“What a diamond, my son & I were in town from Baltimore. We sat at the bar. I had the fish and chips, super yummy.I wish I remembered all the ladies names because the bartender & staff were absolutely delightful.I hope to go back when visiting family.“
“The Westporter is a cozy little spot in the heart of Westport. With it being winter time, the ambiance is set with a fireplace and soft lighting. Danielle was an amazing bartender and absolutely on point at all times. I did not get a chance to try any food this time, but having attended their catering events in the past, I would imagine that their restaurant food would be just as outstanding as I remember their catering menu to be.“
“I have never been, but I intend to. They have a new contact number and I somehow came into circulation of their old one in which I get numerous calls a day about so I'm thinking it's worth the try. But they did manage to post a new number on their Facebook account please refer directly to the page because the Google search results are still showing the old number.“
“We went in on a Thursday for their prime rib special and were pleasantly impressed. The waiter seated us in a booth as requested. The fire was going on this cold night and the atmosphere was cozy. Started off with the pulled pork nachos (yum) and ordered the Cape Cod Rueben and the prime rib. Our waiter was very prompt and friendly and made sure everything was timed perfectly. Service is always great at Galley Grille. Prime rib was cooked just as I like it. Also recently joined the Lafrance Hospitality rewards program and it looks to be a great motivator to try all of their other locations. We will definitely be back!“
“Food is absolutely amazing!!! Mash potatoes are flavorful. Chicken and steak cooked to perfection!! Front of the house very slow :/ I'm we got our appetizer before our drinks! We got our side salad with our meal.. ( didn't know what to eat first). Our wait wasn't long, which was very nice. Location is perfect :)“
“Thank goodness they changed those chairs! The fish and chips were hot, fresh and delish! The margaritas were very good and the steel contraption to hold back the extra ice in the pitcher is brilliant!!!!!! Our server was very good and very attentive.“
“Shout out to Ivy and Mandy who made the four of us feel welcome as walk-in this evening. We are doing a Girls Weekend in Little Compton and after a day of shopping in Newport, needed some sustenance. Jade was our awesome server and had great recommendations and went that extra bit to make our meal special. All our entrees were terrific (salmon, swordfish, steak frites and mussels). Thank you!!!“
“Second time I been there best breakfast spot in Fall River .a real grill cook was a pleasure to watch elegance in action she made every move count . I will be back next week and sit at the counter just to see her in action worked with my dad 55 yrs ago an old restaurant guy brought back memories of him she could have kept up to him not like the hacks of today“
“Ok, you want a great burger? Be prepared to take a bath afterwards. And that's not a bad thing. I had the juiciest, most tasteful burger I've had in ages. I regret I didn't take a picture, but when I took the first bite, I didn't stop. Had the special maple bacon cheese burger. Our waiter was great, upbeat and personable, and the place is clean! The only thing I have a problem with is the loudness, but it's a bar and grille. It's what you'd expect. Won't stop me from visiting again!“
“My go to in Fall River ❤️ best tasting coffee and the service is always A1 !Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves this place. The lady’s always ask her directly for her order which my daughter loves and they have a whole kids menu that isn’t just a burger or nuggets!“
“Great spot to grab some Polish food while also staying true to its Fall River roots. Has a bar and a large seating area with a homey vibe. Their menu is focused on pierogi (some authentic and some more Americanized), but also features other Polish dishes like golabki, kielbasa, and kapusta. They have several sample plates on the menu where you can mix and match. I got an international pierogi sampler, most of them were fantastic and while I was less impressed with some, particularly the French one, they were all good. We also had their cookie dough pierogi for dessert, they were very rich and delicious. In addition to the food, they also have some Polish beers along with the usual options you'll find in the area. Service was great, Patti came out to check on how our meal was. Prices are also reasonable, and they allow mixing and matching with the pierogi so you can sample a lot for a reasonable price. Definitely a unique spot that's worth a try!“
“We had an excellent meal here. Delicious food and drinks, and knowledgeable servers who were able to tell us what could or could not be made safely gluten free (and there were plenty of options). On occasion service was a little slow but it was a busy Friday night.Dietary restrictions: Good for celiac“
