“We love Pollo Royal Revere! We feel at home every time we visit and the staff are always friendly, pleasant, accommodating and professional. The manager is very helpful and attentive, she goes out of her way to solve any issues or concerns and is very proactive. The food is delicious! My favorites are the roasted chicken plate with the green house sauce, the taco plate, and their delicious juices and smoothies (you gotto try the "Tamarindo" juice and the cantaloupe smoothie with milk...the "Jamaica" juice is delicious too). I highly recommend this restaurant to any tourist/local alike. We travel from Kingston, MA to meet with family and we always look forward to dining at Pollo Royal Revere. Tasty food that it is worth your money :)“
“Ladies and gentlemen! Not recommended here at all, specifically if you are not Spanish. I experienced the worst moments that night here in Las Vegas at sherly Ave, revere. I'm trying to explain in a simple way - The bartender whose name is Natalya as i heard, she threated me so bad that i have had never experienced in my whole life. It was around 12:00 am, Thursday sep 29 I entered the bar, the bartender that i mentioned her name above, she pointed her finger to me infornt of every one and asked me to leave the bar immediately. Folks! Let me be honest with you, I don’t take that stupid thing from nobody if I’m not wrong. I asked the reason but she had nothing to say to match any restaurant and bar policy. even she asked from other servers do not serve me any food or drinks. i noticed, she doesn’t know nothing about the customer service either, zero. Unfortunately, there was nobody responsible to solve this issue. they said we do not have a supervisor or manger here. the way she treated me, that is so rude, unprofessional and unacceptable. I’m not lying, i did nothing wrong and i have a prove as well, they got cameras on every corners in the bar. Worst experienced. poor customer service. Totally the whole thing was terrible that night.“
“These are extremely delicious empanadas, and you can taste the quality of the dough and fillings. The beef and spinach empanadas (two varieties) are really well seasoned, and they don't skimp on the fillings. The pastry was sturdy and crisp. I got mine at Momma's (freezer section), and freezer to plate is 20 min or less. I'm excited to try their other flavors!“
“Hip little spot in Somerville for seafood with a Peruvian twist. This spot is pretty small so make a reservation ahead of time. Seating can be pretty intimate if you have a big party or broad shoulders. The seafood was good, I recommend the mixed seafood risotto and the cocktails were delicious.“
“I was craving fish and chips on a Sunday night. Lunas popped up as an option in a Yelp search and was about a 10 minute walk from my hotel. It's a very well lit, clean and comfortable spot. I was greeted promptly by a very friendly hostess and I chose a seat at the bar. My bottled NA beer came with a nice chilled glass as an option. The fish and chips were good; the fish was fresh and flaky although not very crispy which is what I like. The fries weren't very hot which was disappointing; my personal sore point is not having hot crisp fries with an order of fish and chips. I would return and try some of the other menu items if I'm in the area again.“
“cute little restaurant in brighton! everyone who works here is so kind and service was amazing. we got the salmon bowl, fried chicken sandwich, the brown sugar ginger latte and a smoothie and we loved everything. the space is cozy and clean. definitely coming back!“
“First time trying their bottomless brunch here. We were afraid portions would be too big but actually they're slightly smaller than usual tapas plates. Some of our favorites were the Mexican street corn, fish tacos, French toast and strawberry waffles (they come in a quarter piece). The bloody Mary and raspberry mojotis were both delicious. Not a big menu and a few items were very similar. Most of the food felt prepared and sitting there ahead of time as they didn't come out hot.The ambiance was nice and chill. Would recommend making reservations. Our server was nice and attentive and let us keep ordering without any issues.“
“I used to eat this sandwich every week when I lived in Boston. It was heaven then and I’m relieved to say it still is 10 years later. Definitely worth going out of your way to pick one of these up — (they only keep lunch hours and no weekends). I was always a diehard for the chicken but upon eating this realized that the vegetarian option would be just as hearty and delightful.“
“We loved everything about this place. The food was spot on. Our server, Jaysa was friendly, attentive and had wonderful recommendations. We were very impressed with the staff dynamic. If you are looking for great Peruvian food and feel good vibes-this is the spot! We will be “
