“As a vegetarian I was more than impressed by the plant based options both appetizers and main. All the food had deep complex flavors which were delicious. The hummus plate and roasted parsnips appetizers were incredible. I had the lentil tofu main and really enjoyed it, full of different textures and very satisfying. It's hard to find a restraunt that truly embraces plant based while also keeping meat eaters happy. My partner had the beef tenderloin and was equally impressed. Restraunt had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It is small so if you prefer a table over the bar a reservation would be recommended. Bar service for us was a pleasant experience with very attentive service.“
“We were hungry after a visit to Winter Lights at Naumkeag. The cocktails and beers we had were top notch! And the small shareable plates were so good. We had two of the griddled chicken thighs and the potato croquettes. Our friend had the shrimp and onion rings. All of the aiolis were incredibly flavorful. The food was soooooo good and we finished them so fast, I forgot to take pictures of the first round.“
“What a treat! They have an incredible vegan menu and everything we got was incredible! The scratch made marinara was delicious. The grilled artichokes were perfect and the vegan tiramisu was to die for. We will definitely be back! Service was top notch and the atmosphere was great!“
“We have been to Porta Via many times now and it is outstanding. Porta Via is a smaller restaurant which allows them to focus on quality, quality, and most importantly, quality. Whatever the wing specials are the night you go, just get them. They'll be delicious. The pizza? I feel its the best in Berkshire County. It really is. The texture of the dough, the attention to detail in the way they bake it, and the flavors they put together are outstanding. My favorite is The Rocket Jam and it never disappoints. We've also sampled other items from their menu and we've always been very happy but I always go back to the pizza. Although, I was watching some pasta dishes come out of the kitchen tonight and I have to say I was envious! They looked incredible! I've always appreciated the effort they put into marrying flavors and it shows in the final product. The service? Always top notch, attentive, and professional. We have never had a bad night out at Porta Via and I always look forward to a visit!“
“AMAZING! I love a tapas restaurant, try a bunch to share is wonderful, and good wine helps! Don't call me crazy but GET THE SWISS CHARD! The boom boom shrimp was so good! The sauce on the patatas bravas is good but spicy beware. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! The special pizza had pork, onions, pineapple I forget the cheese but this is also a MUST, I know pineapple on pizza is a NO NO but this was AMAZING! For dessert we had bread pudding and passion fruit gelato also very good! Highly recommend this restaurant!“
“We were traveling and spending the night at the Hotel On North. They recommend this place for a drink and it did not disappoint. We had the cheese board with drinks and then came back after dinner. The bartenders were great! We will be back.“
