“I recently checked out Van Leeuwen and it was such a delightful experience! Their homemade ice creams are incredibly creamy, with fun flavors. I got honeycomb and brown sugar cookie dough and it was very yummy. The staff are super friendly and the interior is great for taking pictures, with bright colors and decor. Highly recommended.“

“During the summer you can get the ice cream from outside, in the winter you go into the shop. There is a good selection, and the flavors taste good. Bunch of young workers, so keep that in mind. Unfortunately they don't have a bathroom inside for customers which was pretty disappointing.“

“This is hands down the best pistachio and strawberry ice cream I’ve ever tasted! The flavors are so rich and authentic, with a perfect balance of sweetness that truly brings out the taste of fresh pistachios and ripe strawberries. The cone was incredible – crisp, buttery, and freshly made, making it the ideal complement to the creamy ice cream. Every bite was a delight, and I honestly can’t praise it enough. Without a doubt, this is my favorite ice cream spot in Boston, and I can’t wait to come back!“

“i got richie,s slush for the first time this year, I was so excited!, but then i noticed i think richie's slush changed their recipe for their slush. it just dont taste the same. I dont know if it was do to covid? But I do know it dont taste the same. It tastes more like a sherbet or sorbet. but its definitely not slush. so dispointed! #richie'slush“

“I was soooooo excited to try this place out! My partner and I came in for an evening snack after up from LI NY. We aren’t vegan, but I need to eat fully dairy-free for health reasons. There aren’t really many fully plant-based bakeries/scoop shops like this where we live so this was such a treat. We both got hot cocoa (since it was a cold night!), and got a small cup of grasshopper and apple cider donut ice cream. Everything was so good – I’m missing it now… the ice cream had such a soft, almost stretchy texture (hard to describe? but it’s an attribute of dairy ice cream as well) which was so delicious.
Dietary restrictions: Allergens are listed on the menu (soy, gluten, etc).“

“Thank you! I tried your dairy free Black Raspberry Oreo, and it’s a game changer! Finally a dairy free ice cream that has the right consistency and tastes like actual ice cream. I was so excited that I could taste the black raspberry without any hint of almonds/sunbutter/coconut as is always the case at other places. Cal’s Creamery is the best! PS - my husband loved your baklava flavor!“

The main man himself, Anthony, has regularly been super helpful whenever I come in. He remembers specifics and caters to exactly what I am looking for. “The ice cream is above average. It can be a bit expensive though. Service is a hit or miss, sometimes you get a smiling and friendly cashier, sometimes you get the unfriendly one (I do turn around and leave when I get the latter). The space is kind of small so when it gets too crowded I have seen people eating their ice cream standing up, outside.“

Parking: There’s a paid parking lot right next to it, but the parking meter didn’t work. We parked without paying but nothing bad happened on a weekend day.“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Frosty Ice Cream, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The truck itself was brightly decorated and instantly brought a smile to my face. “Breakers is my preferred ice cream shop in Woburn even though I have another shop much closer. Ordering is efficient, orders are fulfilled accurately and quickly, and employees resolve any issues quickly and respectfully. Flavors are posted legibly and the variety of flavors is excellent. There is a parking lot, which is nice, and indoor seating and ordering which is helpful in the winter.“

“Pretty decent ice cream at reasonable prices. Even in a small, you can get two flavors. I got banana and chocolate peanut butter. Both were creamy (banana can get icy) and we t together really well. I wish the peanut butt was better mixed in though as some bites were just massive globs of peanut butter instead of ribbons.“