“We were lucky enough to stop by right at the earlier start of lunch time and found there was nobody else there, while snow was gently falling, creating a kind of lovely atmosphere. (People did start coming in toward the end of our meal). The menu had a mix of some delicious sounding pancakes and breakfast, as well as typical lunch items.I got arrepas with chorizo. I loved the arrepa. It was crisped perfectly, but I think the chorizo would have been better chopped into small pieces instead of sliced because the casing was hard to chew through, and the pieces kept sliding out. It came with a side salad, which would have been delicious, but it came with a sesame dressing (which I dislike and that is completely my fault for not catching!!).My partner got a taco assortment and thought the pork was delicious, and the chicken was good, but felt the beef was a bit too tough. He did say that if he was to come back, he would absolutely get the pork tacos without a second thought. We each had a delicious drink, rims coated in cinnamon and served with a cookie. They also served complimentary chips and salsa, which were good!We would like to come back at different times and definitely plan to repeat. Don't snooze on this place!!“
“Absolutely delicious, the fish and shrimp muqueca was amazing and the fried yuca will be a staple in our household. Crab cake was good, as well. Definitely ask for a side of hot sauce if you can do spicy food! Feels very cozy, not at all corporate. Almost like you're part of the family. Definitely worth the price for the food.“
“We've enjoyed their food all three times we've ordered delivery, though there have been a few issues with side items. The actual entree portion is always great, and they are good about requests. Unfortunately, the first time they forgot our drinks entirely, and the third time they delivered the wrong drinks. Also, the churros are awesome when made as described, but when they forget the filling they are pretty lackluster. Overall we'll keep ordering from them, but the mistakes are kind of annoying.“
“We hired Bocadillos to serve empanadas at a large nonprofit event: a student showcase involving 300 people: high school students, organization members, parents and friends. The food was fantastic - we ordered paper boats, so guests could stand around with their food easily. Bocadillos sent 2 servers, and everyone was fed seamlessly, despite needing to complete the entire food service is about 40 minutes. Bocadillos helped us knock the event out of the park, and I am sure we will work with them again.“
“We went to Orinoco a little under an hour before closing. We were seated immediately and the waiter was very attentive. We had hoped to eat some arepas but they were out of them. I recommend getting here earlier if that's what you're craving. We ended up getting the empanada trio, the Pabellon Criollo (which I did not realize also had plantains), the maracuchitos and the tostones. Yes, all the plantains in the menu. It kind of happened by accident but it worked out great. We got our food incredibly fast! Everything was delicious. However, the tostones and the empanadas were my favorite. I also had a maracuya juice, which was sweet and refreshing. We really liked our waiter, we was very nice and attentive. I wish I remembered his name to give him a shout out. I really enjoy the food from Orinoco. Historically, I had only gone to the restaurant in the South End but I'm glad to see the one at Harvard Square maintains the same flavors. I can't wait to be back for arepas.“
“Food, service and atmosphere were all superb! If you dine here you won't only get a great meal but you'll have a whole experience! I love how the whole staff work as a team! The owner even took time to make sure everything was ??. I drove from 45 min away on a rainy night and this was well worth it. I'll definitely be back.“
“It was my first time dining at Orinoco and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere is inviting and distinctive, felt inviting after a long day. I got an Empanada Verde and Orinoco Mojito to start, a mixed salad and Parrilla Caraqueña for my main, and Quesillo for dessert. I stray away from mojitos because of sweetness but I figured to give it a chance and I wasn’t disappointed. It had the right balance and one of my favorite mojitos I’ve ever had. The empanada had me wishing I ordered more. The main entree was excellent, hats off to the kitchen staff. The chicken, steak, chorizo, and yuca fries cooked to perfection. The flavor/seasonings were balanced, and didn’t beg of anything else (sauces, etc.). I usually don’t go for dessert but I’d say the quesillo would be a dessert to treat yourself to. Lastly, the service was incredible. Very warm, attentive, and informative, Philip and Daniel are what made the experience for me, and are the reason I will return. Highly recommend, you won’t regret giving Orinoco a try. I’m looking forward to trying out more of their menu.“
