“Driving up, my first impression was that the place was closed; the windows were dark and it was difficult to figure out which door was the entrance. The signage was confusing and had two business names including "O'Leary's Pub." We went in and the place was neat and well organized although somewhat dated and a bit worn down and old (sort of like most of the patrons the average age of which was probably 75). There was also an unused stage--damned shame since I love live music. BUT... To me, the food and the service matter the most since that's what we were there for! The server was very friendly and prompt, and we ordered a tuna melt and pot roast--both were delicious! So I'm giving this one 5 stars.“

“We finally returned to The Snug since before COVID restrictions. We loved the Irish music and oldies bands. We arrived before the music this evening and were lucky to be seated immediately. It is usually crowded and noisy. Our server was personable and got our drinks and food quickly. The Snug is, as the name suggests, a snug Irish pub filled with Irish memorabilia. The Smithwicks had a plump foamy head and is lighter than Guinness. My SO's sangria had a hint of peach schnapps flavor. The Greek salad was more than enough for two. The fried haddock sandwich was so big I thought it was the fish dinner. The fish was flaky with a crunchy exterior and the roll was soft and delicious. I had it served with vegetables; the carrots and green beans were tasty but the broccoli was cold. The appetizing chicken salad sandwich was a bit different; shredded chicken and craisins were on a hot dog bun and the mayo was on the side. We will return to The Snug soon to enjoy the music, food and drinks.“

“Our party of 20 had an excellent dining experience. Our waitress was hands down incredible! She was pleasant and not a bit flustered or overwhelmed. I was expecting a decent wait for our food considering the large size of our party but I was pleasantly surprised! We had 3 large tables and each table had drinks at the same time, all 3 tables had our appetizers at the same time, and all 3 tables had our food brought out at the same time. That alone is impressive, but the wait was no longer than you would normally expect. The food was great and hot. 20 meals and not a single complaint! It’s right across from the beach and right beside the laundromat. They don’t have any hot drinks there but the Dunkin’ is across the street. If you are new to tacos there is an option to remove and or add items from or to the tacos, burritos, salad, etc. Most of the food is not very spicy but you can add Cheyenne, jalapeños or habaneros. So you can make it spicy by asking for that option.Vegetarian options: Tofu, black bean, meatless.Dietary restrictions: They have options for gluten-free. They have good tofu here and the black beans are nice.Parking: The parking is in front across the street and also behind the building in the spots that say the corner cafe.Kid-friendliness: Yes.
