“Stopped by with wife to pick up some poetry she painted at an event they held and (as dog people) we walked in and were greeting by at least 4 dogs chilling with owners in the bar. Decided to stay for a beer. Bartender was super nice and atmosphere was nice. Ended up buying one their tees with a GSP as part of the logo (we just lost my wife's best friend who was a GSP renecently). Great place. The (pheasant?) IPA was delicious. Wife got the vanilla (haven't seen her drink a beer in over 10 years (if ever a beer) and she liked hers also. Seems like a great place for us to have 10-15 mins from west Plymouth. We will be back!??“

“My husband & I were visiting our daughter in Whitman and decided to try this pub. We had the best time! The food was delicious (shepherd's pie)! Great service & a cozy spot. We loved the live music too (Bob Phillips). My husband felt like he was playing his CD collection! We'll definitely be back.“

Also have been there for two private functions recently and the quality was top notch. They’ve done an amazing job with everything since the reopening“

“Had an outstanding meal here back in November - our family live locally and insisted we visit, and I’m so glad they did! Everything from the oyster menu was super fresh and a great way to appreciate the variations between different varieties. Service was friendly, cocktails were delicious, and the Windsor Fries (cooked in tallow and served with a delicious garlic mayo) are genuinely the best fries I have ever eaten. “Our group had our own room and we were early the bartender was extremely cheerful and attentive. John Brown handled our buffet which was wonderful chicken Parm, noodles and red sauce,Lasagna and sausage and peppers along with rolls and antipsto salad and all the condiments. John was attentive to our beverage and all our other needs and provided us with food take home containers. This is a great place for a family gathering and Blanchard Funeral Home had recommended and we highly recommend both of them also!“

Friendly and welcoming!Vegetarian options: Have a great take on the warm veggie wrap, Baby Zucchini, mushrooms, grape tomatoes and Chick peas. Also offer a veggie pizza, burger and calzone. Mac and cheese was delish. Many menu items have optional meat added so seem to start more veg friendly.“

“When I went there, it was my 2nd day in the US ever. This place did not disappoint. Very authentic, very American, I loved it. All the screens showing different sports, the pale ale beer is extremely tasty, and the food was also very good.The staff was also friendly and attentive.“

“Very nice place, right on the water. Went for lunch today after hanging out at the ocean watching the waves crash, if storm coming in tomorrow. Waitress was very attentive and when i ordered the blackened chicken sandwich she cautioned me as to how spicy it was, glad she did because i would not have enjoyed it. Got chili instead, very good serving with a heap of tortilla chips. Also ordered the corn bread with honey butter so delish. Husband got the lobster bisque, good chunks of lobster in it, we both had a ceaser salad, he had anchovies on his. Salad was a very good size could have easily shared one. “I wish I could remember our servers name because SHE was the best thing about last night's gathering of friends at the 99. The food was very good but our server really was splendid. Made our evening even better than it already was. Some had the Haddock, 1 had the French onion soup and a salad. I had the short ribs, a first for me. I seldom eat beef more than once or trice a year. Usually get salmon. Those short ribs were fall apart tender and very tasty. Yum!“
