“Amazing experience every time i’ve been. The last few times Carmen was our server and she was the absolute best!! Catered to our every need, and was super nice and friendly! 🙂↕️”
“It’s not always easy to get to Quincy from Boston. Southbound traffic can be a nightmare but if you’re able to make the journey, or you have the fortune of already Quincy, Le Madeline is a special restaurant worth your visit.
One of the first things that you notice about Le Madeline is the location, nestled proudly in a corner of downtown Quincy.
The food is truly exceptional. Not only do they have more traditional Vietnamese favorites (pho, vermicelli noodles and rice) to please the purists, but Chef Peter’s original creation elevates this restaurant to an unbelievable level.
Dishes like the Viet Cajun Noodles, Giant Prawns, and the freshly shucked oysters (Hàu Nướng Mỡ Hành) take you for a ride along not just the origins of where Vietnamese food has come from, but possibly where it’s going in the future.
Seafood is definitely a major priority on the menu here. The Sa Tế Onion Dip with a big fat dollop of caviar and shrimp chips was the perfect crunchy shareable finger food appetizer. And the Vietnamese inspired take on the New England lobster roll with tamarind (Tôm Hùm Rang Me) was out of this world.
A big shout out to every single staff member. The service was genuinely kind and warm offering to explain all of the dishes and made us feel so welcomed.
An inspired, well executed restaurant like this doesn’t come around very often and should not be taken for granted. Go now before they get even busier!
Parking: There a paid parking lot across the street”
“Pleasant atmosphere, great food, upstairs deck for outside dining, social distancing and great services.”
“Amazing spot! Friendly service, great (!!) food, and comfortable ambiance.
For parents: they have a solid kids menu!
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu :)”

“Good morning I own the Musical Bubble Barge with Santa. After a visit with Santa to Off the Hook, John hooked us up with dinner for 3. Amazing meals My husband had the haddock. Came with spinach (doesn’t like spinach) so I took it from him. I put it back and said taste it. He took a tiny piece. Did the taste taste taste with his lips and said, hmm that’s really good. Garlicky, not mushy… that’s good! And the stuffing in the haddock is delicious. You wouldn’t expect this from a pub. Really good. For me Best fish taco Pieces were huge Santa just chowed on his fish n chips. Said nothing Sat back Pat his belly And said That was a meal! Yum Thank you again, John Happy holidays and congratulations on you baby girl, Tallulah Absolutely adorable 🥰”

“Some of the best food my husband and I have ever had! We had an amazing time last night celebrating our friend’s recent engagement. From the ambience to the drinks & food, we had the best night! The server was so sweet and helpful, he helped with entree recommendations! We would absolutely return. 10/10!”
“Very small and tucked away; but an absolute gem!! I ate here for the second time today with my mother (a pescatarian) and there were plenty of options for both of us. We personally recommend the fried rice options, but anything is good! Staff were very welcoming and friendly, service was pretty quick. Got a milk tea to go afterwards and it’s a 10/10 as well. Pricing is very fair and portions are large; If ordering a main dish, expect to either share or bring home more than enough for leftovers!!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian options present on all sections of the menu.”
“These are the best soup dumplings I’ve ever had and the pan fried dumplings and turnip cakes were also top notch.
This place is a small casual spot with a few tables inside the Kam Man grocery store (when you enter the building, go straight and it will be on your right). Service is lovely. We also bought dumplings to make at home.
Highly recommend!”
“This place is sooo yummy!!! I love how the meal has protein, veggies and starch!!! Everything was delicious, the chicken and lamb! My favorite is the lamb and this place makes it very flavorful as well tender.
Must try this place as well as the service is very fast/efficient!
No pictures of food- it all in my happy tummy
Thank you!!!”
“I would recommend it because the food is good but when I ordered they said a half hour I had to sit outside and wait though. when I got there I had to wait outside almost a half hour because they only let one person in the building at a time. I got there about 45 minutes after ordering they told me five or 10 more minutes it took an additional almost 20 minutes. I sat outside in the freezing cold. I did not receive an apology or anything. This is the first time I have not tipped since Covid began.”
“My nonprofit group enjoyed a private party at Tokenfire. The hot appetizers were a great start to the party, with meatballs, pork dumplings, the best brussel sprouts and savory flatbreads. We enjoyed the authentic Shepherds Pie, perfectly grilled salmon, and a vegetarian pasta dish. Dessert, including a fig bread pudding with salted caramel gelato and tiramisu was fabulous. The service was excellent and the ambiance was delightful. I hope to return when they have live music.”

