“I was around the area and was craving for some Ice Cream - so what did I do? Open Yelp and looked for the closest one to me and has at least 4 Stars reviews- You already know what popped up first - Holy Cow Ice Cream ! I pulled into their parking lot on a drizzly 7pm evening - and have no idea what I wanted . At the same time , I don't want to be standing there looking at the 25+ of flavors that they had . Surely enough- I said to myself, ima have the worker pick for me ! So I said to the girl with a gray sweater, tied pony tail- "idk what I want, can you surprise me ?!" - she didn't hesitate or think twice or question anything (other then do I want it in a cup, cone, etc and I picked waffle cone)- and I'm glad she didn't ask me anything more than that because I STILL didn't know what I wanted lol! . She ranged me up, and did her thing . I also overheard her coworker asked if she wanted her to do it instead- she said no- she will surprise me . I waited approximately 3 min- she handed me a big WARM ice cream cone. I'm going to go ahead and say that waffle cone was freshly made. She gave me two scoops of something which had chunks of caramel squares and chocolate, vanilla, chocolate chip. It tasted a bit like butterscotch and something else . The bottom of the waffle cone had chocolate squares and mini chocolate chips and oh. My. Goodness. It was the most delicious ice cream I've ever had ! Kudos to the girl who "Surprised Me" with this ice cream on April 10th at 7pm ! I'll never know this flavor . lol And I'll probably say the same thing when I come back“

“Was craving ice cream on the way to Boston & was able to get my fix before it closed. Just for kicks, sampled the grape nut which was interesting. It tasted like soggy grape nuts so at least you don't chip a tooth; you either love it or hate it. I decided to stick to my faves, chocolate peanut butter & pistachio. The pistachio flavoring was off, a bit too pistachio-y, if that's even possible. But the chocolate peanut butter hit the spot. Hubby got the milk & cookies & that was yummy too. Business was steady with a lot of local kids, even on a cold weeknight.“
“I'm totally ashamed that I haven't written a review for Zumi's yet. It's really a great place. Literally coffee and community. I've never experienced such an open and inviting and patient coffee place. They will go overboard to make your coffee hit exactly what you need it to. And if it's too late for coffee, they have ice cream. There's often live music and it's a great vibe.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, which is great since the school and the creative Co-op are neighbors.“
“The mini peanut butter wizard is the perfect size. The atmosphere of this place is just adorable and very old timey and I love it. I Ate half my ice cream when I was there so I wouldn’t make a mess of my car. It was so good….seriously amazing stuff.“
“I got an unusually good chai latte with almond milk, and my girlfriend was impressed with her flat white with oat milk. This place has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and one single occupancy bathroom. I did not scrutinize the snack case, but the bars and whatnot looked vegan. I wouldn't be surprised if they had vegan ice cream in the ice cream case, but I didn't ask.“

“Can't believe I've lived in Andover since 1983 and have never been here. The adventure began with the aroma of chocolate when you walk in - amazing. I did a quick jog through the candy store and vowed to take my granddaughters here during their next visit. Next ordered lunch: chicken BLT which was so fresh. Bacon was crispy and they remembered to not add guacamole. Next came the sundae: their list in-house of flavors that are made on site doesn't match the online list (butter crunch ) but the substituted butter pecan was delicious. My only complaint of the day was that the rich, flavorful butterscotch sauce was room temp and not at all heated. All staff were friendly and attentive. Everything felt nostalgic which was so nice. I'll be back.“

“I just love Holy Cow. I will battle that their ice cream trumps other local favorites. Their cookie sandwiches are big! I like to bring them home and split in half so I can have 2 days worth. I highly recommend the fluffernutter one if they have it. So much flavor and they just know how to make the right combinations. Can't say enough out Ritzy AF. The flavor really holds the title of "best" in the country. My parents visited from out of town and they loved it too. I will be back!“

“I went to La Dolce Vita on Friday for my mom's birthday and it was definitely worth the 2 hour drive. I'm originally from Connecticut, I saw them on Instagram and the atmosphere looked so nice and fun I decided to take my mother. From the moment you walk in there's lots of smiles everyone is very friendly and super attentive. They attended us very quickly and when they saw that there was no seating they quickly helped us got us chairs and clean the table off for us they even went as far as helping us with pictures. The atmosphere is great I also loved how they play Christian music in the background making the atmosphere child friendly and also peaceful. Everyone there is so nice and friendly I can't wait to go back again. If you do stop by try their pistachio macaroons they are delicious!“
“Amazing flavors! I had a coffee, chocolate and Goats milk caramel!! so decadent !Another had Cardamom, Saffron & Pistachio, delicate, and floral, so good! Excellent homemade ice cream, with unusual flavors, but also the regular flavors. A must try this summer!“
“DownRiver sells ice cream as well as nondairy options for those with an intolerance. The ice cream is rich and creamy and stays true to its flavoring. And the sorbets are very refreshing and smooth, the only problem i have with the ice cream is not with the dessert itself but with the portions. Even the kiddie cone is giant which is great if you want to save a little money, but is an issue when your kid can't finish it all and you end up wasting quite a but of money. The portions also make it harder to eat it all before it starts melting everywhere's. Other than that everything else is great. The service is as good as it gets, in my time going there they have never messed up an order and are kind to their customers. Some of the workers do need you to repeat your order once or twice which I find better than not getting your order right. The seating areas are all outdoors and its nice to enjoy during the summer, but can also be awful due to all the mosquitoes there are near the marsh. All together I give DownRiver 4 stars as I have deducted 1/2 a star from the gigantic portions and 1/2 a star for the mosquito prone area. Overall I would recommend stopping by if you're in the area!“

“I had ice cream at THREE top-ranked local ice cream places in the past week. Scoops N More was the best AND the least expensive. The girls behind the counter were so helpful and friendly to me and my family. They had a line out the door and I totally get why. This hole in the wall store is actually an amazing ice cream joint. Maybe the best in the area, imo. Give them a try!“

“I didn’t think Crumbl Cookie was worth the hype…I thought it was just another fad that was popular for a minute and that would not be worth the money. Boy, was I wrong! The cookies are delicious, and the weekly menu is always creative and ever-changing! I’m hooked!“

“In a quest to tap into my childhood, pile driving bowls of Cap'n Crunch, I sought a breakfast spot that boasts a crusted French toast that will send me soaring back to the 90s. Well, move over Mario, it's time for Luigi's to take center stage.Luigi's is a no-frills North Shore diner that excels in greasy spoon comfort breakfast and lunch options with big portions. As mentioned, my personal favorite breakfast option is the perfectly griddled Cap'n Crunch French toast - a delightful crunch on the crust which remains moist and approachable, otherwise. Paired with butter, powdered sugar, and syrup, it may spike your blood sugar, but it's well worth it. For "healthier" fare, the feedback on the veggie omelet was fluffy, fresh, and tasty. The potato sides (both hash browns and home fries) were well-seasoned and plentiful. Coffee is what you'd expect.Amidst the slightly chaotic table setups, find solace at the expansive granite bar top, boasting a dozen or so stools for a cozy dining experience. The service is friendly and reliable, ensuring your cup is never empty. And when warmth graces the months, don't miss the ice cream stand's lineup of Richardson's local favorites.Luigi's captures the essence of a classic diner with finesse, delivering on a diverse menu that's bound to satisfy your cravings. Brace yourself, however, and come hungry!“

“The ice cream is amazing I cannot believe it is so low sugar low fat. Highly recommend the salted caramel flavor. Service is great too you can taste the various flavors before buying. I highly recommend this place and it’s so close to Patton Park - the perfect spot to bring the kids after playing!“
