“I have visited Organic Buzz Cafe in Norfolk several times and I love exploring their incredibly delicious and very healthy offerings. Whether stopping in for a quick coffee or a bite to eat, it is always a satisfying and indulgent experience. I tried the Pick-Me-Up smoothie and it was very tasty. I also recommend the Almond Acai bowl, which has blueberries, banana, and granola. Their healthy sandwiches and baked goods are so unique and delectable too. The best part of Organic Buzz is knowing that they serve only the freshest, healthiest items. The staff are super friendly too. Definitely check them out! They’re next to River’s Edge condos on Rt. 115 in Norfolk.“

The dog-friendly brewery had plenty of parking and a relaxed vibe with a large selection of their great tasting beers and seltzers. We drove from Boston special for the visit and we’re glad that we did.“

7th Wave Brewing Brewery • $$
120 N Meadows Rd, Medfield - 5.13 miles

“Awesome brewery. The beer is great, my favorites so far have been Betty Witte and the Don’t Stop the Dance raspberry sour. The wood fired pizza is amazing, so tasty with amazing dough, a few unique options also. Swine with Seoul (kimchi, pork belly pizza) is top notch. The owner and staff are very friendly, dogs are more than welcome. The inside is a bit small, but there’s a large outdoor area for when it’s nice out. Totally recommend this place to any beer/pizza lover! I’ll be back many more times.“

A great improvement in architecture and the ice cream is still delicious. Diamond Hill Vineyards Wineries • $$
3145 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland - 10.64 miles

“Diamond Hill Vineyards is one of those places that are so great to go to that you almost want to keep to yourself because if you tell other people it's going to get so crowded that you won't be able to get a table anymore to enjoy the beautiful grounds and tasty wine they have there. I've been going there for a few years now and the hosts are so accommodating it's like they treat you like family. The wines are so tasty and different. My favorite is the cranberry/ apple. It's tart and sweet at the same time. Get yourself over there this fall when it's the perfect time to experience this place or book your event there. They can accommodate your parties with a huge tent and tables and chairs. Bring some cheese and crackers and stick sausage and have a ball. Kids and dogs are more than welcome too. Plenty of free parking. See you there!!“

“Checked out Maha Juice Bar in Norwood as part of a Yelp event and it wasn't bad but it's not something I'd drive out of my way for either. The offerings are limited and overpriced considering it's over $10 for a ham and egg and cheese plus another $10 for a smoothie that was super thick and had to melt before it was drinkable and left me with extreme heartburn so I never finished the orange, pineapple coconut smoothie. Actually, I didn't even eat more than a few bites of the sandwich because whatever cheese was on it didn't really go well with and I wasn't really in the mood for breakfast at the time. Overall, I did like the that everything is served in a sturdy to go box that keeps it warm...I had to wait 15 minutes before I could eat it because it was too hot ‍ Servers were very attentive and offered suggestions when asked what their favorites were. #caitlinscleaneats #4yearyelpelite“

“Always great food, cooked to order, no microwaves! My all time favorite is their flagship sandwich, “The Commonwealth.” Piled high with freshly pulled pork, some pieces bigger than others, some with the delicious bark that defines great smoked pork. I love the optional cranberry habanero sauce on the side. Considering the sandwich has over a pound of pulled pork, plus a side ( I traditionally get fries, my wife likes the creamy Mac and cheese), not a bad deal for under $13 with tax.“

“Ok, when I read the reviews about the Hellfire Ramen being spicy, I thought it was the kind of spice I could handle. Nope. I know, it’s my fault, but we learn from experiences, right? My partner ordered mild (I would order this next time, BUT do not order if you don’t like spicy, and don’t be like me and ignore the reviews, Ok? Ok) I ordered level 2 and I SUFFERED. I was crying. I had almost all of it though hahah! It was delicious, will just order something less spicy next time and will let you guys know!“

“Quaint place to have breakfast and the place was busy. Portions were a good size. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and you can watch the small planes take off and land. The eggs Benedict dish was great -poached eggs were perfect- and there was a nice sized piece of ham below the eggs. Side of bacon was delicious- good flavor and crisp without being overcooked. Hash browns were over peppered and not crisped. The omelet was dry, and so was the toast. The eggs of the omelet were overcooked, and there was a single pat of butter between two slices of toast. Leaving the rest of the toast extremely dry. The home fries was great.Server was having a tough day, but was doing her best. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5.“

Daddy's Dairy Ice Cream Shop • $
95 Central St, Norwood - 8.2 miles

“Daddy's Dairy in Norwood is a true gem in our town! This delightful ice cream parlor has become a family favorite, and for very good reason. First off, let's talk about the extensive flavor options they offer. Whether you're into soft serve or scooped ice cream, Daddy's Dairy has you covered. The soft serve selection is like a rainbow of creamy dreams, with flavors ranging from classic vanilla to exotic fruity twists. And for those who prefer their ice cream scooped, you'll find a plethora of delectable options that will make your taste buds dance with joy. My 1.5-year-old absolutely adores their ice cream, and it warms my heart to see how much joy it brings her. They even have a special ice cream for dogs, complete with a milk bone on top, which has turned our canine companion into a regular visitor as well. One of the standout features of Daddy's Dairy is the street closure in front of the parlor. This creates a wonderful gathering spot by the town square where kids can run and play in the open air, all while enjoying their delicious treats. It's a charming setting that adds to the overall experience. Now, a word of advice to fellow ice cream enthusiasts - as tempting as the candy and topping mix-ins may be, I'd recommend steering clear of them. They tend to overwhelm the ice cream and detract from the pure, unadulterated flavor. With the wide variety of quality ice cream flavors available, there's really no need to add extras. In conclusion, Daddy's Dairy in Norwood is a true delight for families and ice cream aficionados alike. With its extensive flavor choices, special treats for kids and dogs, and a lovely outdoor space for play, it's a top-notch destination. Just remember, sometimes less is more when it comes to ice cream toppings - let those flavors shine on their own.“
