“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!“

The brewery offers mostly Czech and German style craft beers, each brewed with care and attention to detail. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to recommend a new brew or answer any questions. Plus, the spacious taproom provides ample seating, making it easy to find a spot even during busy times. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor seating. Keep in mind that they do not sell beer flights. Overall, Notch Brewery and Taproom is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy some great beer in Salem.“

“The ciders at far from the tree cider house in Salem, Massachusetts were so delicious and refreshing! We had so much fun here enjoying each others company and enjoying a variety of unique and yummy hard apple ciders! We tried the "pocus flight" which of course was named after the Sanderson sisters and binx! Let me tell you this flight was completely on brand and the best hard ciders I have ever had! Our second flight was also incredible and unforgettable! The second flight of ciders included cherry bomb, candy apple, macachusetts, and nova. “These guys are under new management, and they are coming in hot. I came in to try the Jamaican jerk chicken, and it was truly the taste of Jamaica. Not just some b.s imitation. The chef is passionate about his food. The menu has some serious dishes, and the host Jody is extremely sweet. This place is a must. Service was awesome, ordered a couple different special sushi rolls(booster shot, Mt Fuji, and one that was purple but I forget the name) and the presentation was absolutely incredible. They were delicious as well! Restaurant was clean and plenty of space at the table. I will be coming back here next time I'm in Salem.Kid-friendliness: Server and staff were great handling my six year old, brought her food out with our appetizer and she loved the ice cream sandwich dessert that is a part of the kids menu.“

“Thanks so much for an excellent dinner! The pork with gorgonzola cream sauce was recommended by Madison and I'm so happy I followed her suggestion! Perfectly cooked pork with a rich but not to "blue" cream sauce. Plenty of food for dinner plus the leftovers which will be lunch this weekend! My vegetarian wife ordered the leek and mushroom ravioli and she was in heaven too. Lastly if you are a fan of German Hefeweisen beer, grab the Tucher, prob the best authentic Hefe I've ever had!“

“My friends and I are all regulars at LBs and have been since before the move. Longboards is much more than an excellent bar to us. I've never had a bad dish here, although the new extra large wings and the ricotta sausage flatbread is always top of mind when we get the menu. They have all our favorite beers behind the bar for a fair price and we love trying out all the cocktails too. More importantly this is where we go to watch a game, celebrate new jobs, party on holidays, and I'll even have my bridal shower here in April. The bartenders are friends to us and this place is like the Central Perk or Cheers of Salem. I go here with my friends, on date nights, and I am even known to go alone for some good food and company. Thank you for being a second home to us LBs we love you!!“

“I picked this place out ahead of my trip to Salem because of the reviews and it was even better than I expected! I ordered the Forest Mushroom Pizza and I loved it! It really hit the spot after a 2-hour walking tour. My partner got the Margherita Pizza, which he enjoyed as well. Fast and helpful servers, clean bathroom, nicely decorated. It was a nice surprise. “Went here once and I really enjoyed it, I'll actually be back! Just wanted to stop in somewhere and get a drink or two, going out is kind of new for me. Sat at the bar, ended up getting a drink called Starry Night (cmon can you blame me! the name is beautiful!), Blue Velvet, and some type of beer that tasted like grapefruit drink that was ordered for me. Blue Velvet was my favorite :) it's in the photo. The bartender was just as sweet as the drink and even shared how the foam was made. All around it was a great time in Salem and it definitely made walking around Salem slightly more fun after getting my buzz on lol“

“My husband and I had a small amount of time to grab some lunch before our next activity and Bonchon got us fed quickly! We have Bonchon in Queens, so this was familiar and hit the spot with it's fried chicken deliciousness - half soy garlic and half spicy. We kindly explained to the server that we had to run out fast and initially asked if the chicken would be cooked fairly quickly. They assured us it would be and they were right. The server was awesome in getting us fed and out the door in time for our next activity. It's also nice to have a bit of home =)“