“I am usually picky when it comes to restaurants. Food was absolutely incredible. Wings and kale soup were perfectly cooked and our meals were out in 10 minutes. Our apps were out in 5! The drinks were a very strong pour. Maybe even too much! I won’t complain considering how bars and restaurants usually skimp out. 3rd time here and i am more impressed than the first 2 times and those were great.“
“Went there at night and had a blast. It got pretty crowded as the night went on so be prepared to not have much personal space but great hip hop and R&B music and atmosphere. The drinks are a little pricey but are big and strong. Will be going again with friends!“
“When a place gets a universal thumbs up from your New England family, you know it must be good…..and they were right!I ordered the blackened swordfish steak with fries and coleslaw. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw just how thick it was! Most beef steaks at restaurants aren’t as thick as thing was. It was delicious! I’ve been to restaurants where the seasoning overpowers the fish itself. Not here. It had the perfect balance of that unique swordfish flavor with the blackened seasoning. The decor of the place is simple/quaint. With a fish market at one of the building, you know that the fresh seafood is the star of the show, not any fancy decor.Service was very friendly and attentive. The servers here actually take the time to get to know their customers. Big thumbs up there. So, if you’re looking for authentic, fresh-from-the-sea, New England seafood in a no-frills, down home environment, Cape Quality Seafood is your place.*UPDATE*I added their House Quahog & Lobster Mac n’ Cheese to my “tried” list.Their House Quahog is mildy spicy & deep-fried for a crispy outside & soft, moist inside. It’s as large as it is delicious & surprisingly filling for an appetizer.Their Lobster Mac n’ Cheese is as delicious as it sounds. Rich, creamy cheese with chunks of delicious New England Lobster throughout. The serving itself is large (like everything else on the menu) and very filling for even the hungriest diner.“
“Had breakfast with a friend this morning and the atmosphere was fantastic! Spacious and clean!!! Staff was amazing! Was greeted at the door and seated immediately. Out waitresses was fabulous and very courteous. Food was served hot and exactly what I order and coffee was delicious and lastly the price was right!!! Wish I lived closer because I would be a regular customer!!!“
“I bought a fish and chip to go with a spaghetti and meatballs dinner also. The spaghetti dinner was fine but the fish n chips were terrible. The fish was dry and the fries were soaked with oil and limp. The ends of the fish was curled up like they spent too much time under a heat lamp . I have tried to get in touch to complain but no one is answering the phone. What's up with that?“
“I have probably had everything on the menu and also on the specials board and everything has always been spot on me and my wife are there every Saturday and Sunday morning Tara and Cory are great people and also Dee and Brittany I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed“
“I love this hidden restaurant. It has 3 separate dining areas, so far I've enjoyed all of themThe bartender knows her drinks.Chowder is the best I've ever had.If you're looking for ambiance and good food. Try it, you won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Various salads vegetarian burgersParking: It is located in a plaza, very deceiving. Plenty of parking around the side of building“
“We (3) ate dinner there tonight… food was exceptional!! We had Lobster roll (1/2 lb) hot buttered, fried seafood sampler and baked stuffed lobster casserole…. We were all quite satisfied!! Service was great!! We shared a delicious Fish Bowl cocktail - delish!! Very nice entertainment from the outdoor area wafting in. Highly recommend!! We’ll be back for sure!!“
“READ ME!! I recently just had the wonderful pleasure of dining at Joe's Original Kitchen and I must say,.. the Seared Blackened Swordfish and Jambalaya dish exceeded my expectations. The swordfish was cooked to perfection with a flavorful blackened crust that added a delightful smoky touch. The jambalaya was a true taste of New Orleans, with a harmonious blend of spices you could differentiate, comes w/ tender shrimp, and savory sausage. Ohhh my gwwaad! The portions were generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. Everything matched well. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying the seared blackened swordfish and jambalaya dish at Joe's. Idk what it is about this spot but they have an entire staff that cares from the second you walk through the doors, let's be honest that my friends is very Very rare nowadays. Thankfully Not HERE!!!Very Very Very well done ??“
“Our first time here. We had breakfast, (bacon & egg with huge yummy blueberry muffing and a bacon & cheese omelet with English muffin and home fries). Everything was very good. The food and server was fast, and she was very friendly. Even though it was busy. And all for a great price too! We'll be returning to this place!Parking: Some parking in the front, but large parking lot in the back. And a rear entrance as well.“
