“Came to the Northampton area of Massachusetts during spring break and did some exploring and enjoying the local foods. On our way home we stopped in. Was looking for ice cream on our way home and stopped in, the ice cream was delicious. Ended up having peanut butter chocolate and I believe it was s'mores. ? Would love to come back here and try out the other selections, they also have penny candy as well.“

“Charming cafe! Everything tasted great: got a maple cappuccino and an everything-seasoning avocado toast. If I could make a suggestion, the avocado would be easier to eat mashed since it would stick to the bread better and help hold the toppings on while you're taking a bite (the carrot kind of falls off everywhere.) Limited parking in front of the door, but there's a lot across the road at the medical building that seems to be unmonitored. Plenty of tables and free WiFi“

“Beautiful atmosphere, very clean inside, the food is authentic mediterranean, the staff is wholesome and the owner is very generous, you ask for 2, you get double. I have been driving there over 30 minutes for the past couple of years for an individual order or a family order and I never regret it.“

“It was too dark inside to take photos. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you though I don't know how they find you without a number. In fact we had some items missing and had to ask for them. They have some canned drinks and help yourself water- nothing fancy at all. The staff were really friendly. It's very loud inside and can be difficult to find a seat on a Saturday night. They were running out of menu items quickly but luckily there were some vegan options still available. I tried the Hainan cauliflower & rice which I do NOT recommend. It was like a ramen but not nearly as good. The flavors almost canceled each other out somehow and it was so salty that's basically all I could taste. I also tried the bbq tempeh grinder which was very flavorful. It reminded me of the hot dogs in spaghetti oh's back in the day. It could use more vegetables on the sandwich in my opinion. I'd recommend trying this grinder out even if you aren't vegan. Speaking of vegan, there are no vegan desserts unfortunately but it was really nice to see so many vegan dinner options. I ended up with a stomach afterwards but I'd eat that tempeh grinder again (in hopes that wasn't the cause) and possibly try some of their other vegan meals. I do hope they succeed.“

“Not gonna lie. When I first stopped here I thought it was the little house in the front. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the building in the back. We had a delicious breakfast that was very fresh. Staff we very friendly and it's a cozy sport to sit and enjoy some food.“

“Fantastic meal!By far the best Mexican food for miles and miles around. It was clearly made with love. Flavorful, and made with excellent technique.I just over ate because I literally could not bear the thought of any of this food going to waste. Had I not been dining out, I might have licked the plate.“

“Seriously talented bakers in this sourdough only establishment. By far the best bakery in the valley and is not surpassed by many farther. Would recommend everything on the menu if not to lookout for burnt bread. My favs are: Rosemary, French round, country, chocolate chip cookie, and their cinnamon buns. However, cannot go wrong in general. Staff are acceptable and occasionally rude, dumb COVID policy and don’t mention their challah to the owner. Tip: ask for sourdough starter.“

“Everything about this place was excellent! The service was top notch and friendly; food was delicious, healthy and wholesome; and drinks/dessert were the best. Great ambiance and a relaxing chill place after the pilgrimage to Vt to experience the full eclipse. Even had a yummy ginger margarita to celebrate! Highly recommend the lunch Parmesan salmon w salad, baked brown rice and complimentary twig tea with the coconut cream pie and chocolate torte for dessert! Amazing! Great establishment that we will be sure to visit again!“

“This is a quirky place. Very limited menu. There are only 6 dinner choices plus an additional couple specials. It wasn't easy to find something for everyone but the food we chose was excellent. We had fried chicken and biscuit and the dumplings for apps. Both were very good. I ended up with the braised short ribs with a fried potato cake. It was really delicious. The potato was outstanding!! My husband had crab cakes and roasted potatoes, which he enjoyed. The wait staff were great. Super friendly and they were all dressed cute with space buns in their hair. They definitely enhanced the experience. I wouldn't rush back just because there aren't enough choices but the food is quality and what we had we really enjoyed.“

“Falafel plate and salmon crepe combo are a match made in heaven! Situated a little on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of town, which I loved for the relative quiet. The outdoor seating is simple and nice. The only downfall is that the staff seemed like they really didn't want to be there...“
“I hadn’t been to Quarters in 4-5 years. Thrilled to find you have improved your menu immensely! Love the vegetarian/vegan options. I will definitely be there more frequently. The games are always fun and I love showing my daughter the games I loved as a kid.“

“Food–Some of the best in Massachusetts. (I suggest the stake and cheese soft shell taco with hot sauce!)Service–Fantastic, absolutely fantastic.Atmosphere–There's a disco ball, I mean how can they NOT have great atmosphere?!Anyways, I apologize for what my little brother said (if you heard it at all). He didn't really know what he was doing, and it was the only Spanish he knew.–Buenas Tardes Guy.“
“Sitting in Progression right now, listening to some tasty light jazz (no cover, btw:). As always, the taproom manager, Chris, is omnipresent, making sure everyone is happy as possible. The staff is always so friendly and it creates such a great atmosphere (shout-out to Brittney).I am a beer snob, and let me tell you, all the styles are at the high end. Mostly wonderfully hoppy IPA's, but also a lovely Kolsch, and terrific stout are available today. There are even 3 different hard seltzers for the non beer lovers out there.Food is pub style, of course. The menu is a bit limited, but top notch.Highly recommended for a fun night out that doesn't break the bank“

