“We love the food here. Everything is wonderfully seasoned and carefully prepared. when we lived locally we got takeout from Lilac House at least once a month. we now live in New Hampshire and I make special trips to Millis just to get egg rolls, crab Rangoon, mooshi, fried rice, and ginger chicken with string beans. Everything I have eaten there is delicious!“

“Thought the waiter was top notch, we had 14 people in our party, a few provided feedback on what they ordered. The fish tacos were underwhelming, lacked flavor as did the chicken Marcello which was very bland. The fish and chips were a big surprise, large portion of fish, rather than the typical large portion of fries! My seafood with angle hair pasta was good, but a bit too much oil, and scollops were slightly over cooked, but I would order it again.“

“Delicious food! So many good choices it was hard to decide. "Fire and Ice" with chicken, shrimp carbonara, chicken calabria were all yummy. Delicious infused vodka and some "unusual suspects" for beers. Food and drinks came quickly and food was steaming hot. Would definitely come again. “We really enjoy their early bird specials. Peter loves the double tacos: shrimp and fish both fried along with a cup of white clam chowder. My favorite is the Boston baked haddock with cold slaw along with the white clam chowder. We both had the included lemon cake with fresh whipped cream. This might sound strange, but their cold filtered water is wonderful! Every meal there that we have had has been excellent!“

There are many cities providing live catches to local buyers in Eastern MA. Capt. Marden's sources the best fish, regardless of who caught it.A lot of people do not realize how many of the finest restaurants source their seafood from Captain Marden's too. “As soon as you sit down, the pleasant and helpful staff asks if you would like popcorn. They had pork tenderloin teriyaki on their special menu, which came with mashed potatoes and broccoli, because I wanted a delicious meal. Everything was excellent; the sauce went nicely with the succulent pork. The broccoli was still extremely fresh, but I wish it had additional butter or flavor.“

“We have dined here many times, but hadn't been in a while. We made a reservation and requested to sit in the bar area. We were so happy as the table was reserved when we got there. The food, drinks, and our server were all excellent. I have never had a bad meal here or walked away thinking we should have gone elsewhere. We will be back soon.“

“Went to Burtons Bar & Grill in Framingham for dinner tonight. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed!! Our waiter, Gustavo, was excellent and very knowledgeable about celiac. I felt 100% safe. I ordered the Orchard Sangria which was like fall in a cup!! We split the Point Judith Calamari which we both enjoyed (even my non-celiac husband said he couldn’t tell it was GF). For my meal I got the Mediterranean Chicken Risotto. It was DELICIOUS! One of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time! We will definitely be back, even though it’s a 40+ minute ride, it’s worth it!“

“A complete dissapointment. Was served burned rice, when asked to have it replaced was served undercooked, mostly white and still partially burned rice (see picture of second attempt). Order #2, beef lo mein, had almost no beef. Order #3, beef brocolli (take home) rice was undercooked. All three dishes laked flavor. Been there before and the quality has deteriorated greatly.“

“My first time visit was amazing. Our food was served hot and delicious. The fried clams were served perfectly and the onion rings are the best I've had in a while. The tartar sauce is absolutely outstanding. Service was friendly, very much a family and welcoming atmosphere. “Yesterday I celebrated my birthday in Los Cabos, I want to emphasize that everything went well, however there are small details that could be improved to provide a 5-star service.I made the reservation for 11 people a week in advance, despite this, when we arrived we had to wait a couple of minutes to prepare the table. The waiter took our drink order but forgot to give us the glasses of water, which took about 15 minutes.One of my friends brought a cake and although it is true that I eat slowly, the waiter arrived with the cake when I had not finished dinner yet and I had to let them take my plate.As is common in restaurants to offer a candle for the cake, my friend didn't bring one but the restaurant didn't have a candle either, so singing the birthday didn't make much sense.Finally and as a recommendation, I think it would be a better experience if you wear a mariachi hat for the birthday child or do something more fun when singing.For all these reasons, I rated my experience as 4 stars since the food was delicious, it's a shame I didn't finish my dinner.“

“Expertly prepared seafood! Grilled foods are cooked to perfection always! Outstanding pizza varieties. Salads are always freshly bedded with crispy lettuce with premium ingredients atop! Subs are excellent, and the pasta dinners could potentially feed two. The entire menu is a gastronomical dream come true for this type of fare! I can wholeheartedly recommend the fried haddock with extra crispy fries or the grilled steak and chicken combo with crispy fries plus a side of their tasty rice! Prices can be a little more than pre-covid days but honestly, for the quality of the food and the speed of service I have no problem paying a little more, besides, we get to support a local business and that I believe is important during these trying times! “A friend and I went there tonight. We both got the all you can eat. We ate more than we should have but that's what all you can eat is all about, trying to get your moneys worth. We got that and some. Everything we had was incredible. Our server Izzy was fantastic, he added a great part to our experience. They have great food and a great staff. I highly recommend them.“

“Patrick was extremely nice and friendly and has amazing service. He has served us a few times and each time the service is outstanding. He has a great personality with a personal touch and engages wonderfully with his quests. He had us laughing and remembering our past visits. “We were in the area today (1/13/24) and found this restaurant online. The atmosphere was a flashback to the diners of old, which we loved. The food was good as well. What really impressed us was the server. This young lady was the best server we have had in many years.“

Delicious chowders, especially the seafood chowder that has lobster, shrimp, fish, clam and is soooo good! They have daily lunch specials and food for the non seafood loving population. Awesome chili cheese dogs! Huge ice cream selection. Classic drinks like a raspberry lime rickey or root beer floats. Restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly. You can pay with a card but bring cash to tip. Those behind the counter work hard. Especially the ice cream scooping, multitasking, order taking and grabbing counter staff. Kitchen has always been consistent for the years I've been going. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend!“

“It's just a nice little seafood place in the area. Was in town for an event at the local Marriott, and it took me a while to find this place, as their listing is not very clear on Yelp. It's much better on other platforms. We had nine of us, and we ordered most of the items on the menu. Great all-around seafood options. I went with the grilled captains seafood platter, shrimp, scallops, and Haddock. some of the others went with lobster rolls and others with fish dishes. I started with the Calamari, which was just perfectly fried. Clam strips and an order crab rangoon. nicely fried in a fresh oil and not really loving the crab Rangoon.Then, an order of clam chowder. Needed something. It could have used a little more flavor and more clams. Our wait staff was excellent! made sure we had everything our large party needed and a full restaurant.“

“They are all so nice and friendly. The food is usually fresh, but every once in a while we get something that we can tell had been sitting. We love the tempura and the sauteed vegetables. “Bamboo Express has now ownership and is one of my go to's for local Chinese food. The young lady behind the counter is very friendly as she is usually multitasking. They do a lot of takeout and delivery. Some of their food is phenomenal like the Egg Foo Young, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef and Mushrooms. Their appetizers are pretty solid. Egg Rolls are the cabbage type. I'm more of an old school celery based type. Hot and Sour Soup has nice flavor but sometimes I need to add a little heat. Overall it is a solid takeout restaurant. I have not dined in since the new management. I do recommend!“
