“This is a horrible place to catch up with out of town friends...Because every amazing bite of the food forces you to silence, to savoring each flavor and spice. You can't think of anything else apart from the taste. Even the crumbs left on the table that I of course didn't stick in my mouth...The care and excitement for the food is admirable, you can tell everything is handmade and thoughtful. I was very lucky to be a guinea pig for one of their menu experiements; maybe it will be called "Toasted Apples Delight" and maybe one day you'll be able to try it too one day. ;)“

“I rarely leave reviews, but felt I needed to for our first experience at Ithaki. We dined yesterday, which was Greek Easter. It was also my birthday, so no cooking! lol Made a reservation for 4, but at the last minute, my 92 year old mother felt up to joining us - she hasn't been interested in going out much lately, so we spent the morning with her. We were thrilled, and decided to chance it, hoping they could add a fifth to our reservation. It was crazy busy, but the staff really worked hard to accommodate us, and did so in a very timely manner. We were most grateful. The decor is beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was superb, even on this very busy day. They even included red eggs! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon.“

“I was around the area and was craving for some Ice Cream - so what did I do? Open Yelp and looked for the closest one to me and has at least 4 Stars reviews- You already know what popped up first - Holy Cow Ice Cream ! I pulled into their parking lot on a drizzly 7pm evening - and have no idea what I wanted . At the same time , I don't want to be standing there looking at the 25+ of flavors that they had . Surely enough- I said to myself, ima have the worker pick for me ! So I said to the girl with a gray sweater, tied pony tail- "idk what I want, can you surprise me ?!" - she didn't hesitate or think twice or question anything (other then do I want it in a cup, cone, etc and I picked waffle cone)- and I'm glad she didn't ask me anything more than that because I STILL didn't know what I wanted lol! . She ranged me up, and did her thing . I also overheard her coworker asked if she wanted her to do it instead- she said no- she will surprise me . I waited approximately 3 min- she handed me a big WARM ice cream cone. I'm going to go ahead and say that waffle cone was freshly made. She gave me two scoops of something which had chunks of caramel squares and chocolate, vanilla, chocolate chip. It tasted a bit like butterscotch and something else . The bottom of the waffle cone had chocolate squares and mini chocolate chips and oh. My. Goodness. It was the most delicious ice cream I've ever had ! Kudos to the girl who "Surprised Me" with this ice cream on April 10th at 7pm ! I'll never know this flavor . lol And I'll probably say the same thing when I come back“

“Great Thai every time, will be back. The scallion pancakes are exceptional-- one of the best around for miles. The veggie pad Thai is also amazing, I went for lunch. Large portions on the pad Thai lasted 3 meals for me. Reasonable prices and decent ambience, kind and friendly service that doesn't miss anything. Try the Thai tea-- $2.50 and comes with a very cute tea cup and teapot!“

“Where shall I begin? I love this place, my GO TO restaurant in the area. The food is great, the drinks are delicious and the staff rocks. First, you'll start off with a crisp glass of water with an old school design on the glass--Ronald McDonald, Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, etc. With each sip, you'll be taken back to the Looney Tunes Era and then some. Next, you'll want to check out the drink menu. I have tried a variety of them and highly recommend: 3-9-7 (Vodka-Sweet & Delicious), Brockman Blues (Gin & delicious), In My Gin Era (Gin), Lemon Drop Martini (Upon request), & the El Diablo (House infused Tequila-if you're into spice) YUM! If you're not into cocktails, they have numerous canned/bottled beers and my favorite, a rotating draft beer list! Staff allows you to taste test a couple of the beers, which is helpful. For apps, the Elote Corn Dip, Nachos, BBQ/Buffalo/Sweet Chili chicken tenders, and Buffalo cauliflower are all so tasty! For dinner, I highly recommend the following: Buffalo Chicken Flatbread (GF or nonGF) Asian Short Rib Steak Tips Swordfish Piccata (Plate changes seasonally) Classic Baked Haddock My mouth is watering thinking about all of these options! The pistachio flavoring was off, a bit too pistachio-y, if that's even possible. But the chocolate peanut butter hit the spot. Hubby got the milk & cookies & that was yummy too. “My husband and I came here on a date night and we loved it! The ambiance is cozy and the waitress we had was very polite and accommodating, even though we came on a night with bad weather. I got the queen of hearts cocktail which was quite good. We also got the hummus as an appetizer which was super tasty. For mains, we got the chicken kabob plate and Atlantic grilled salmon. They were both great, but the salmon was amazing! For dessert we had the baklava and we both thought it was the best baklava we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back and recommend to others!“

“I stopped in for a quick take away smoothie which turned into also getting a sandwich! They are def a quality shop. Lot of other reviews comment on the price, which is why you get what you pay for. I got the chocolate smoothie which was delicious, the worker in there explained they use natural ingredients, etc and it tasted pure. I dropped it accidentally and they made a new one quickly and would not let me help clean. Very great service! The chicken shawarma sandwich was a special and it was so good. “Stopped in for a quick bite early Saturday afternoon. We got the buffalo wings to start. Salmon Caesars and killer nachos for entrees. Holy cow those nachos could feed a table of 10! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the ceasar bed was fresh and delicious, not too much dressing or croutons. We joked with our waiter to bring an army to help finish our meals and he politely went along with it. The owner even made an appearance to check on us and ensure we were enjoying ourselves.I was a little disappointed to not see more Irish faire on the menu but their selection was immense and their was plenty to satisfy anyone's palate, including your picky eaters. “Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. We were both the most satisfied we have ever been at any restaurant. The lobster pieces in our mac and cheese and grilled cheese were very fresh and tasty. Also, the servers were all incredibly sweet and friendly. Truly wonderful service. If you are in Salem at any point, you must try this place. You need to. No exceptions.
