait to go back and try more. We were pretty surprised that it was empty inside when we went to pick the food up :( the people working there was sweet as hell too! we love this place so we really hope this review reaches the right audience. The crispy chicken skin app was delicious as well and we got two desserts to try because we couldn't decide which one to get. The fried banana was ok, like sweet egg rolls but the one that captured our heart was the sweet sticky rice with thai custard. Hallelujah it's delicious!!! Not too much at all, though I always love the mango version, this one is pretty dang good and a unique way to elevate the sweet coconuty sticky rice. Will fosho definitely coming back to try other street food dishes on the menu!!”

The garlic bread wasn't anything special but the house salad was a nice little appetizer. The chicken piccata was creamy and lemony and that's exactly what I wanted it to be. I didn't love the little chunks of lemon cooked into the sauce, but I wouldn't list it as a large negative. I really appreciate the simplicity of this place. Wouldn't hesitate to dine in again if I'm in the area.”

“I can't possibly say enough amazing things about this bakery! We discovered it soon after moving to the neighborhood and always loved it: amazing pastries, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and always lovely service.But mostly I came to preach about their custom orders because this month, Danish Pastry House also starred in our wedding weekend twice - first we got a generous and extremely well-priced box of perfect, fresh, flaky pastries for our welcome brunch, and second we got FOUR different cakes for our reception for less than half the price of the cheapest "wedding cake" we looked at. For reference, we got 2 8-inch and 2 10-inch cakes and had many, many, many leftovers from our little 40-person reception, all for a little over $200. We called both orders in and picked them up in-store; super easy.The cakes were so, so good. We had an Othello (yum), a Sachertorte (yum), a Carrot Cake (I thought this would be the least thrilling, but it must have been delicious because it was the only cake that disappeared completely without me getting a bite), and a Passionfruit cake (I'm a chocolate person and wasn't overly excited about this one, but I think that it was probably the best cake I've ever had - it was SO light and tangy, creamy and moist and just absolutely addictive). I spent half the morning after my wedding eating leftover passionfruit cake with a spoon! There are photos of my niece refusing to take another step because she just wants to sit on the floor and finish her cake (pictured here, and I don't blame her)! I lost count of the number of guests who told me it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had! They were that good.I have yet to try anything from this bakery that isn't scrumptious, and I have been consistently happy about the quality and quantity you get for their prices, both in-store and custom orders.”

He asked if I like spicy and told me about the jerk pork. It was perfect. And he was helpful and nice. It is not extensive and rotates daily. So you won't be able to browse it online before heading there expect if you are on their Facebook page (the chef posts daily pics of the menu there which, is an excellent idea).Now for the nitty-gritty: you can sample some top-notch, authentic Portuguese fare. From bacalhau and octopus dishes all the way to some of best steaks in area. Brazilian dishes are also featured.Cold beer (bottled only) and Portuguese wines are widely available.If you are a sports fan, specially those who love soccer (European - Portuguese in particular and Brazilian), this place, along with the food and cold beer could be your heaven.”

“Door Dash delivers to the city (hot, cold, or frozen), which is a dangerous thing to have discovered! The pies are packed with big chunks of very good white meat chicken, so they’re more filling than most. They’re also not too salty. The portions are really solid, too. A pie that says it’s 6 servings fed us exactly 6 servings. They were wonderful when I called about a food allergy, too.”

“Paul Revere Restaurant is a step back in time (in the best way) to old-fashioned diner style eating. I had to Two Lanterns and some hot coffee. The plate was super filling and delicious while being a no-frills joint. Prices were very reasonable, and you can tell a lot of diners were regulars based on their conversations with staff. Our waitress was great, and consistently checked in and topped our coffee off. We're already planning our visit back!”

“Tried out The Porch last night and was so pleasantly surprised! There was a live band playing so the ambiance was great. They had run out of hush puppies so we got the honey butter biscuits instead and they were great. We got a brisket tray and a rib tray, each came with 2 sides, and split everything. There was not a single disappointment in the bunch, everything was amazing! I thought Smoke Shop was my favorite bbq in Boston but The Porch just took its spot. Can't wait to come back!”

“Picked up from this place for dinner and it was alright. We also drive by this place every week but never really noticed it until today and decided to give it a try since we're in a sushi mood. We got sushi duh and they're ok, no complaints except for the spicy scallop makis (they tasted a lil odd). We gave this place a 4/5 because 1. their spicy chicken wings aint spicy, it's saucey and sweet and we didn't know how to feel. 2. the spicy avocado salad which I was excited for, had more cucumbers than anything else (I was craving imitation crabmeat:( ) and yea it's a place that doesn't really focus on serving sushi & just Japanese cuisine. They also offer Chinese and Thai and Pan Asian dishes so next time, when we're in the mood for solidly sushi, we'd try another place.”

“Fantastic food and a careful, attentive owner/manager. My husband and I have come just a couple of times but it was totally worth it both times. This time we got Sichuan dumplings, cumin lamb, sliced pork in special sauce, Sichuan green beans, and garlic bok choi. I can't pick a favorite because they were all so good in their own ways. The dumplings were different from the standard version you get in America, steamed/boiled and they came in a delicious savory and slightly sweet soy-based sauce. Everything was freshly prepared and hot - the garlic bok choi was especially steaming hot. It's really amazing to get that kind of service at most restaurants since many places will have your food waiting for a bit before the server brings them to you. The owner/manager was considerate and attentive. I loved watching the Chinese acrobatics show on the TV in the back too!”
“Got three platters of sushi with spring rolls and gyoza for big delivery order. Everything was there, tasted good, and on time, very reliable. One of the few sushi places that do delivery! Owner was also very nice and considerate with suggesting items and getting details correct.”

“I grew up in Medford so Pinkys has always been sort of a meme. Recently my out of town friends ordered Pinkys and I had my initial reservations, but to my surprise the pizza was pretty good. I've since gotten a few specialty pizzas and it's been a positive experience everytime. Now I recommend to Medford people who thinks it's a joke.”

We were in the Medford area and wifey had never tried so this was a must although she went against my advice and didn't get their torta and got the quesadilla. I like the buffet-style way of ordering the food, in particular since they are the ones that put the food in a container which is MUCH more sanitary than a buffet. The food is tasty and hot and I have not had trouble finding a seat to eat.”
“This is a nice simple restaurant with no frills. I ate the chicken piccata with a house side salad and garlic bread. The garlic bread wasn't anything special but the house salad was a nice little appetizer. The chicken piccata was creamy and lemony and that's exactly what I wanted it to be. I didn't love the little chunks of lemon cooked into the sauce, but I wouldn't list it as a large negative. I really appreciate the simplicity of this place. Wouldn't hesitate to dine in again if I'm in the area.”
“I recommend nothing after seeing how terribly they treated a customer this afternoon at the medford sq location. guy came in to pickup pre-ordered cake that was paid for. he was told they didn't have the cake. no apology, no offer deliver cake in the morning.....NOTHING. THE customer finally asked for the only 2 cakes left which were much smaller than cake ordered. he wanted happy birthday written on the cakes and was told it couldn't be done....not sure why. 30 minutes before closing time. the beaten down guy said...I'll take those 2 cakes in replace of the cake I ordered that you failed to make. I was literally floored when the kid behind counter said ...we can't just give you those cakes. you have to pay for them. this could have been handled so many ways better. and again, not one we are sorry. none of the stuff here is anything great...the guy should have went and got a cake at the grocery store. when businesses mistreat and disrespect their customers that's it for me. modern pastry is a small business....I've seen customers treated much better at wal.art and Costco. shame on modern pastry”
