“There was no one to help at the front (most likely due to helping another customer), and I and a friend were waiting for quite a while with three hungry children. I chose to use the kiosk (after seeing another customer who came in after me use it) to order our food. It wasn't as easy due to having to keep going back to find different sections and saying no to all the add-ons it kept asking about (one reason why I prefer dealing with a real person). We found a seat and the restaurant was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. Food came in good timing, and the kitchen called out my name clearly (as well as a text my order was ready). The half portion salad was more like a side salad of about a fluffy cup of lettuce (which makes one wonder what a fullbportion would be like for the cost). The bread was good and the mac and cheese for my guy was hot and he enjoyed it. It was the perfect portion for him.“
“Suzette offers excellent, fresh, and authentic French crepes and macarons at very affordable prices. The staff is friendly and offers amazing service. I have been many times, and have recently ordered macarons for an event. Over the many instances my friends, family and I have eaten there, I have had nothing short of a flawless experience. I would definitely recommend.“
“What a cute coffee shop! The baked goods are so fresh and the pastries looks delicious. I tried the byreks and loved them. I also got a tea and was happy with the big selection. Can't wait to go back to try other items from their menu! The staff is super friendly.“
“Last night before the Judds concert, we were looking for a place to have dinner. Most places right around the venue were at least an hour wait. We ended up a couple blocks from away at a place called deadhorse hill . It was a small place, not a huge menu but a decent selection of options. The greeter was prompt and polite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was attentive and funny with a quick wit. While we waited for our meal, I observed the bartender expertly measuring, stirring and shaking drinks while engaged in friendly chatting with other staff and people at the bar. Our food was great. We each got burgers and fries and they were delicious. When the bill came, there was a 20% tip already factored in. I've seen this done for large parties before but it was just three of us. Apparently it was stated on the menu, I hadn't seen it. I'm paraphrasing here because I don't recall the exact wording but basically they said the reason they do it is so that all staff is paid equally and they earn enough to make a livable wage. I thought that was pretty cool and then it dawned on me, our waitress was truly one of the best I've ever had. In truth, she didnt have to be. Technically, she was already getting her 20% guaranteed. She didnt have to put in any extra effort. The same goes for the rest of the staff. To me, this made it all the more impressive. The backs of the shirts they all wore said, "Don't be a Pickle kicker". Couldn't figure out what that meant so we asked our waitress. She told us that some time ago back they first opened, a young man worked there and when it got busy and he was building the sandwiches and a pickle fell to the floor, he would just kick it under the fridge. When other staff would clean they would find piles of pickles under there. So its a message to everyone on staff to think of each other, take pride in their work and don't be lazy. I thought that was pretty amazing. All in all, if you ever find yourself in Worcester, MA for a concert or event at the DCU Center, go early and have dinner at Deadhorse Hill. Well worth it and a wonderful experience.“
“Vivacity Nutrition is amazing and more than just a place to drink a smoothie! The variety and customization is next level and Maddie has created a safe space for people to connect, relax and be themselves. Anytime I walk in there Maddie greets me with love and authenticity no matter what she has going on in her life. Her staff are friendly, have good customer service and make a great drink! I look forward to stopping in for so many reasons. Best place to get drinks in town hands down!“
“This place is amazing. Central Mass does not have a lot of vegan comfort food spots so I was happy when this place opened. I’ve been vegan for 16 years and the “chickun” sandwich and (juicy af) breakfast sandwich may be the best I’ve had anywhere.“
“Made my first trip to Root and Press yesterday and I will be back. What a great place! Ordered the Purple Cow and it was very refreshing. The Chipotle Chicken Avocado Sandwich and Aloha Chicken Panini were delicious. Staff was knowledgeable and very accommodating to food sensitivities.“
“My family really enjoyed our first time here today! Our server was so warm & welcoming and took the time to do something special for each of our kids. The service was top notch & the food was equally amazing! Very family friendly cozy dining space with comfy seats. We definitely recommend first bite & will be back!“
“Stopped into this cute little cafe in Sterling I had missed even though I've driven down 12 there a million times. I was looking for a cup of coffee and had an excellent latte. I was surprised to see a pretty extensive breakfast menu, including pancakes and lots of egg dishes, I had assumed it might be just a bakery/coffee place. Plan to stop back again soon for breakfast!“
“The food was great and the portions were huge. I loved that they offered baked beans as an option, so you could get baked beans and home fries.I don’t have a photo cause the food went too fast. Stop in and give it a try if you’re nearby.“
“I needed some food for the road and was struggling via happy cow to find a place that was open (drove to a couple places unwisely using incorrect hours listed on happy cow vs website lookup). Found this place and it was either a slow day or an off day because only one person was working (friendly/good service) and nothing was in the display cases (I had wanted to pick up a pastry or something for my partner). Had to wait a bit but was glad I'd found this place-the sandwich and smoothie I ordered were just what I needed to keep me fueled up, nourished, and enjoying how delicious and satisfying they were. I'll definitely go back to enjoy the meals I saw on the menu and try whatever gets put into those display cases. I'll probably go to sit down next time so waiting won't bother me (it actually never bothers me if the food is delicious at the end of the day lol) but if you needed to be fast try ordering online“
