“OMG!! Their lamb biriyani was so good. We ordered last night on uber eats. We came to providence to attend a conference and we 3 are from Bangladesh so we were looking for some biriyani. And we saw that this restaurant had good rating and we ordered goat, lamb and chicken biriyani. I had the lamb biriyani and it was just so perfect. “Great coffee shop we went for the lighting of the Riverside tree lighting. We have been going since it started. We weren't happy this year though they lit the tree without telling the people inside and we missed the lighting. We were getting coffee. The people around us all felt the same. Why couldn't they come in and tell us. Oh well that's what happens I guess.“
“I went there on a Sunday afternoon right before they opened for business, and they already had a line of people waiting outside; I knew that meant that they were good. Once the doors opened, the line moved quickly. The service (which is incredibly important to me) was very professional and friendly. The place is clean and modern, and the vibe was great. I bought a cube cookie butter croissant which was fresh, delicious, and the portion was huge (enough for four people to eat from). The ice cream was amazing! The portion of the ice cream was also big, and it was delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I recommend it 100%. I will be going back soon.“
“Has the world become so desperate that you pay $10 for 2 glasses of small lemonade and you only get a 1/2 a cup? Home sick I sent somebody to pick up my order. When I called garden grill and asked why I only had a 1/2 a cup of lemonade they said because they didn't put in ice. I can understand maybe a little bit but a half of a cup!!!! Soo disappointed. For $10 I could have had a whole jug from Whole Foods of organic lemonade.“

“I finally stopped by today for a cone of ice cream and was super excited that they make homemade waffle cones....I got the chocolate one which was so absolutely perfect....I've had them at other places before but they didn't taste like chocolate but the one I had here was perfectly chocolatey.....and the purple cow ice cream was delicious ???? they have all kinds of candies also, candied nuts, fudge, etc....this place is definitely at the top of my favorite list now!!!! ???“

There is limited parking on the side of the ice cream shop and there are 2 picnic tables in front of the ice cream stand.There are many flavors available. We were able to add rainbow or chocolate sprinkles to the ice cream. It was very good.“
“My wife and I lived in Providence for about two years, 2020-2021, and we were very happy when Moniker opened that winter. It was still the height of COVID and we were ecstatic to have a dog friendly brewery open up just a few blocks from home. Little did we know that we would quickly become regulars - in fact, we ended up walking up with our dog Cinna on what we found out was their friends and family night prior to opening and they were kind enough to serve us a beer sitting outside. I think we might have been the first customers??We frequently reminisce about our time in Providence and Moniker is one of the two places we always say we miss (even now, over two years later). I appreciate that they have a wide range of different types of beers and can have something that anybody would like - not just 10 different types of IPAs. I could always count on their Hefe, Marzen, Helles, and yes, the NEIPA.Next time we visit you will definitely find us sitting outside in the biergarten (probably even in the snow) sipping on a beer. “AMAZING! I placed an order for 65 waffles for a company event through the Providence location. They were absolutely delicious! The staff loved them! They service was impeccable! I requested they deliver them to our location. Not only were they on time, but Rex placed a call to me prior to heading over. The presentation was perfection. They provided us with plates, forks and napkins as well as some to go boxes. I highly recommend Zinneken's Belgian Waffles! I am an event planner - so I always look for the WOW factor and this had it all! “Went here for the first time recently and was happily surprised. I figured it would be smokey but it wasn't although there weren't many people there as it was late. I had an Italian sub that was great except, I wish the chef would have cut all the way through the roll rather than slice into it as all the meats, got bunched up. So the sub ended up with one side full of the ingredients and the other much less, I thought I could fold it in half but that didn't work as the roll was to thick. Also, the till was today's which I liked. I will get it they're again but I will ask to have it cut in half, otherwise I don't want it. My friend got wings and she was satisfied, thought they were very good. Wr agreed that we would put this on one of our go to places. Also, she smokes cigarettes so it was nice that she could in there. I don't smoke but none of it bothers me. A really cool find! The atmosphere was very cozy, warm & welcoming. The furniture and decor was authentic and impressive, overall a very welcoming and unique find.“
“We attended a Maison Ferrand cognac seminar & tasting the other night at Sapphire & it was such a fun & unique experience for us. The staff at Sapphire (Melissa, Marc, & Shiv), as well as the guest bartender (Vannaluck), went above & beyond to make the experience interactive & memorable. We were greeted immediately with a French 75 made with cognac - Did you know that the original French 75 called for cognac, as well as many other classic cocktails? No? Neither did I. The welcome aperitif was a great lil' treat to kick the night off with. We were given a mini charcuterie selection to keep us busy until the main event, which began about 20 minutes after we arrived. Vannaluck talked us through the history & characteristics of cognac. We were given 3 small pours of different cognacs to taste as well as a serendipitous, bonus mini pour at the end. Throughout the night, the kitchen sent out a variety of tapas that UTILIZED COGNAC. Cognac glaze, reduction, brine, etc. Fascinating! I went in knowing next to nothing about cognac & left with a decent understanding of the spirit. I've always wanted to do something like this, & Sapphire made it extremely accessible. It was also amazingly affordable. I'm really looking forward to more events like this one. Sign me up, please.“