“Every thing I have tried from here has been off the charts. The zucchini and cheese pepusa is incredible and the steak and cheese empanadas are amazing. The pork belly is also fantastic. The sauces that come with each of them are a knock out of the park. Hands down some of the best food I've had in Boston the owner is the sweetest alive. Service is quick if you go in and order for pick up.“
“The food is very delicious, a delicious season, it's a shame that it's far away from me but every time I'm there on the weekends I visit them. It is very rare to find a place with that flavor that takes you to your island ?? ?. ?“
“Food is SO TASTY. So delicious. There's a huge DIY bowl station to customize your meal. Vegan/Vegetarian options. Authentic hispanic beans mixed with a modern, healthy take, and they are so kind and patient while I asked what was what while ordering. Highly recommend making a bowl and the smoothies!Vegetarian options: Customizable food, easy to get exactly what you want.“
“Great food and reasonably priced, especially for the area. Lots of options, including breakfast all day, sandwiches, tacos, smoothies, coffee, and Brazilian plates of food. Everything looked delicious and service was super fast and friendly. I'll be back when I have errands to run at Assembly!Parking: Assembly garage or lots are nearby, but can get busy.“
“Very good place. Nice atmosphere, although a little small (there were a good number of people waiting to have a seat). The service was fast and incredibly friendly.I really liked the ceviche and the dry goat (I felt a slight taste of blue cheese, I don't know why but I liked it, although there wasn't much cilantro). I ordered a lomo saltado but it didn't taste as good as the lomo saltado that a Peruvian is used to. There was something about the silao/vinegar/oyster sauce dressing that was lacking flavor. Plus the meat was a little dry.I liked that they serve you two types of chili and golf sauce as an additional. One point that I didn't like very much: the background music. Only Arjona sounded. It would have been better to hear something typical Peruvian.Anyway, I give it 5 stars because I would definitely return to the restaurant because it is good, although with some things to improve, I have no doubt that the experience, above all, is repeatable :)“
“We came here for dinner. Service was good. Staff was helpful and friendly. We tried the Birria Taco, Fish Taco, Shrimp Taco, pork taco, Nachos steak fried, Pupuas and Churros. The Birria taco was juicy and tender. Pupuas was cheesy and delicious. We also tried some tequila and margaritas. Everything was great. Would come back“
“Excellent, homemade food, served family style. Quick, friendly service. We are non-Portuguese speakers, and most of the staff are not comfortable with speaking English. With kindness and patience, we and the hostess and waitstaff were able to communicate, and we enjoyed our meal and the service greatly! Thanks! I considered taking off one star for two reasons: 1) the ambiance is perhaps, primitive. It feels a bit like a lunch counter, especially compared to the fancier places in the area which are newer or have been re-done. 2) By serving food family style, the restaurant is able to produce better food, in quantity, more quickly. HOWEVER, it means that everyone must agree on what they're getting. There ends up being a more limited choice for dinner. I expect that if the restaurant gets more business, they will make more money and will be able to address the ambiance, which will then bring in further business. At heart, this restaurant serves great food at a great price and I wish them all the best.“
“Andrea’s Taqueria provided a delicious meal to a small training of 15 people recently. My team was new to the Lynn area and needed catering and Andrea’s made this process stress free. They talked with us over the phone, utilized our ordering spreadsheet, perfected everyone's order, and even provided us with extra items. They were helpful, kind, and prompt. We definitely would recommend them to other folks!“
“I got a flatbread chicken chipotle and a mango strawberry smoothie. Food is delicious, atmosphere right and this is the first place that has asked me if I'd like my smoothie made with WATER or MILK. Alot of places don't ask that. I will return again.“