“I was in Tiverton with for a work related trip and had my husband join me. We decided to find a local place for lunch before heading back to NH. The staff were all super friendly (even the ones not waiting on us) and provided great service and with a smile. Food was delivered quickly and was fresh and very yummy. If we ever come this way again we will definitely return.“
“This is one of the last dinners but is by far the best one in new bedford. If your out of state this is the place to go in the morning for food. The place is great the food is on point and for a cheap price that you can't beat in the area. For the price and how good the food taste you will say the same.“
“Best Fish & Chips in the area. The Buffalo shrimp pasta is outstanding. The ordering is a little strange. The bar is separate from the restaurant so you order your drinks from one person and food from another. It's not fancy but the food is outstanding and a good price.“
“Went here on a Thursday for dinner and a beer after work and the place was amazing. Everyone was so nice and I felt like Ive been going here forever. The food came out quick and was so flavorful! The chicken mozambique plate was so good and had a little kick of spice to it. They also had music bingo night at the bar side and everyone was singing along it was such a vibe. They have music bingo every other Thursday. I absolutely recommend here if youre looking for somethkng casual and trying to chill. They have their own parking lot.Parking: They have their own free parking lot.“
“I love everything about McCray's!!! I read other reviews but I could not relate to "any of them." I was just there last week and ordered $100.00 worth of food, everything was delicious ? I do agree with the one review! Those Devil Dog Mud Slides "ARE THE ? BOMB!" You really can actually taste the liquor! My only complaint is: "I wish you were open EVERY DAY of the week ALL YEAR LONG! Kudos to you and your staff!! I'll see you next season! ??“
“Myself and my husband went for dinner tonight with our 16 month old daughter and I have to say, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to our child. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. Not only that, but the food was incredible! Tasty, different, fresh, and served pretty quickly especially considering it’s the weekend and typically busier. I’ve been here before but every time I come back it’s even better! Thank you!!“
“FIRST TIME AT THIS restaurant/bar . Went for lunch. Walked in smelled an looked very clean . They have a bar , an separate dining area , They also a private room for functions. I had fish n chips ,small white fish feilts cooked perfectly, their was no cole slaw not sure if was soppose to have it or not .. my buddy had sirloin sandwiches with house potatoes. Portuguese soup (no picture). All food was great .. I didn't eat again until 7 at night an was done on time to get back to work ..“
“1st time there since 6th Bristol. Food was good. Server really wasn’t attentive but there was also a problem table that took her attention. I give 4 stars for food and atmosphere. 3 stars for service we will be back and see if better experience.“
“Excellent service and even better food. It was somewhat cold and drizzling so no outside dining but great views of the seaside, battleship cove and Braga Bridge. Had the stuffed quahogs for appetizer. Oh so good. The main course was the Cove Cod. Superb!!! Cooked fresh cod, succulent throughout with red potato halves, littlenecks, onions, bell peppers and diced chouriço in a delicious properly balanced spicy wine broth. Did I mentioned it was excellent. My wife had the grilled swordfish and our friends had the blackened salmon and Portuguese steak. All were superb by the comments of each. Highly recommend. The only negative at the moment, there is construction and one way traffic for several miles. Pay attention for the entry to the parking area. With the construction it is difficult to distinguish. If it is missed the only option is to go around again and it will take several miles.Parking: Current construction on road makes the parking lot entrance difficult to distinguish. Pay attention. Currently one way traffic with lot of construction activity. If the entrance to parking is missed no alternative to going around and that takes several miles.“
“I have been eating here since I was a kid that lived a couple of blocks down. I always get the steak with fries, rice, and an egg and it’s delicious every time. The staff here are always sweet and treat the customers well. It’s an awesome place to be and I treasure it every time!“
“Tried their food multiple times and they're consistently delicious! They make a killer gyro, their fries are tasty and crisp, and they have corn nuggets! Service has been quick and friendly each time we've been, and the prices are good as well.“
