“End of September 2023 we are here. The business is very busy and a lot of traffic in and out. First time here and I spoke to others here today who said they love it here and the ice cream flavors. Many have been coming for years and are loyal customers. We had single scoop ice cream on a waffle cone. I used to make home made ice cream for a restaurant and know when it is flavored well. I had the cookies and cream which was chocolate ice cream, and had good flavor to it. I'm not here to eat a pint of ice cream at once so the one scoop was plentiful. About $5 for a small which is a single scoop, again plenty for me. I also picked up a doggy cup which was just under $5. But there was plenty of vanilla cream in the cup with a large cookie on top. Many places give a very small amount of cream and a small milk bone and charge $5 for a doggy bowl. There was plenty for my dog to eat. We were here for 25 minutes and counted about 30 cars in and out with loads of people waiting in line, on this cloudy and cooler afternoon. I would have to say that Benson's is doing something right to draw in this many people on a cloudy September evening. I am sorry those others have had a not so great visit. Perhaps you might take a break for a bit and come back with an open mind. You may have a better opinion.“

It tasted like soggy grape nuts so at least you don't chip a tooth; you either love it or hate it. I decided to stick to my faves, chocolate peanut butter & pistachio. The pistachio flavoring was off, a bit too pistachio-y, if that's even possible. But the chocolate peanut butter hit the spot. Hubby got the milk & cookies & that was yummy too. “Can't believe I've lived in Andover since 1983 and have never been here. The adventure began with the aroma of chocolate when you walk in - amazing. I did a quick jog through the candy store and vowed to take my granddaughters here during their next visit. Next ordered lunch: chicken BLT which was so fresh. Bacon was crispy and they remembered to not add guacamole. Next came the sundae: their list in-house of flavors that are made on site doesn't match the online list (butter crunch ) but the substituted butter pecan was delicious. My only complaint of the day was that the rich, flavorful butterscotch sauce was room temp and not at all heated. All staff were friendly and attentive. Everything felt nostalgic which was so nice. I'll be back.“

“I went to La Dolce Vita on Friday for my mom's birthday and it was definitely worth the 2 hour drive. I'm originally from Connecticut, I saw them on Instagram and the atmosphere looked so nice and fun I decided to take my mother. From the moment you walk in there's lots of smiles everyone is very friendly and super attentive. They attended us very quickly and when they saw that there was no seating they quickly helped us got us chairs and clean the table off for us they even went as far as helping us with pictures. The atmosphere is great I also loved how they play Christian music in the background making the atmosphere child friendly and also peaceful. Everyone there is so nice and friendly I can't wait to go back again. If you do stop by try their pistachio macaroons they are delicious!“

“We go to Nella's Pizza at least once a week. It's my kid's favorite pizza place. They are by far my favorite non-wood burning stove pizza place. Everyone is extremely friendly and I've never had bad service from them. During the summer they also sell Gelato which is a nice treat on a hot day.“

The girls behind the counter were so helpful and friendly to me and my family. They had a line out the door and I totally get why. This hole in the wall store is actually an amazing ice cream joint.
