Speaking of kids, I especially appreciate the staff encouraging parents to be attentive to their kids during earlier hours so they aren't running around unregulated. Kids need to behave in public places like this!”

“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”

“Will always recommend Lil Devils. We order delivery via DoorDash and their chicken finger plates w fries and cheese pizzas are our favorites. We were pleasantly surprised at how GREAT their pizza is. Some of the best in the area. Chicken fingers are sooo good w the spicy sweet Thai sauce for dipping. Go get yourself an order or two!”

“We met some friends to celebrate our friend's birthday. We sat out on the deck with a lovely view. The waitress was very accommodating having made a suggestion when I could not eat the vegetables offered due to dietary restrictions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The only negative was that it was a very very warm evening and there were no fans or AC on the deck or even in the inside dining room. So we were all a bit uncomfortable. However, we managed to enjoy our meals and would return again on a cooler evening.”

Next time I get a chance to visit I hope I get the same bartender. Food was good, the recommendation on the beer was awesome. I came all the way up from North Carolina. Never let Heather go! She is. An amazing, awesome , sweet bartender. I hope to make it back one day soon. I hope to get Heather for my bartender. Amazing person!!”

There are so many dining choices in Salem, and we return here time after time. Classic Italian with some interesting additions mixed in, like the Chicken Miguel. The eggplant rollatini is the best I’ve ever had. Large portions and reasonable pricing. Generous pours on cocktails. Even in October, when the city is incredibly busy, the food and service remain top notch.”

My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!”

The staff was so incredibly friendly, the food and drink was delicious, the cafe was whimsical and dreamy, and it is so, SO obvious how much they care about their community. I LOVE their themed ciders we came in October specifically for their Pocus flight and this past July for their Shark flight to celebrate shark week. We never leave without taking home a pack or two. It is kind of hard to find parking but we make it work. There is no food here but sometimes they have food trucks or you can bring your own food and eat it at the patio.”

The pastelitos were so amazingly fresh and delicious, and he made my Mango smoothie with a whole fresh mango! The flan was out of this world, and my friends Caramel Cake tasted like heaven! Even the french fries we got were fantastic! The gentleman who helped us (I'm guessing it was one of the owners) was so incredibly friendly, he definitely made two more local customers! We can't wait to try slices of his other cakes,as well as the other items listed on his menu! Great amount of food for the price as well! All around, a great guy, a great business!”

“This place is such a treat. We stopped in on a whim after much deliberation about what to eat in Salem, and we’re so happy we did. The owner, Ray, acquired Adea’s a few years back and the addition of Jamaican menu items to the mediterranean offerings really is the highlight, in my opinion. My boyfriend got the Jerk Chicken plate and I got Escoveitch fish. Both dishes were incredible, and you can obviously tell the passion and appreciation Chef Ray has for his food. It was all so good: Crispy fish skin, peas and rice, and delicious house-made jerk sauce that blew us away. Places like this are few and far between, so do yourself a favor and sit down in this place!”

“Came during a ladies trip in August. On our first day, we stopped by for lunch and drinks. The food was fresh and tasty. The drinks were cold and were made perfectly by the bartender. (espresso martinis were 💯) The next morning we tried their breakfast and it also did not disappoint. We sat outside both days, but the inside is beautiful and has murals on the walls. Staff were attentive and polite, I Highly recommend!”