“Culinary specialties unique to Fall River include the chow mein sandwich and the hot cheese sandwich. As someone of Chinese descent, I know the chow mein sandwich has nothing to do with real Chinese cuisine, so that's something I'm not missing out on. The hot cheese sandwich, though? Sure, I'll give it a try. Here at Graham's, you'll find a focused menu that includes burgers, dogs, fries, and, yes, hot cheese sandos, which are hamburger buns that hold ladles of goopy cheese sauce, on which you can add condiments like relish and onions. At $3.50 each, they were an inexpensive, comforting treat reminiscent of a Sloppy Joe's in texture - just with cheese. I'll take that! Similarly, a hot dog topped with cheese was a delightful mix of savory flavors and creamy and meaty textures. Service was friendly and efficient. The exterior is easy to miss as it blends in easy with surrounding houses, and the interior is a modest, rustic, old-school affair complete with schoolhouse chairs with built-in tables, a portrait of JFK, and a Droste-effect painting that has to be seen to be believed. A solid, local, independent find!“
“Great food and large quantities for relatively cheap. I personally think the pizza needs some work, but then again, I used to be a full-time pizza man. Everything else was awesome ? ? ? especially the onion ring basket and the steak tip dinner.“
“Amazing breakfast, amazing lunch, amazing staff! And don't forget to check out Blake and Kaya's Kreations! The owners 9 and 10-year-old make awesome necklaces and bracelets for anyone looking to support some awesome little entrepreneurs!Kid-friendliness: Just a perfect family restaurant to go to, classic feeling of home! Kids will remember this place as one they grew up going to and hold it near and dear to their heart.“
“Dark restaurant, good food, service sucked (but that changes with every visit of course)Food is priced fair and I ended up with leftovers so portion sizes are good for the price also.My kids really enjoyed the options and the food, so that's a huge win!“
“The employees were exceptionally helpful and kind; changes had to be made to my online order and the staff was more than accommodating. Upon entering, the environment was warm and inviting, I truly felt welcomed in the restaurant. The items I ordered - cinnabun crepes and some milkshakes were amazing and I’d definitely reccomend them. All in all: very impressed and satisfied with the Dartmouth Ihop’s service!“
“Has the vibe of a heartfelt foreign restaurant sharing great brazilian food. The owner walks around checking on guests and even passing those small strawberry candies to the little onesKid-friendliness: Respectful little kids get strawberry candiesWheelchair accessibility: 2 entrances, one to the sidewalk and one to the back where theres parking, There's handicap parking spots and a flat path from the parking spot to the tables.“
“This is the kind of New England small town restaurant you read about in Yankee magazine. Breakfast is a full house and a mouthful, with huge, full plate sized pancakes. Plenty of elbow room in wide booths that look out onto the town common and its historic white steepled Congregational church. A few stools at the counter point you toward the kitchen. Outdoor deck dining under large umbrellas on nice summer days. For lunch or dinner, try the "dry" style fish & chips. Dredged in corn flour, your fish comes out golden crispy and light, not heavy and greasy like most places. Wash it down with one of their huge glasses of iced tea and finish off with American pie. Next door is Wilbur's, a classic New England general store that sells everything, including takeout food. Thrift Shop across the corner sells castaways from Little Compton closets and is worth a look for cool finds.“
“Not usually compelled to write a review, but I had a great experience that needs recognition. Came for the first time tonight, and regardless of my two bartenders, (Lucille & Devan), having never seen me before, they made me feel like a familiar regular. The food was great, the prices more than fair, and the service was professional, fun and welcoming. Was alone & felt there was a perfect balance between respecting me having my "me time", while also being engaging & hospitable. Thanks for the great experience ladies, I'll be back!“
“Service was phenomenal our waitress was awesome she was swamped and all by herself but still made sure to greet me and my children right away and was kind uplifting and courteous and in great spirits.Parking: East parking with lots of spaces very close to buildingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and the waitress was very attentive to the kids at the table“
“Incredible experience here! I was very hungry after a long day and it was a half hour before the kitchen closing time. I called ahead and they assured me If I arrived before 8 pm I could order and eat without being rushed. That's what happened. Parked my car in the large free lot. Noted the cozy ambiance. Ordered the New England clam chowder classic and the pan-seared scallops. Very tasty meal. Staff was friendly and attentive. Restroom was very clean. I will return when in the area!Side note: classic clam chowder is very rich. A lighter version as well on the menu would be appreciated.“
