“When a place gets a universal thumbs up from your New England family, you know it must be good…..and they were right!I ordered the blackened swordfish steak with fries and coleslaw. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw just how thick it was! Most beef steaks at restaurants aren’t as thick as thing was. It was delicious! I’ve been to restaurants where the seasoning overpowers the fish itself. Not here. It had the perfect balance of that unique swordfish flavor with the blackened seasoning.The decor of the place is simple/quaint. With a fish market at one of the building, you know that the fresh seafood is the star of the show, not any fancy decor.Service was very friendly and attentive. The servers here actually take the time to get to know their customers. It’s as large as it is delicious & surprisingly filling for an appetizer.Their Lobster Mac n’ Cheese is as delicious as it sounds. Rich, creamy cheese with chunks of delicious New England Lobster throughout. The serving itself is large (like everything else on the menu) and very filling for even the hungriest diner.“

“Went there at night and had a blast. It got pretty crowded as the night went on so be prepared to not have much personal space but great hip hop and R&B music and atmosphere. The drinks are a little pricey but are big and strong. Will be going again with friends!“

“It was Sunday July 2nd so there was a wait as everyone was out with their loved ones and friends it was my birthday so my niece took me for breakfast we sat at the counter and a very kind woman with a beautiful smile greeted us so kind no matter how tired she was from running around all day and being on her feet for hrs serving everyone the food was delicious French toast with strawberries and sausage with a coffee my coffee never ran out as she was very attentive and made sure it was filled . This is a wonderful place and delicious food everyone so kind ?“

“Incredible experience here! I was very hungry after a long day and it was a half hour before the kitchen closing time. I called ahead and they assured me If I arrived before 8 pm I could order and eat without being rushed. That's what happened. Parked my car in the large free lot. Noted the cozy ambiance. Ordered the New England clam chowder classic and the pan-seared scallops. Very tasty meal. Staff was friendly and attentive. Restroom was very clean. I will return when in the area!Side note: classic clam chowder is very rich. A lighter version as well on the menu would be appreciated.“

“Service was a little slow & We had about 20 minutes of waiting time despite making a reservation. However the food came out fairly well quickly once our waitress got to us & we made our order. The complimentary cornbread was good - not amazing but good! We got the bbq festa with the half roasted chicken since they ran out of brisket. The ribs, pulled pork and chicken were all very good. The brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries had good flavor but we're a little soggy. Perhaps less oil or high cook temperature to get them crispier? Would come back! But maybe earlier so I can try the brisket before they run out.“

“Good Food I was very pleasantly surprised by this inconspicuous little restaurant. It was really hard to decide what to order. There were so many choices-pizza, pasta, seafood, steak, prime rib and some unexpected dishes like lobster ravioli. I had deliciously creamy clam chowder loaded with potatoes and tender clams, perfectly cooked scallops and warm bread pudding loaded with whipped cream. Everything was delicious, and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. Definitely worth the drive. Thanks“

“Our first time here. We had breakfast, (bacon & egg with huge yummy blueberry muffing and a bacon & cheese omelet with English muffin and home fries). Everything was very good. The food and server was fast, and she was very friendly. Even though it was busy. And all for a great price too! We'll be returning to this place!Parking: Some parking in the front, but large parking lot in the back. And a rear entrance as well.“

“Bayside is a restaurant/bar, or I should say a bar/restaurant. It's not a beautiful interior and no quiet romantic dining here. Many customers seem to be local regulars and I find it to be a friendly place. Every food item I have ordered has been fantastic. Their burgers are very good but their seafood is some of the freshest tasting that I have found in the New Bedford area. Most dishes are served with either fries or tater tots and they are great too.“

“Excellent on all levels. Large menu,so there are many choices. The decor is excellent. I had a hamburger that comes with hand cut fries. If you like fries, you have to try these. My wife had sushi and liked it very much. Chocolate cake for dessert. Service was quick and efficient. We highly recommend it.“

Looked king like large steak n cheese egg rolls , also got some fried pickles and a hash brown with bacon and gold Fever sauce appetizer. Also tried the cheese burger which was pretty good.