“Must eat here! Food and service are both excellent. The best hands down in house made guacamole and salsa. Pupusas, sweet plantains and the Montanero are personal favorites. The whole menu is great and you can't go wrong with any of these dishes. If you are looking for delicious, authentic food, then look no further than Taqueria El Carrizal!“
“I went to the newly opened restaurant El Pacifico in Central Sq. yesterday and got the baked scallop dinner, it was scrumptious. I can discern good food . Lynn needs a nice seafood restaurant where you can go and have sit down tables , they also serve steak . It's casual enough to go for lunch and an elegant atmosphere to go for a dinner with friends or for a Birthday celebration . There prices are reasonable and seafood is healthy for you .“
“I'm so happy I finally tried this place , I'm happier it's up the street from me :) I didn't take a picture of the pupusas but oh my goodness, they were BIG and delicious, the queso was just oozing out , you had to be there , haha. The tacos de pollo I had were packed with delicious chicken and pico also the hot sauce that came with it was very spicy , just how I like it. I can not wait to go here again!“
“Awesome little hole in the wall spot. Service was super friendly and accommodating, even with kids and our limited Spanish, and the food was utterly delicious. The Carne Asada was so flavoursome and tender, the pupusas warm and fresh, and the price point very reasonable. Definitely worth a wander if you’re staying in the airport hotels as we were. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Wao Es Colonbiana, pero sus panes son una delicia,no se ban a arrepentir,Los recomiendo ? yo viajo de Andover a la panaderia bale la Pena mi viaje. Muy linpio y los empleados son muy cordials. GraciasI do recomend this bakery is from Colombia but there sweet bread and all others are so delicious ?. I travel from Andover to get some bread.. is well worth it,very clean friendly employees. Go try it! Thank you for you bread and all.“
“The food at this restaurant is always good and fresh. Never when I order here can say that the food is bad or old! I don’t dine in because the music bothers my little boy who is autistic... All the staff are always friendly, they always have a smile on their face even when they’re about to closed. They treat customers with respect!“
“I had 2 chicken pastelitos and the pernil mofongo. Both were absolutely delicious. Best pastelitos I've ever tasted. It was my first time eating mofongo and I'm glad I chose this restaurant. I can't wait to try some of the other dishes. They are so generous with the food. I was expecting a lot less.“
“Best empanadas in town! I love the argentina the most but all are delicious. Quick service and friendly people in a great location! Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: The meatless empanadas are uniquely tasty!Kid-friendliness: Options that even kids will love“
“I was looking for a place other than DD to get a coffee when I stumbled on this gem!The smell when you walk in is incredible and the coffee was so good, I've gone back every time I've passed it since. This time around, I decided to try the cressoint with ham and egg and, man, was that a good move. The staff is super friendly on top of it.This place is awesome!“
“Ive used them twice for our division meetings and I’ll definitely recommend. Seila is very helpful and accommodating when I put in my order. They deliver on time and help with the placement of the pans. Everything is well packaged and easy to unwrap. The food is fresh and delicious!!“
“Small place at first smelled like a basement was packed but the waitress was good and friendly the food was good the salad wasn’t great smelled and tasted like it came straight out of the bag had chemical taste other than that really enjoyed the food good size portions would def “
“Great little spot in East Boston for quality Mexican and Salvadorean dishes at reasonable prices. I loved the perfectly seasoned steak tacos. Their staff was very friendly and helpful when I ran into a problem with online ordering.Parking: Finding parking may be difficult during lunch and dinner hours, there's streetside parking on adjacent streets.“
“Ordered from here twice already. Chicken has been consistent, beautifully cooked and prepared. Not too oily, and has a perfectly crisp skin to it. Sides are delicious too. Their sauce for the chicken is the ideal amount of spicey heat, very flavorful. Great value, especially the combo set. Overall, I'd be looking forward to eating their food again.“
