“Wanted to try this gem for a while, after local recommendations. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Phenomenal menu, had the baked stuff shrimp and it was the first time in many, many years that a meal was delivered to our table and was “hot” the entire time and we even sat outside. My husband had the veal chop and it was out of this world. The dessert I had was the lemon cake and was sweet and delicious!! My husband had the chocolate mousse and we were wowed again!!! The ambience was wonderful and our lovely waiter was very sweet and thoughtful.”

“Very good food. I enjoyed the hearty (rather heavy and creamy) mac and cheese and the fresh lobster salad, which had a good service of lobsters. Centrally located on the main street of P-town. It's mostly a counter-serve deal, you get a number and they bring the food to you / take dishes away. Service wasn't very pleasant as the guy who brought orders and took plates away didn't reply or say a word. I still recommend it for the food. The washroom is located on the right of the building, access through the side alley rather than via the building.”

“Our dining experience was top notch from the moment we walked through the door. We were warmly greeted by a friendly bar keep, seated by a welcoming, accommodating host and our server was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as well. The food, THE FOOD... AMAZING! Best coconut shrimp EVER! Delicious grilled chicken sandwich with the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. My husband had the Alley Club sandwich with handcut fries and he raved about all of it! Don't walk by this wonderful spot... it's well worth your time and hard earned money.”

“We were in PTown this weekend and got coffee at another place…I was pleased but my husband was not. When we passed by this place I decided to try it (there’s no such thing as too much coffee) - wish we had gone here first! My husband sat down and said “now THAT’S coffee.” Lovely shop with a spacious patio to enjoy your coffee while having a chat or even just people watching. We will definitely be back.”

“This place is all atmosphere. You can imagine sea captains rolling in to drink away their woes, celebrate a great catch, etc. You can also imagine this place getting VERY messy in the busy season in all the right ways.

Be forewarned that this is cash only and there is no food to speak of unless you want a bag of chips. You will get very stiff drinks for reasonable prices and the uneven floors, slanting tables, etc., could prove interesting depending on how much you take advantage of their reasonable prices. Have a plan in place for what you're going to eat to soak all that alcohol up.

We were there on a quiet day in the off season and we loved it. Not sure I would be as into it in high season, but I hate high season anywhere. 😆”

“definitely in my top restaurants in ptown. ordered light with a chicken parm and pasta faglio. both were amazing. the chicken was thin and the sauce had great flavor. the soup was exactly what i wanted on a cooler night. the food was quality and the restaurant was cute.”

From outstanding coffee and espresso drinks and more to a welcoming atmosphere, it's definitely worth a daily visit in the morning, afternoon or after in day drink. comfy and friendly. As someone super pucky anout my coffee, even "just" an americano was smooth to an outstanding Espresso martini. A must stop.”

“The food was excellent. We started off with deviled eggs and brussel sprouts which were amazing. I had the cauliflower steak, my friends had filet and lobster. All 3 meals were delicious. Our server was friendly and on top of things. A wonderful experience.”

“A wonderful quaint Italian restaurant. Every staff member was beyond delightful and made the experience that much better.

The food was unbelievable. I got the linguine with clams with the white sauce. They did not skimp on the clams, had to be a dozen or more shells plus tons more in the pasta. The broth was to DIE for. I started dipping the complimentary bread into the broth and eating it.

I got a cranberry margarita which was a great summer cocktail that was balanced perfectly but was effective in its task!

At the end they do take a cash donation for the Provincetown Food Kitchen if anyone wants, they did not pressure us at all. It was a great gesture and they let the table sign a plate that gets put up on their wall!

Lovely place with lots to offer. We will be back.”

“Went out in search of a quick, light bite to eat after the local restaurants were closed. Found Spiritus and had a great experience! The pizza is thin but filling. $5 for a pepperoni slice. It is a cash only establishment.”

“Without a doubt the BEST lobster rolls we’ve ever had. You’re offered a choice of rolls made with mayo or hot butter. We chose the latter. They add just a little seasoning to the hot butter and it complements the fresh lobster beautifully! A lobster roll with flavor! A revelation! Excellent quality fresh seafood as well in a spotless market. Clam chowder and Portuguese kale soup were also outstanding. The woman working the counter was a gem 🙂. Excellent!”

“Lovely wait staff, delicious side salad with lots of greens, carrots, ham, bacon and cheese, and main course of salmon, mashed potatoes and broccoli was cooked exactly how I like it. Plus I got to take some for later. A pity we are leaving tomorrow. Ptown is a very special place for us.”