“Diamond Hill Vineyards is one of those places that are so great to go to that you almost want to keep to yourself because if you tell other people it's going to get so crowded that you won't be able to get a table anymore to enjoy the beautiful grounds and tasty wine they have there. I've been going there for a few years now and the hosts are so accommodating it's like they treat you like family. The wines are so tasty and different. My favorite is the cranberry/ apple. It's tart and sweet at the same time. Get yourself over there this fall when it's the perfect time to experience this place or book your event there. They can accommodate your parties with a huge tent and tables and chairs. Bring some cheese and crackers and stick sausage and have a ball. Kids and dogs are more than welcome too. “Their Bloody Mary is one of the best ones I have ever tasted! Also tried the French toast brioche with blueberries and it was delicious! Their portion sizes are quite large, so even one dish is big enough to share with someone! The ambiance of the place is of the rusty, dive bar type but it works for them! “The Narragansett Beer came into fruition by 6 German immigrants in the 1890s; they combined $100k worth of funds to construct a brick brewing building in Cranston, RI. The beer gained popularity shortly after and it was the number one selling beer in New England.The building in Providence is beautiful with a balcony area. On a warm autumn day, we sat outside and enjoyed some brews. A few of my favorites were:Del's Shandy: reminded me of RI summers. I love the lemon flavor, it's refreshing!Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout: rich flavor that is sweet with hints of chocolate and toffee.Gourd Reaper Pumpkin Ale: tasted like pumpkin and spices; comes with a cinnamon sugar rim glass. This is perfection and tasted like autumn.They have many events and the taproom is spacious. The bar was clean and the beer-tenders are super awesome and friendly. There were plenty of parking spots during the early afternoon. Can't wait to go back soon!“

I wanted to come to a place that was not a brewery restaurant and was a taproom so I could bring my own snacks and be in the environment of a place to lounge. The atmosphere was definitely what I was looking for, spacious with two seating levels to choose from, exposed brick and industrial vibes. I went for variety and had a flight. The sours were pretty good, wasn’t a huge fan of the IPA’s and sadly no stouts were offered as flight samples (can only). There was a food truck outside and a nice seating area. The staff was personable. Parking is on street. I’d go back again to try something on rotation from the menu.“

Nina was prompt with replies, professional, and gave us great options for the event itself. This is clearly a local favorite because when I arrived on a Monday evening there was a long line and many people enjoying the picnic table seating. I ended up getting a scoop of the Girl Scouts Thin Mint ice cream as part of the RI Food Fights Ice Cream month. I thought it was a generous single scoop and it was delicious. I was torn between a few other flavors, including one I had never seen before, PB&J caramel cookie dough. I may need to go back to try it. The seating area was really nice with picnic tables and string lights, and the people working at the counter were very friendly. There's also a large parking lot, which is very convenient.“