“I’m a picky one when it comes to eating fish. This little shop right under the Fore River Bridge is the absolute best spot if you want fish so fresh it is obvious that it is the day’s catch! The batter is perfectly light, doesn’t separate from the fish and the result is simply the best fried fish I’ve EVER TASTED! Do yourself a favor and check them out!”
“We all thoroughly enjoyed our Hot Pot Buffet. Great value for high quality ingredients that were very fresh. We tried several choices not typically found at other restaurants. Our fantastic wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and highly efficient. We recommend Fairy Cafe and will definitely be back.”

“We chose Kristen to bake our wedding cake and cupcakes, and we couldn’t have been happier with them! Not only was Kristen great to work with, we had a large selection of delicious frosting and cake flavors to sample and choose from! She made my vision of a vintage-style cutting cake come alive, and guests couldn’t stop raving about how good the cupcakes were. If you’re engaged or just looking for some tasty treats, visit Confectionately Yours!”
“Got some mini charcuterie boxes, mini chicken pot pies and some deserts to go.Meat and cheese in charcuterie were high quality and the price was so good .Easier and less expensive to try and make your own.Definitely a hidden gem in Quincy.Fab spot to grab items for a dinner party on the go .Owner was super friendly and can customize any size board. Parking is available on street.”
“Performed here for their Sunday night live music and had the best time! Food was delicious and staff was phenomenal in every way. Highly recommend Liberty Tavern”
“Loved the avocado seafood kani salad and they have great lunch specials! Friendly service and clean space. 10/10
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free soy sauce for the sushi”

“Love the place and food. Became our new casual lunch spot. Just a few tables but we always manage to get one. Love the simplicity in the noodles soup. Nothing fancy like pho or bun bo hue, maybe as a special. Got delish beef stew, pork chop rice, fried egg taro. And of course banh mi.”
“I really liked the food here, the broth was really flavorful and the service was quick. you order everything through a tablet which is dangerous if you have no self control because you can just keep ordering stuff throughout the meal lol. but its super convenient. the servings are generous for the price. the free dessert is also pretty nice. the bok choy, enoki mushrooms, taro, and quail eggs are my favorite.
also the bathroom is really clean and they have everything you could need in the womens bathroom.
i would avoid the bar seating during busy times if you can though, because of the layout. the bar is in the line of the kitchen so the workers are walking behind you and talking as you eat. also one worker left their tablet (each waiter has one ig) next to the bar and for almost an hour straight it was constantly dinging with the notification sound. it was extremely annoying lol.”
“Soups here are very good and flavorful. The service is quick (implied by the name 10 second delivery) because the prep is done in advance. If you get takeout, expect noodles and most toppings to be packaged separately as trays to one container. Parking can be found on the side road. It's located behind Wollaston station.”
“Taste, quality, presentation and service are excellent. Love their large menu. I've had their traditional Chinese appetizers. Pickled and hot pot rice noodles are excellent taste and portion. Claypot rice noodles are packed with great flavor.”
“THOP is a solid pizza and sub shop. Staff is friendly, welcoming and always provides quality food. There is something to be said for consistency, which seems harder and harder to find these days. THOP is always great quality, prompt and tasty. Love supporting this family owned shop. Solid meatball subs”
“My fav Korean restaurant in MA! Since it's really hard to find a good Korean restaurant near Boston. I only go to SGD quincy. The servers are very friendly and fast. Attentive to guests. I love every food on the menu, but Korean LA galbi and seafood pancake is another level. Parking space is huge and free. 10/10 restaurant!!! Highly recommended”
“The food at Fuji is outstanding. Far and away the best fusion Japanese food in Newton and around.”

