“My husband and I get our daughter an icecream cake every year here for her birthday... Every year they have done an amazing job!!!! But this year.... They absolutely outdid themselves!!!! My daughter asked for a Jojo Siwa cake and boy did they deliver!!!! They didn't have a picture for Jojo Siwa and asked if I could email them the picture I wanted. Which was super easy!!! The woman I spoke to was so sweet!!! (I think she said Tina was her name?) I emailed the picture right over and they had it done in no time.... When I saw it I was absolutely in love!!! But When my daughter saw the cake she started happy crying saying how beautiful it came out and how it was better than what she had ever dreamed of.... She said it was the best cake she has ever had!!! Thank you guys so much for making her birthday extra special!!! ❤”

The cons: prices have gone up (totally understandable considering the horrible economy we are in) and service can be a little slow, but keep in mind that they do not have a lot of staff working so if you happen to go during peak hours (like Father's or Mother's Day), plan to be there for a little while. The food was absolutely delicious: traditional, flavorful, hearty Brazilian cuisine made with that unmistakable homemade touch. Everything felt authentic and full of love, without being overly fancy or pretentious.

The prices were fantastic, especially for the quality and generous, satisfying experience. But what really made the visit special were the owners and servers. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly, which made the whole meal feel even more personal.

If you’re looking for real, traditional Brazilian food in a cozy, rustic, family-style setting, Sabor de Minas—also known as Restaurante da Cassia—is a must-visit. It’s the kind of place you leave feeling full, happy, and a little nostalgic for grandma’s cooking.

“I honestly don’t know how this place isn’t packed all day long, the amount of food and steak you can get is so amazing and makes me wonder how on earth are they able to serve up the amount of steak 🥩 they serve at such a low cost and this steak is fresh cooked on skewers on a grill in front of you . You can go anywhere else to get a steak meal and easily spend $30/$40 bucks but here it’s $25 bucks all you can eat steak wow I love this place and visit often. We leave 40 minutes away but still drive to get their pizza and desserts. The customer service is great and the pizza is amazing.

“My family and I were looking for a new and unique buffet to go to, although it was an hour drive, the hour was worth it! The owner welcomed us with a happy and bright smile. You can really see he loves his Job. The food was filling and I was surprised on the amount of options they had, they had a variety for everyone, even in ice cream too! I left feeling filled and satisfied. The second time I went the food was just as good and I would say this was the best experience I have had at an all you can eat buffet.