“While the burgers are average in size, they are not very big but not small either; my teenage boy needed 2 burgers to fill him. Average burger here cost $8-14 each. Two burgers = $18 and does not come with any accompaniments. That’s about what it'll cost for one big burger including sides at a nice restaurant like the North Hampton brewery we had originally wanted to go.If you just buy a burger and add a side like the fried rings or fries, you’re also out about $15-18/pp.So, you really only save not having to pay service charges at a fancier place but otherwise it’s not cheap.Google list this as “fast food” just so you know it’s not fast food prices. It’s in between ff and a diner.I wish they didn’t use peanut oil for all the fried foods limiting options for those who are allergic (their other new brunch doesn’t use peanut oil). Also, find the Oreo milkshake overly blended. That said, the burgers are very delicious! All the patties are identical in quality and size. They add toppings and sauces to give varieties to your choice eg teriyaki burger has a pineapple slice and sweet sauce added to it.The staff are also awesome and deserve a A plus shout out.Atmosphere is nice, college goers and great for families too. Cool to see family operated business thriving in a small town.“

“Fantastic coffee! I had a latte with maple cardamom and it was amazing. I’m just visiting and will miss it so much! Breakfast food was great too. Good pricing and the train cart is so cute. 10/10 recommend. A must do if you are in north Hampton.“

“Pros: -Absolutely adorable exterior & interior vibe -outdoor seating -quick service -sweet and savory options I wished there was a chocolate pie option, but there were some other chocolate sweets available and I should have tried. The hand pie we tried had a delicious buttery & flaky dough and I think I preferred it to the apple pie. If I were back in the area I'd try another hand pie and one of the chocolate offerings!“

“Excellent food! Good service! Quaint little place right in downtown Northampton! Easy walking from side streets! We have been here several times! This visit we had Bangkok Chicken, Crispy Pad Thai, Prik Pow Fried Rice w Pork, Taro Bubble tea and money bag appetizers! The main course dishes (Pad Thai and Bangkok Chicken) were amazing. The tapioca in the bubble tea was still warm and very sticky it wasn't very good tea. The Pork Prik Pow Fried rice came w chicken instead of the pork we ordered, but was still fantastic! The money bags were awesome. We had a nice lunch here today! Thank you!!!“

“Amazing experience; great prices, good atmosphere, chill music & decor. The food was delicious, well made, generous portions & the service was wonderful. Love this place. Found it because a pretentious cafe on the block was charging a $2 markup on their menu prices with the excuse that “the new menus hadn’t come in” - walked away and found this gem in contrast, so glad that other place sucked! ? Now we know the best in the area! ❤️ The exquisite labneh is gluten free, so you can totally get a gf wrap, no problem, no markup! Friggin awesome! Loads of vegan options. Don’t love that swordfish is on the menu, but I love everything else about this place & the espresso is fabulous. They have beer & coffee, and espresso-based drinks as well.“

“Ate late breakfast there today, February 28. I am celiac so was grateful there are GF options on the menu. I was going to order the huevos rancheros but our server, Connor, checked with the kitchen and they could not guarantee that the corn tortillas were gluten free. I am very grateful to our server that he took the time to make sure I would not be exposed to gluten. I ordered the eggs in purgatory instead and it was delicious. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and said it was great. Thank you to Connor for taking good care of me. Going out to eat with celiac disease can be anxiety inducing and Connor should be commended for his care.“

“This place is AMAZING!First let’s address these other reviews. We live an hour out and we have had the alternatives of our area. None compare. One visit to this location will clear up any confusion in the negative reviews.First off it’s clean and all the staff are very attentive. As for their demeanor, they are not performers. They are there to cultivate a food experience that makes you smile and most likely do a happy dance. The flavor is well balanced and even some heat to some of the dishes gives you more to explore. There are options for all walks of life and at no cost to the flavor. The food is well priced and the lassi are refreshing. Service is impeccable.10/10Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options ?“

“Love their food, always a great dine in experience, but take out was a nightmare. Waited an extra 30 minutes for our order. Ordered online at 7:09, estimated pickup of 20-35 minutes. Yes, they were busy, but food was not ready until after 8. Lots of other people also waiting for food. Perhaps update your online ordering system? Stewed beef soup, Orange Beef, Seaweed Salad. All very tasty. Hot and Sour Soup was cold, (and we live 2 blocks away.)“

