“My girls and I attempted to eat at the Salem retreat on our first morning of our trip. We waited 20 minutes for a table after watching 7-10 people be seat AFTER we were given a buzzer to wait. We left and came to Dotty & Rays. We got a table as soon as we walked in, had water brought over immediately, drink and food orders promptly taken. The food was fantastic. We had one part of our order missing and once they realized the issue, it was remedied with speed and courtesy. Everyone was very friendly and renewed our experience in Salem. We enjoyed it some much we came back this morning. This is the place to come to a good meal and pleasant experience to start your day. Come to Dotty and Rays!”

Speaking of kids, I especially appreciate the staff encouraging parents to be attentive to their kids during earlier hours so they aren't running around unregulated. Kids need to behave in public places like this!”

“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!”

“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”

“Located in a convenient spot while visiting Salem we stopped there for lunch. It was pretty busy but the service was pretty good, nice people with smiles working the counter. The food was pretty good, we had a small BBQ chicken and a small Meat pizza. I do think the pricing is inflated especially on the bottled beverages. All and all a good experience though so if you want to open your wallet up I suggest giving them a try.”

“Do not miss this spot if you are visiting Salem. We had treats from our Air B&B which caused us to go in person. Everything was lovely, delicious and fresh. Customer service was fantastic. We had croissants, a bagel sandwich, fresh bread, the most amazing cookies and, my favorite, the spinach and leek puff with everything seasoning. The coffee was great too. Thanks so much!”

I LOVE their themed ciders we came in October specifically for their Pocus flight and this past July for their Shark flight to celebrate shark week. We never leave without taking home a pack or two. It is kind of hard to find parking but we make it work. There is no food here but sometimes they have food trucks or you can bring your own food and eat it at the patio.”

The host, Allie was soo funny. Numerous drink options and food are available. The bar is big and there are various other seating options, high tops, couches, and chairs. The place was packed around 7 and into the evening.”

“My fiancé and I were craving oxtail and decided to order from this Jamaican restaurant—and let me just say, the food did not disappoint! The oxtail was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was seasoned so well and packed with flavor.

I forgot to grab the chef’s name, but whoever was behind the food that night deserves a big shoutout. You can tell there’s real love and skill going into the cooking here. We’ll definitely be ordering again—highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Jamaican food! I was not able to take pictures but we will be back and let me not forget my beef patty- I ate it for lunch and it was perfect!”

Dock doors are labeled and numbered. Quick unload. Super easy check-in. Plenty of space to back in. (Considering I got there super early in the morning) Backed into door 11 (receiving). I got there 6:05am for a 9am appointment & was unloaded in 20 mins max. Professional workers. Overnight parking allowed. Overall a great experience delivering here. Such place is how all warehouses should be.”

“Came during a ladies trip in August. On our first day, we stopped by for lunch and drinks. The food was fresh and tasty. The drinks were cold and were made perfectly by the bartender. (espresso martinis were 💯) The next morning we tried their breakfast and it also did not disappoint. We sat outside both days, but the inside is beautiful and has murals on the walls. Staff were attentive and polite, I Highly recommend!”

There are so many dining choices in Salem, and we return here time after time. Classic Italian with some interesting additions mixed in, like the Chicken Miguel. The eggplant rollatini is the best I’ve ever had. Large portions and reasonable pricing. Generous pours on cocktails. Even in October, when the city is incredibly busy, the food and service remain top notch.”
