We visited Zaftigs for lunch meeting up with a friend that recommended it to us. We first started out with Matzoh Ball soup (O.M.G. it was amazing, better than mom's... sorry), and 2 meat filled Knishes, wow so good. Then ordered the challah french toast and fake maple syrup, a little disappointed that it wasn't the real thing but no worries, still delicious. The Reuben was phenomenal I can't tell you how delicious that tasted! Can't wait to go back!!
This place is as good as the original. If you are going for breakfast, they don't open until 9 am. I was meeting someone there and both of us assumed a restaurant that served breakfast would open earlier! Oh well...should have checked their hours.

The food was excellent, service and atmosphere are a little lacking. The waitress brought the check, we didn't asked for it yet. We were not done. And when i then asked to split the bill it seemed to be a hassle. Again had she waited, we would have told her.