“I was visiting from out of town and was so impressed with this find! I'm sad that I don't think I'll ever be through there again ?. Javi is a wealth of information and skills at the bar. I had an excellent mezcal margarita and a top shelf margarita. Both were excellent and I learned they just got #1 margarita in the Valley. With homemade margarita mix, it is well deserved. The also make horchata in house. The chips and tortilla are made in house and I learned their tortillas in stores etc. The chips are slightly thicker with more crunch and a little darker. Very good chips. I had a delicious shrimp ceviche and veggie fajitas. The shrimp ceviche had an array of fruit flavors and tomato. Plenty of medium whole shrimp, they did not cut them up. Javi was very nice to also ask me if I was ok with cheese on my beans in light of his observation of me getting a meatless meal, he was considerate to ask me about the dairy conflict. I was impressed with the menu and wish I could have stayed to have their plantains, yucca, and mole options. There was one female server, I think she is Javi's sister or cousin. She was extremely friendly to all the customers and the two of them handled the room with a breeze. This place is a must if you enjoy Mexican restaurants as a passion.Vegetarian options: There was an avocado next to the veggie options. There was plenty to choose from.“
“Bela is a vegan staple in Northampton. They serve wholesome, delicious food that is never boring and always hits the spot. The small dining room makes for a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Also the cakes are amazing!Just take care to bring cash with you. :)“

“Overall Fitzwilly’s is a great restaurant. The service and atmosphere meets expectations. My only criticism is their pricing. Their meal prices don’t justify the quality & taste of it. Don’t get me wrong the food is good, but not so good to justify their higher prices.“

“Tandem bagel is absolutely delicious! Perfect and delectable bagels with a ton of flavor. They’re huge and always well made. They’re warm and crispy, and are just incredible. Tandem’s bagels and wraps are absolutely packed with toppings, and are super high quality. My personal favorite is the Asiago bagel, with the cheese complementing the bagel perfectly. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Moreover, the bagels are relatively cheap for the quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area who wants to check it out!“

“Dear Tart/Catalpa Coffee, I was a regular at CatalpaCoffee for years but because of your reduced evening hours have had to switch to Ana Banderia on Main St. I am there now and it is bustling and full of customers at 6:16 pm on a cold Thursday in February. It makes me sad that Catalpa is not open and bustling as well.“

“Nourish is one of my favorite places in the world. The food is truly nourishing and delicious. And more than that, there is a nourishing feeling, an authentic kindness and care that Casey, the owner, and the others give off. It’s the real deal and clearly comes from a deep sense of heart. I always loved this place but after my husband died, it was the only place I ever wanted to go. The staff was so kind and declared Nourish a “safe space” to be however I happened to show up that day. It’s an unusual thing to go get a nori roll or smoothie and also feel loved and held. This place literally gives me faith in humanity and community. I’m grateful for all the abundant levels of nourishment and care.“

“Pros: -Loved the three amigos ice cream--great texture with the 3 mix ins, and the toffee was not the kind that makes me worry for my teeth, just added a nice texture! Would get again. -Solid service Cons: -Prices a bit high for the kiddie sizes ($7+ for the small bites pictured), probably better value to just go up a size!“

“I'm very happy with the food I got at Filos Greek Tavern. The atmosphere is quite fitting for a Greek restaurant. I didn't like the stone benches for the booths. They look cool, but are not that comfortable. Still worth the visit for the food. They have specials to mix things up and seem to always have a buy one large pizza and get a small one free deal.Dietary restrictions: It is easy to avoid gluten here with several dishes marked as gluten free. It seems their falafel is gluten free and they have gluten free wraps. The pitas seem to have gluten unfortunately.Parking: This is in the downtown area, so you will have a hard time finding parking during busy times like on the weekends. Either go during off hours or park elsewhere and expect to walk.“

“It doesn't disappoint. The food, beer and cocktails were expertly curated and crafted. “I work at a local outpatient medical office and have a clocked lunch break. Maggin was the staff member who took my pick up order over the phone, she was so very kind, quick and efficient. Maggin was also at the register when I picked up my order, and even more kind in person including complimenting my personal appearance. I haven’t visited this location in over 5 years and I must say, this is a perfect location for this restaurant. I love my Turkey & Chipotle on Asiago as always and it’s my first time ordering a Tropical Dream smoothie, which is perfectly blended and delicious. Thanks !!“

“I LOVE the food here! However, it was already quite expensive and they’ve just raised the prices. Do yourself a favor and don’t order the mac & cheese. It’s delicious but it went from $6.50 to $9.50 overnight; and the last time I ordered it, the container was only 2/3 full.“

“I really enjoyed this location. It's the first time that I've been to it. I don't live in Northhampton, but it would be a stopping point if I get back there. We visited this place on 12.31.23. Had to sit at the bar which was fine with us. The bartender was fairly attentive. The atmosphere was very good, and everybody was so social and enjoyable to talk to at the bar. We just ordered a pizza and it was plenty for both of us. The style of pizza is thin crust and it's cooked in a brick oven as per the name. I'm going to guess that you should call for a reservation if you want to be seated. Of course we were there on New Year's Eve as mentioned, so seating was impossible, except they do have open seating at the bar, which was our saving grace.“

“Spoleto‘s Continues to provide outstanding cuisine. We have been customers since Spoleto was located on the south end of Main Street up to it’s latest iteration next to the railroad station. The food is great, the parking is free, the wait staff are excellent and all is good. Since all good food requires time in preparation when it doesn’t come out of a frozen locker; the wait time can be longer than McDonald’s, however, nothing better than sitting and sipping while waiting. A great New England experience.“