“Been coming here for twenty years after marrying a local. Great improvements after the ownership switch. Robin runs a great place. Really cleaned it up and improved offerings. Service has always been great and personable and helpful. It's definitely got that small place feel. Nice slice of local flavor. It can get pretty busy at typical peaks. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Two adults and two kids is about $60. Always a favorite.“
“Picked up soup and sandwiches to go on a whim and they were all delicious. All together we had the grilled cheese and tomato soup, Italian, and roast beef - everyone was happy. The food was ready quickly, and the salads, cookies, and drinks in the coolers when I went to pick up the order looked really colorful and are reason enough to go back and try something new. Also maybe worth noting - I'm not really a pickle person, but the sandwiches came with sides of sliced pickles. Best I have ever had and I was wishing there were more. I think I like pickles now. Can't wait to go back!“
“From the welcome, to the presentation, to the atmosphere to the final course, I can't possibly tell you how amazing this dinner was. If you're looking for an enjoyable evening produced by a couple who truly loves what they do, this is the place. If I could give them 10 stars I would!“
“First time here. I love the decor. Very old world shabby chic and comfy. The people who work there are friendly and welcoming. The place was packed but we never felt rushed. The food was amazing. Started with chi latte and cappuccino that was made perfectly. We had the baked brie appetizer and it was served with fresh fruit, bread, and other things that went perfectly. We also had fresh fruit cup that was big enough to share and had plenty of berries. After that we had crepes and quiche. We were there over 2 hours and it felt like 20 minutes because we were so relaxed in the atmosphere. Oh and they make their own macarons!!! It is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday with friends.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of optionsParking: It's hard to park behind the building when it's busy, but you can park at the library and there is a walking path to the restaurant.“
“Highly satisfied with my first visit! Came in around 12pm on a Saturday and was served quickly. Variety of menu items but not overwhelming. Tried the turkey club sandwich on sourdough, fresh bread and delicious smoked bacon with fresh veggies. The house blend cold brew iced coffee was GREAT. My husband liked his Americano, but unfortunately they lost his sandwich order. After a while he went to the counter to check in and the staff was very polite and quickly whipped it up for him. However, he asked for no bacon on his brioche sandwich (he’s vegetarian) and… there was a pile of bacon on his sandwich. Good news for me, extra bacon! We will try this place again because it was cute and we liked the coffee and baked goods.“
“Ice cream, coffee and a bakery in the same venue, plus it's open year round. I love it and will probably try the bakery side (serving sizes for ice cream and coffee are generous, by the way), next time. It's a great place to come and go sit in Grafton Common or take a walk afterwards.“
“This place it's cute, casual, like you are walking into Grandma's house through the back door (the kitchen) Service it's great, very friendly staff, they serve your first cup of tea, loved that. The food was to die for, everything was amazing. We got to try some new things and the scones were the best I ever had, so much so that I didn't even miss the clotted cream (they make their own, it's different but still good)Lovely atmosphere with a bunch of friendly people. The only thing is that it took an hour and a half for us to get our food. We had somewhere else to be so we kind of rushed through tea.Overall, great place with awesome staff and delicious food.“
“We were looking for a place to sit for breakfast that wasn't a diner. I came across this online, and after reading the reviews, we decided to check it out. So glad we did! All the reviews were right! Very good food! Couple things to know: it's cash only, and however, it appears on the menu is how it comes. For example I asked if their 3 egg omlettes could be made with 2 since I know I never am able to finish a 3 egg omlette and the waitress said "not really, they come how they come". I opted for a breakfast sandwich instead, which was delicious, and my husband's eggs and pancake were great, too!Parking: There are about 10 or 12 parking spots. Perfect for a weekday but may be an issue on a busy weekend“
“My ex-girlfriend put me on to Acoustic Java my sophomore year of college, and while that relationship didn't work out, I owe her my life (and GPA, and crippling caffeine addiction) for introducing me to this heaven-sent coffee shop. My personal favorites are the lavender latte (it sounds weird but it's incredible, I promise), the caramel latte (basic, I know, but it's so rich and flavorful), and for a quick bite, I absolutely slam back the avocado toast. I could go on and on about how great of a place it is to study, chat, enjoy live music, and just chill on any given day-- even if I sometimes have to run into my ex. It's worth it. I'm going to fall into a deep depression when I graduate, and won't be in the area anymore, but I'm enjoying it while I can.“
“Best steak and cheese I've had! This is a place to sit grabb a beer, chill and wait with time for your food. I went on lunch break, so I was in a rush. Definitely will be back with more time, because that sandwich was worth every minute. ?“
“Not only are the teas and shakes the best I’ve ever had but the service is top tier! Kelly, Cortney, Meg & Will always greet me (and all their customers) with a smile and they don’t even have to ask my order since they know it already! Uphill is a 10/10 I highly recommend!“