“Loved eating here! The service was good and the food tasted really good! I visited on Miércoles Guanacos (Salvadoran Wednesday). They make pupusas to order with lots of options. I'm lactose intolerant and they even make some without cheese or with vegan cheese. I will definitely come backVegetarian options: Veggi tacos, burritos, pupusas, saladsDietary restrictions: Accommodating to dairy AllergyLots of optionsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs, wheel chair hight tables and handicap bathroom“
“Just had a fantastic dinner at Ruka.. our first visit! Our server, Mike, was outstanding! Funny & made excellent recommendations! We (2 people) shared the crispy rock shrimp sushi, tuna poke, lomi lomi sushi, seared bok choy, and wagyu steak. For dessert we had the fried dough! Holy cow, everything was amazing!!! I look forward to coming to Ruka again!“
“We rented the back room club for a Quinceanera in March '24. Janice and the team helped us with the event and made everything fit our budget. They circulated plentiful and very tasty apps and small plates. We had an open bar for adults and open soft drinks for kids and the bill was reasonable. The decor was classy, newly refreshed gorgeous wall paper and so we didn't need to add much. Everyone had a great time. One late comer missed food service but they were easily accommodated on request. Highly recommended for events! The team ensured the music was queued so we were able to save on DJ.Vegetarian options: We asked for vegetarian empanadas to be made in addition to toastones and maduros.“
“Have ordered from here multiple times throughout the pandemic but finally got to visit in person. Cute cafe vibe rather than a restaurant! My coffee was good. For food, I highly recommend the arepas (like with sweet plantains), cachapa con queso (which has the best cheese and sweet corn flavor like I cannot explain how freakin good it is), and yucca fries with the dip. It's a lil cramped inside and so we had to wait a bit after ordering for a regular table to clear, although they do have a bar-like seating too.“
“One of the best burritos I've had since leaving the west coast. Tons of locals in here so you know it's good! Don't let the atmosphere fool you, all the food is super fresh & quality. You can tell there is a lot of love put into this place. Ps try the tres leches cake, tastes just like my neighbors used to make growing up. Love it here. Will be back!“
“It was crowded and we had no reservations. The hostess was able to accommodate us really quick. The food is really good. From the apps to the entrees as a group we all really happy with our meal. Our waitress was terrific and made sure we didn't need anything. If we're back in East Boston we will stop in“
“I am sick with a head cold, all i wanted to eat was some chicken soup. I went to this place for the first time and the variety of food they have is amazing! I got chicken soup, white rice, and lime. The bomb!!!!! Customer service is an A+ :)“
“Stopped by today. Place is remodeled and clean. They have a few rice options, few meat options, bacalao, empanadas, plantations and cassava ready to go. I ordered a rice and beef plate, empanadas and a side of another rice. Everything was pretty good. Parking on side streets.“
“I have been ordering from casa Metapan for the last 5 years. They Play such a big role in our community keeping our culture alive with authentic Latin American food . no matter what day /time/ or dish you order it will be worth it !! They deliver in a timely fashion and are very kind. They have the best pupusas around hands down!!!!“
“They were nice even if driver wasn't polite enough to left msg that food had arrived neither the app . But this is about the food and that was good even if turnovers looked kind of pale, had kind of a sauce situation that wasn't exactly nice since I like the filling to be not dried but not extra juicy neither. Liked that Dough was crunchy and tasty. Filling had a nice flavor also. It's why I rate it 4 in gral was good just for me an extra minute will have let it on perfect color in the outside and maybe less juicy in the inside. Delivery was mostly what expected as I said just need it the heads up to pick it up as delivered .“
“We went for an early lunch the atmosphere was great. Good music ig worthy walls wings and mirror. The food was large portions delicious and reasonable. I think they were pretty short staffed as it was early afternoon so the food did all come out at different times but it wasn't a big deal it was worth the wait. The guacamole had huge chances of fresh avacado and tomatoes and there was ample amounts of sour cream on the side. I can't wait to come back to night to enjoy the live music/dj (I'll prob skip karaoke night tho lol). Also we didn't try the drinks but I def will be back to try them they all sounded good and were very cheep for the area (around $11 or less) #lunch #Massachusetts #revere #veggitacosalad #steakenchilada #shrimptaco #chickenempanada“
