“On a cold, rainy March night, Liz's was the perfect anecdote. My partner shared that they make the best Martinis here. "Not too much Vermouth," she remarked to a knowing bartender when he visited our table to check up on his concoctions. The appetizer of meatballs smothered with their Bolognese gravy provided enough of an Italian "fix" for me that I could move on to the night's special Bouillabaisse without regret. The fish sauce with its lacing of saffron was delicious! I did, however, implore my partner for some of her pasta that accompanied her eggplant Parmesan dish, which she loved BTW, to mix in with the lovely sauce to put me over the moon. Service was excellent--attentive and efficient. And the cozy ambiance was again most welcome on a stormy night. We love Liz's!“

“Sorry about the half eaten food picture, but it was really good. Dropped through here on a whim and turned out to be just what I didn't know I was looking for. The staff was very friendly, it was a rainy day. It was also my birthday on Saturday, and it was pretty dreary. I loved it. The food was great, the service was great, the pace picked up while I was leaving. Great place to stop for a quick bite ?Try the Mac n cheese, I got it to go, and it was still pretty good when I had it later ?“

“The best guest house on the Commercial Street strip. Queen Vic makes you feel like royalty with their excellence in service, daily beverage and breakfast service and the beautiful rooms (pick any but lucky 13 is my favorite). We have been coming for years and Queen Vic keeps us coming back. Also it's the perfect location near Joe's coffee, Boatslip, spas, restaurants and more. “The food was delicious, however, the service was not stellar due to the aloof nature of the waitress. The portion size of the Crab Lumache was very undersized in relation to the price. The gluten free jumbo shrimp was excellent and had larger portions. The raw oysters were very good. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable.“

Porchside Bar Lounges • $$
9 Carver St, Provincetown

“Porchside bar is a block away from Commercial Street. It's a two part bar - we went to the side that stays open later since the piano side was closing up shop by 10pm. The intimate bar was staffed by two friendly bartenders. Porchside is a you-call-it drink type of place since there's no menu. The bartenders are happy to look up a drink online if they're unsure of the ingredients of a specific cocktail you're interested in. On a Monday night, it was pretty quiet. My husband and I were the only ones in the bar when we walked in, but about 6 people trailed in shortly afterwards. The playlist was pretty decent and if you want to smoke, just head out to the outdoor porch area and take a seat on one of the many bar-stools. My only gripe is that it's cash only here.
