“I’ve always enjoyed solbean and I definitely will never stop going there for their smoothies, but recently Ive experienced poor service. I ordered ahead and had to wait 15 extra minutes. But the store was practically empty, no one was ordering, and no one was making anything or even behind the counter. When I got up to say something, I saw that my order was already being made, but it looks like the person just gave up or walked away on my order for at least 10 minutes. However, after mentioning it to the only worker behind the counter, she got right to my order and made it!“

“The Northshore breakfast sandwich is purely addicting and has become my occasional goto. However, I do feel that they get their counter staff from the RMV reject pile. If I'm paying $18 for a really good breakfast sandwich and a very average cold brew, I do not think it's too much to ask for a smile and to be thanked for my business. I was standing with three other customers and we were all in agreement.“

“I can’t recommend this bakery highly enough! They make absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes for special occasions. I ordered a dino themed cake and a mermaid cake for my daughter’s past two birthdays and everyone was so impressed! So much detail was put into the decorations.“

“I'm obsessed with their quiche and if you call 48 hours ahead of time (I've even gotten away with less), you can pre-order a whole one. This is my new superpower. The menu has a lot of variety, and the prices are really good for the amount of food you get. I highly recommend visiting if you get the chance!Parking: There is free street parking along that main road. “My wife and I found this place in late 2022, and were about to order our 6th cake with them since. They are so above and beyond and very gracious. The cakes are like art work and they have such creativity. You live locally to the northshore and particularly the Beverly- Salem area.. this is the place to make your desserts.“

However, after eating one of the enormous, not too sweet, not too salty cookies; I realized that these cookies were miles beyond their competitors. They were thick, full of mini m&ms, slightly crunchy at the edges, perfectly cooked: yum. It's more of an experience than a cookie. In conclusion, the items at Sweet Spot are worth every penny.“

“I recently held my sons birthday party here and had a great experience.I thought they offered a very reasonable package which included 2 lovely hosts, arts & crafts supplies for baker hats, cookies & ice cream flavors a la carte and the chance to bake & decorate 3 take home cookies each. “I came here for breakfast on a Saturday with 2 other people around 10am or so, and we had a great breakfast. By the time we arrived the restaurant was already full, but we waited about 20-25 minutes and got a table. The service was great and the food came out impressively fast so we were very happy. The food was great and we all loved our meals.I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, someone else ordered an Omelette, and someone else ordered the Pumpkin Pancakes (seasonal option) with a side of bacon. Everything was great.We learned that the best bet is to call ahead for a table so you can skip the wait-list, so we will do that in the future. The Blue Moon Grill is a simple but awesome restaurant with great food and service. I'd like to try lunch here sometime too.“

“Sweet Java is hidden gem in Swampscott over in the Vinnin Plaza area. Everyone is always so friendly, there’s a great vibe and you can tell the people who work there really care. The drinks are make perfectly and the food is always delicious.“

I believe they make their gluten-free items in a separate facility, but they have a lot of gluten items out and about next to them. It was a Monday morning (about 730am) and I ordered ahead. I arrived 10 minutes after my pickup time, and yet my order wasn't ready. Also, there seemed to only be one person working (supporting the long line of cars in the drive through) and it was 5-10 minutes before anyone came up front to help me and the others waiting in line. “I really love the family friendly environment. I usually take the kids on Fridays and always feel welcome. My kids love the food! Especially the chicken tenders and pasta on the kids menu! So it makes take out for a busy sports mom easy! The restaurant is spacious and I can’t wait to see it with the new expansion in the works!
