It amazed me at the level of customer service he provided during our initial call. The great customer service didn’t stop with him. Krystal handled the next few steps in the ordering and delivery process. Not only was Krystal polite and easy to work with, she was kind and patient. The food was nothing short of delicious. However, the taste of the food is only half of the battle. The other half is how you treat your customers. You can have mouth watering food and poor customer service and you will be my last choice, if one at all. I will choose the Northern Soul Cafe EVERY TIME! “Loved my visit with my husband and toddler.The food was delicious and I loved the interior. The remodel work is beautiful and not necessarily toddler friendly but my child loved the food and had no issues sitting on a regular chair at a lower table. It was perfect for Sunday lunch but I wish I lived closer so my husband and I could come for date night because the vibe says date night. Little place, big atmosphere.Server was extremely polite and kind.It's not a sit-down meal with plates and cutlery but the take out containers made it easier for us to bring our ample leftovers home; that's pretty typical for sould food serving style.My son loved the rice, yams and chicken. My husband raved about the pork chops and greens. I loved the macaroni and cheese. It was all delightful. Tasted like Grandma's heart and soul was in each plate!“
“The food is a bit pricey but overall very good. The only thing is that it’s ALWAYS busy and there’s not enough parking to accommodate the customer flow.Parking: For the amount of business this establishment has, the parking is insanely small. Backs up traffic on the main road from people waiting to get in.“