“I was happy to stumble upon this cute cafe, with everything you need to kick start your weekend!I've never had the red barn coffee but I'm a Columbian coffee fan and their regular brewed coffee was delicious.Even more delicious was the Mocha fudge gingerbread muffin top. I could ask for that with my last meal on Earth. So light and fluffy with fudge in the middle. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming, the woman who took our order was a little less pleasant as we were taking our time looking around and figuring out what to order and she seemed to want to speed us up.The decorations are all coffee mugs that are also all unique and it was fun trying to look at all of them. They had a cute outside table that looked so cozy if there was just a little heater in this weather (December). I wish I lived closer so they could where I get all my coffee.“
“The best place for breakfast sandwiches!! Freshly made bagels, jalapeño cheddar is my fav with egg & cheese & a cinnamon sticky bun iced coffee, anytime I’m in the area I stop here, the best bfast sandwiches around. The staff are all so friendly & amazing! I’m in n out of there within 8 “
“Best bread, hands down. Every time I go I try something different and so far everything has been delicious, healthy 7 grains, traditional French, Irish soda bread (both traditional and white chocolate cranberry were amazing!) all different kinds of muffins and their scones! I had biscotti today and that was so good! And everyone work there are always nice and friendly, I feel so lucky to have this little gem near me!“
“Excellent coffee and food at this location. Try to acai bowls or egg sandwiches (both delicious). The staff does a great job servicing customers and takes great care in preparing the food. This is my go-to coffee spot in Clinton.Food or coffee can be enjoyed inside or on tables outside.Parking: Free street parking. If you can't find a spot, there is a small parking area behind the hardware store nearby.Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring your child for an Acai bowl?Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs but it may be difficult for those in a wheelchair if parking is unavailable on the street.“
“Small but fast service. Usually stop Saturday and Sunday on the way to Market 32. My breakfast is usually apple pie topping on texas, french toast or pancakes 12 inch each. Either 1 to 4 each. My wife likes a simpler breakfast with Popeye French toast. Middle of toast round cutout with fried egg in hole, get fried toast hole on side. Prices were not raised as high during recession as chains. . .Parking: Plenty of spots.Kid-friendliness: More adults than kids. Mostly singles and couples. The staff remembers guests ons weekly visits. Fast Service. Coffee cups kept full. Very friendly. Customers will change seats to accommodate new customers.“
“This little coffee shop is like a taste of California when I visit Northborough. I live in the Bay Area now, and when I visit family in Massachusetts, this is like a fun little oasis of vegan treats, delicious smoothies, excellent coffees, and friendly vibes. There's usually plenty of seating, the servers are always really sweet and kind, and everything I've gotten from there has been tasty.“
“Food here is consistently yummy..the hogan coffee is the best i have had out in a long time! Not sure if Hogan coffee sells only to retail establishments only. The soups are great and they change the soups often with multiple choices. Lunch sandwiches are always good and it includes wraps too. Menu is varied and has a good selections. I recommend this little comfy restaurant in Hudson Ma“
“Great Sunday breakfast at Heritage. Thanks to Patty, Zina, and the rest of the staff who gave us a great experience. Quick, friendly service and great food. A simple menu, chose the blueberry pancakes which were huge and delicious. We will be back!!!“
“Best breakfast I’ve had in a longggg time!!! The home fries alone are enough to make me keep coming back but the entire breakfast? DELICIOUS and the pizza donuts are so delicious it’s insane! Absolutely love the food and the atmosphere and will be coming back regularly!!! ❤️“
“Stopped in for first time today and got a breakfast sandwich that was so good! The ice coffee was one of the best I have had and there are so many options to choose from. Love the outdoor seating and indoor atmosphere is inviting. Will definitely be back!“
“Food was good, did taste like the grill on some of the French toast but was still good, one of the lady’s can either barely hear or know any English. Went here with my girlfriend and she kinda messed up our order but it was all good. Regular coffee with syrup had a lot of syrup flavor.“
“Great Bar - Nice Patrons My friends and I came across this bar after eating at the Italian place up this street. Everyone at Cicero's seemed to know each other - it was obvious that we were new there (out of place?), but everyone was really nice to us. I chatted with many other patrons there. The guy sitting next to us won a game he was playing, and bought drinks for everyone at the bar including us. Very comfortable atmosphere. Women's bathroom was very clean. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I don't live in the area, but if I am again, I will definitely go back. Thanks“
“Let me tell you about Gerardo's - this bakery is the real deal! When it comes to pastries and desserts, they are so good that even I, a baking disaster, can bring something to a party without looking like a total muppet. Gerardo's is like my secret weapon - I just show up with their treats and suddenly everyone thinks I'm a domestic goddess (little do they know, it's all thanks to Gerardo's). If you're tired of being the person who always brings the sad store-bought cookies to the party, it's time to level up and get yourself to Gerardo's. Their sweets will have you feeling like a boss, and all your friends will be begging for your baking secrets (which you can either keep to yourself or generously share, it's up to you).“
