I work on main street 2-3 times a week, and live 20 minutes away, but sometimes I still will drive in to pick up a muffin for breakfast--the carrot is my favorite!Vegetarian options: So many good options!“

“I frequently go to the Tavern for lunch. The food and service are always outstanding. My favorite sandwich is the blackened chicken. It has a nice bite to it. It's a quaint tavern. Very clean. I want to commend the owner and his staff on how professional they were yesterday with some patrons who could not control their kids. The moms were too busy drinking their wine to pay attention to the kids. The owner approached the table and asked the kids very politely to please sit down as they were very load and disruptive to those nearby. He even offered to move us as we were sitting right next them. When the women left they had their kids bang on the windows and stood by laughing. I work in the restaurant business myself and I was very impressed with the owner and staff as they tried their best to make our experience at the tavern the best that it could be under the circumstances. Thank you for another wonderful lunch!!!“

“We have been to The Haven often; it is one of our favorite places. This is the first time I have given it fewer than five stars. For some reason, both of our meals -- I had the fish and chips, my wife had a burger -- were particularly greasy and didn't sit well with us afterward. “Absolutely loved it! We had the karami and enmi ramen, and shared the gyoza. We finished every last drop of the ramen and wanted to bathe in the sauce on the gyoza OMG. It was thriving and happening on a Wednesday night, and the waitstaff were lovely and attentive. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!“

I bought some croissants and a Demi baguette - it was foolish of me to think I'd wait till I was home to eat the baguette! Worth the visit and can't wait till I'm back! Unless you are a local I am not sure you’d stumble upon it as it’s hidden on a odd side street off route 16. And that is a SHAME because this place is really good!!! Our server was a young guy who was really nice and once he heard my husband and I speaking Spanish proceeded to serve us in Spanish the rest of the dinner which really felt very welcoming, he had a great vibe and gave us recommendations on the menu since it was our first time.They have SEVERAL Peruvian beers which was really cool, my husband tried a quinoa beer that he liked a lot.We got the ceviche del día which has a mix of seafood. So flavorful and amazing, as Peruvian ceviche always is.We got a specials menu sandwich with chicharrón, sweet potato, pickled onion, and mint that was so freaking delicious. The bread was insanely good, and the chicharrón was soooo crispy on the outside yet not impossible to chew as it sometimes can be if not done right.We also got the ahí de gallina which was very flavorful, I think it was my least favorite because it’s sort of a simple dish and I like things with lots of different elements and textures, but I wanted to try this Peruvian classic and I don’t regret it!Parking: You can park outside of the restaurant where there are signs that say Tambo 22 parking. Maybe around 6 spots?“

“First visit today, although we live somewhat in the neighborhood and I am already kicking myself for not having got here sooner. Red tabbouleh spicing was very punchy and vivid. Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“
