I love food. Cooking is the oldest science in the world, starting with the invention of fire, and having been refined in different ways across the globe ever since. The amount of history that exists inside a culture's cuisine stretches the imagination, and the food at 1947 positively sings with it. You can taste the story of India in the depth of flavor and sophistication created by the chef's mastery of spices. If the food was not so great, I would’ve given this place a 2 for the service. I highly recommend this place to others but go there prepared! There won’t be a hello or welcome, no please no thank you, no smile at all, staff will be standing with their arms folded and looking extremely disgruntled. Ensure to go the bathroom before you leave the house because the restroom is disgusting. But the food is that goos that I’ll definitely go back.