“Very friendly atmosphere and accommodating to our youngest who is wheelchair bound. Nice little spot with a mom and pop feel to it. Food was very tasteful and service was wonderful! Great tasting coffee and prices are affordable, great little find. :) Will definitely be back if ever in the area again.”
“Come here for the inexpensive home cooked fu zhou cuisine experience! Definitely recommend the mix noodles and all their wontons, fried taro was crispy on the outside and fluffy within. Been coming here before they even had a Google page, cures my homesickness all the time!”
“I've been wanting to try the donuts here for ages. I'm so glad I finally made it in. They're melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Their honey glazed is like a giant crispy Kreme. The donuts are Super fluffy. This also appears to be a great hang spot for coffee and lottery (as seen by the locals).
I still love my Kanes, but this is a nice SS alternative.
Cash only!!”
“I recently dined at this restaurant and found the portion sizes to be more than generous, easily enough to satisfy a hungry appetite. I particularly enjoyed the chicken lo mein. The general gau chicken, however, was a bit too oily for my liking, and the egg rolls were rather bland in taste. I'm not entirely familiar with Chinese cuisine, so I'm unsure if that's how they are typically prepared, but it didn't quite suit my palate. On the positive side, the price point is quite affordable, and the restaurant offers decent seating for those looking to dine in. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price.
Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options”
“This hole in the wall is not pretty Inside, but they do have Cantonese/Hong Kong Style food. They are Cash only. We got the curry sauce pork on spaghetti and Beef stew & wonton soup. The service was decent. Don't have have expectations for service at any Asian places. Our food came fast, but getting our bill took time. They got pretty busy. The wontons tasted homemade and the broth was very rich in flavor. The curry sauce was thick and tasty. The pork was perfectly cooked. Overall, a good experience”

“This is our go to local place. The food the drinks the staff all are the best. It reminds me of Cheers everyone knows you and friends are made fast.”
“First visit last night. I don’t usually order pork chops at a restaurant. but I did get the chop yesterday it was delicious. Will be back.”
“Got the chance to come to Alba in Quincy for the first time tonight for an anniversary dinner. My wife was blown away by the service we received from our server Courtney. We both work in the industry and could not compliment enough how great of a night we had. Bolognese are phenomenal!”
“The Easter brunch was fantastic! The service was great. They were well organized. There was plenty of delicious food. There were many different food choices. Everything was excellent. Thank you Common Market for a very enjoyable Easter brunch!”
“Paddy Barry's Quincy is truly a remarkable pub, earning a solid 9 out of 10 rating. Stepping inside feels like being transported back to the lively atmosphere of a pub in Cork City, right by the quay. The energy is infectious, with the sounds of laughter and conversation filling the air. You'll also have the pleasure of encountering craters with incredible stories to share, making every visit an adventure. And let's not forget the talented musician who always graces the pub with their guitar skills, taking the ambiance to new heights. We are incredibly fortunate to have a pub of this caliber in Boston and the surrounding area. And when it comes to the perfect pint, Paddy Barry's Quincy undoubtedly delivers the best in the South Shore”

“To the person who said the waiter said they ran out of sausage three days ago, was miss informed. They ran out t of sausage three years ago. My first visits ti the shaking crab in quincy I know they served sausage. After that came the hot dogs. Never ordered sausage again”

“We found Catering by Terrie while searching for local caterers for our unexpectedly rushed wedding. Most catering companies declined the request as the wedding was planned for less than two months away. Terrie not only agreed to work within the limited schedule, but also adapted some of the dishes from her catering menu to accommodate some of our guests with restrictions. Terrie’s team was punctual, polite, and professional. The food was fantastic, and by the end of the evening all the guests were well-fed. Many compliments were received on the charcuterie board, curry noodle bowls, coconut shrimp, chicken parmesan sliders, and many others. Set-up and take-down also went without a hitch. With all of the headache and stress that went into a wedding planned on such short notice, Terrie and her team graciously handled one of the biggest aspects, and helped to make the day as perfect as we could have hoped.”
“Food was delicious. Portions were small. Prices were somewhat high for the small amount of food you get. Service was fine. Overall, not a bad place for a light lunch. But if you are looking for a belly-filling meal, be prepared to go home hungry or spend a lot and order several extra dishes.”
