“We were in town for a convention. We were a group of 16. I worked with Chris to set up a menu for our group. He was amazing! He made all the right suggestions and the food was delicious. We had a 9 year old in the group and Chris made sure that he had exactly what he wanted. The evening was terrific. Service and food was superb. We would definitely go back if we are in town again. A big thank you to Chris and the entire staff!”

“I have always loved Richards! Recently i ordered a catering order -30 sandwiches with chips, drinks, cookies the whole 9. I chose to pick up and they helped me load my car, we’re super friendly, and everyone absolutely loved the sandwiches! Shortly after i left, they called saying they had forgotten to give us our water. I didn’t have time to go back, so I suggested that they just credit me. Instead, they went above and beyond and delivered the waters to the conference I was hosting!!!! Highly recommend”

“I’ve driven by this place for years and never realized it was here. Stopped in after a long day of work, absolutely starving. The staff were all super friendly—Casey, in particular, was incredibly kind to us, especially my daughter. The food was fantastic. The fish and chips really hit the spot, and both the Brussels sprouts and wings were top-notch. The full bar looked great, too. I’ll definitely have to come back during some “adult time” to check it out properly. It’s always tough to find a well-made Old Fashioned—guess we’ll see!”

My journey began as I walked through the hallowed doors of Olive Garden, where the aroma of endless breadsticks and the faint whisper of Alfredo sauce linger in the air like a divine hymn. The hostess led me to my table, but little did I know that fate itself had seated me in Serj’s section.

From the moment he approached, it was clear I wasn’t dealing with an ordinary waiter. No. Serj appeared at my table as though descending from the heavens—apron neatly tied, pen at the ready, posture strong, eyes twinkling with the kind of confidence that says, “I can carry six soup bowls in one hand and refill your water before you even realize you’re thirsty.”

He introduced himself with the grace of a Broadway performer and the sincerity of a man who truly understands the weight of unlimited salad. “Hi, I’m Serj, I’ll be taking care of you today.” Taking care of me? Friend, Serj didn’t just take care of me. He shepherded me through a culinary odyssey.

When I asked for extra breadsticks, he didn’t just bring them—he presented them, like a knight returning from battle with treasure for his king. When I inquired about the difference between the Tour of Italy and the Chicken Alfredo, Serj’s explanation was so detailed, I felt like I had just attended a TED Talk on pasta-based decision-making. He gestured with such passion toward the menu, I half expected him to pull out a laser pointer and pie charts.

At one point, I dropped my fork. Before it even hit the floor, Serj materialized with a replacement, as though he had foreseen this in a prophetic vision earlier that morning. Truly, this man must have Spidey-sense, but instead of crime, his powers are tuned to the vibrations of clattering cutlery.

Midway through the meal, he checked in—not too much, not too little. Like Goldilocks’ ideal bowl of porridge, his timing was just right. I imagine Serj keeps an internal clock, finely calibrated to the digestive rhythms of mankind.

But the true climax of this saga came with dessert. I was full. Stuffed, even. Yet Serj, with the persuasive power of a seasoned diplomat, described the Warm Italian Doughnut's with such poetic elegance that I found myself ordering one. Reader, I devoured it, tears of joy streaming down my face, while Serj nodded knowingly in the background, like a mentor watching his pupil achieve greatness.

In conclusion, Serj is not a waiter. He is an experience. A legend. A national treasure. If Olive Garden ever creates a Hall of Fame, Serj’s apron should be the first item enshrined within.

Go to Olive Garden. Ask for Serj. And prepare yourself.”

“Exactly what you want in a little sandwich shop, good food, soup, and a grumpy old man behind the counter. Is he a little abrupt? Sure, but maybe you would be too if you spent the last 40 years telling people to order at the other counter under the two very obvious signs I somehow missed. The shop is definitely a throwback and feels very nostalgic. We will be back again for sure. Oh its cashier only so don't forget to bring some or hit the atm.”

“Wow! I just tried Resignation IPA from Two Weeks Notice Brewery and it is really good.
Very well done hazy IPA. Smooth, not bitter, very flavorful. I will be buying this again in the future.
My wife likes it and she hates most IPAs.

Michele was our main contact and I'm quite certain she could manage a wedding reception in her sleep! The value and location were two of the main reasons we chose Storrowton Carriage House for our ceremony and reception. This venue had so much included in the package price and didn't nickel and dime us for things like champagne toasts (included in price), linens and table settings (included), and the option to borrow centerpieces. The food was EXCEPTIONAL! We had so many guests share this sentiment with us the day of and immediately after. We wholeheartedly recommend Storrowton Tavern & Carriage House!”

My family arrived here in two cars for dinner, with a rollator for my mobility limited mother, to find a sign on the door saying that they were closed for a special event that day. While we were figuring out what to do instead, a man came outside to tell us that we could come in to eat before the event because there was enough time! We appreciated the kindness very much. The food is great, too! I love the samosas. 5/5 stars, great experience 👍”

“I placed an order for 2 milkshakes and a large Cajun fry. The lady who took our order definitely messed up my milkshake. It tasted like straight vanilla. I went back up to the counter and waited a good 30 seconds before the guy taking other peoples orders saw me standing there and got someone’s attention. The name on my receipt was Isaac R. I really hope Isaac gets the recognition he deserves because he made sure my order got fixed and even made sure I was happy with the new milkshake before I left. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and satisfied before I even got close to the door. His customer service was 10/10. (I was having a terrible day before this and wanted a milkshake because they’re always so good. He definitely made my night!)”

Salad was fresh and perfect amount of tomatoes and cucumbers. Great ending to a long day. I’ll be having lasagna for breakfast.”

“My finance, sister and fiances brother went there for the first time on Saturday, March 25th. The bartender was unbelievably rude. The bar was not very busy but because my fiance took the bartender away from chatting with her friends when he asked to have his keno numbers played, she was visibly annoyed that she had to come over to us and told my fiance to sit closer to the machine because it was "rude to have her do it from where we were sitting" and then proceed to roll her eyes at us. (we were sitting at that bar). When she came back, I asked her to not roll her eyes at us, at which point she became confrontational and stated "I'll do whatever the f I want". We left shortly after because of the poor service confrontational atmosphere and as we were leaving she yelled "don't come back".”

“This has been hit or miss for me. The tuna rice app is my favorite. The menu changes seasonally and it seems like the popular stuff gets removed. Not sure if the seasonal cider flight contains alcohol or not, if it does it could be dangerous. The service has always been really nice and attentive.”
