“My three sisters and I came from Florida last year during the fall and toured New England, covering a thousand miles and seven states in seven days. Our first night was at this lovely establishment, where the beds were dreamy, the morning coffee plentiful, and the hosts were absolutely the best. This is the place that continues to draw us back - the reason we will return. Our accommodations were absolutely beyond reproach. Everything needed or wanted was available, and the charm of the place itself was just beautiful. I don't know that I've ever slept so restful in a strange bed as I did here one gorgeous fall evening in New England.“

“What a gorgeous place! I love the fact that it was once a church and they preserved the stained glass windows, chandeliers etc. The service was impeccable and our food was most delectable. Most loved the Calamari, Tuna, and Cod. It was heavenly!“

“We ordered delivery, our delivery was not the correct one. I called to let them know and the owner was so very sorry and said new food was being made and would be right out the door to us. I am writing this because not only was the owner upset this happened, but was more than generous to make it correct. Mistakes happen, everyone is short staffed ,and they are doing everything they can to make it right.“

“Please update your hours on your website. Been wanting to try as so many good things said about the restaurant. Website has hours 12-8 on Tuesday updated 7 weeks ago (could maybe understand if it was 7 months). Today lunch was to honor my birthday and bid an amazing friend safe travels she is relocating to Arizona. Was I surprised to find door locked and restaurant closed. I'd hate to see someone else get their hopes up.“

“First let's clarify, I don't write reviews because I am hard to please as a first generation Italian and restaurant owner. I was blown away every step of the meal! We sat at the bar and our bartender was friendly and promptly served us our drinks. I loved the complexity of my "Head in the Clouds" tequila cocktail. Then I was so surprised to find they had fried ricotta stuffed squash blossoms, delicious! Something I would never expect to find on the Cape! THEN I had the Bronzino fish entree and it was AMAZING!! Sauce was so good, fish was fresh, perfectly prepared! The arancini were delish too! If you haven't been to this hidden gem, you must take my word that it is so worth the trip to Wareham.“

“Gail is one of the best servers in the business. So if you are lucky to sit with her, your night is off to a GREAT start. Everyone LOVES the bar scene for a reason - but lines out the door start at 430 before they open! Their craft cocktails are memorable and their wine list is delightful. I LOVE LOVE the broiled oysters. LOVE THEM. Come just for those. Their steaks are prepared perfectly, seasoned perfectly. Honestly, can't say enough about this cozy place on Osterville main. It's a place to park yourself in and enjoy the ambiance, staff, people and THE FOOD!“
“Randomly swung in this place and it was the best decsion I made all day! It had one of the best Sandwhich’ I’ve ever had on the Cape. The CALIFORNIAN sandwich is a MUST TRY! Great vibe, great staff and Aweosme place. If you’re in the area, check it out!“

“Our food was served hot and it was delicious. The fried clams, the shrimp, onion rings and fries could not have been any better. There is a wonderful 1950s atmosphere here you expect on the Cape. There is outdoor tables and an immaculate indoor restaurant and bathrooms. This is a place you will visit every time you head to the Cape.“

“First time here and it did not disappoint. The place seems small from the outside but it is actually quite spacious with many tables. It was busy in there and after tasting my latte I instantly understood why. One of the best coffees I've had to date! Went with the coconut cream latte with mocha drizzle and oat milk. Also so a chicken pesto on a garlic bagel and it hit all the right notes. It was flavorful, cheesy, and satisfying. Each bite had me craving more. This little cafe really knows what they are doing!“

“It has great breakfast sandwiches I must say! The only issue with the morning glory cafe is that a breakfast sandwich with one scrambled egg and a couple strips of bacon no cheese on a croissant costs 10$ plus! So even though it's a great sandwich it's definitely the most expensive breakfast sandwich I've ever paid for.“

“Great first experience! We had a group of about 30 in their upstairs event space and were well taken care of by Michelle and Kim. Space was well prepared and visually elegant. The food was perfect. Sandwiches, meatballs, pasta... yum. Homemade chips were addicting. Brownies were incredibly dense yet creamy, chocolatey moist. Michelle and Kim were very attentive and worked with a genuine interest in the success of our event. On the way out, other suspiciously happy staff (either not from New England or they get paid in brownies) thanked us for coming and invited us back for a drink during sunset off the deck. We will be back.“

“Had lunch here yesterday. I try to eat mostly plant based so the Veggie Tacos on the menu was a surprising find. They were excellent. My husband had a burger he thought was excellent also. No problems with either meals. Our server Grace couldn't have been more attentive. She was working the outside patio of 5 tables and what I observed was that she made sure everyone was taken care of. Will definitely eat here again.“

“Best food I've had in a long time. Excellent from start to finish, great wine list too. Restaurant is clean and rustic, few frills but had an antique charm to it. I highly recommend the cider donut holes and the duck! The clam chowder is a neat "disassembly" of typical New England chowder, with bacon and fried clams and potato served over/in a bowl of chowder proper. It could easily be a small meal unto itself. It's clear the chef had fun with that one!Staff were friendly and welcoming. Reservations were easy to make. It's clear the Tavern is lovingly kept. The road leading to it is heinous, so drive carefully. There are more potholes and bumps in that road than a Boston street after a whole winter of plowing.Parking: Dirt and gravel lot, plenty of room for the size of the restaurant.“
