It's a tiny place, which you would think would discourage many. But not here!! That should tell you something. Not only is there a line out the door for 'to-go' ordering, but people filing in and out who ordered ahead - not to mention those ]like myself] willing to wait - cramped - patiently awaiting a seat to open in order to dine in. Ya, to some it might seem more hassle than the hype. But I say the hassle is because the hype is true!! Anything worth having is worthy a bit of struggle to get it. JAC's is an excellent example of that! Thank you to the entire crew for all you do, your hard work and dedication to quality shines through!”

“Small family owned taqueria with really generous portions of traditional Mexican comfort classics. I had the tacos al pastor on authentic soft corn tortillas and they were excellent. Our table started with a platter of enchiladas, some chorizo and some chicken, and they were also really good. There are only four tables for dining in, but it looks like many people get their food for delivery anyway.”

“I was in town this past week for a business conference. Another attendee asked the bartender at our hotel where the best seafood was; and she recommended Belle Isle, stating, "Best Lobster Rolls in the city." So we hopped in an Uber and made our way to Belle Isle. Upon arrival we saw that the restaurant was situated right on the water, with an accessible doc, which hosted, what appeared to be, a functional fishing boat and lobster traps.

The hostess encouraged us to sit where ever we would like. After a quick huddle we sat down at the bar and were immediately greeted by Melissa; who was cheerful, and poured a perfectly cold draft beer. She recommended the Lobster Pie as it was her favorite, but our stomachs were set on the Lobster Rolls as per our hotel bartenders glowing review.

We were not disappointed! The lobster roll was almost too much to handle. The bread that hosted the succulent chunks of claw and tail meat was buttered and toasted to perfection; but hardly the texas bookshelf you'd expect it to be upon seeing how much lobster was piled on top.

We met two locals, Henry and Paula, who also recommended the Lobster Pie, as well as the Clam Chowder. And both of us having never had New England Clam Chowder out of anything other than a soup can, jumped at the opportunity to taste the real thing. Another delicious dish! Best Clam Chowder I've ever had, hands down.

I came back for a second visit, risking missing my flight home to try the Lobster Pie. It was worth every little bit of stress I gained watching my Uber take 5 minutes longer to pick me up than the app predicted. (I made my flight)

If you're looking for a family friendly, yet fun and welcoming environment with seafood that will blow your mind. This is the place to go!”

“Blackstrap is my GO TO for bbq, neighborhood vibes, live music, darts, etc. The staff is so fun, the food and drinks are amazing, it’s comfortable and chill but you still get great service and food/drink. The owners are super hands on and always there, and are such nice and cool people. Definitely recommend, especially for their live music nights! Nothing else like it around here!”

They are stored cold, so let them come to room temp for optimal taste and texture, but I do enjoy!

Way better than gas station muffins with vegetable oil, and they’re lower in fat. A nice treat.

I tried a small taste of each flavor, and the sin-a-muffin, berry blast, cappuccino, and birthday cake were my favs. Some muffins had a soft and fresh texture when at room temp, but others were still harder (maybe not as fresh. Will have to toast them).

I’ll have to come back for more at a later date, but less than $3 a muffin is not bad and it will last me a while as snacks :-)”

“Food was very good. I had the pesto pani. I had a hot chocolate and a cinnamon. Food was very good. The atmosphere was very nice as well. My only complaint was there was no wait and it still took 10min for my food to be ready.”

“Order was misunderstood due to bad cellphone connection. We picked up pizza that was delicious & HOT/fresh; but with incorrect toppings. I called & kindly explained the mishap. SHOUT OUT TO: LOWE (spelling?) Who kindly offered to remake the correct pizza & personally deliver it & did so in a timely/pleasant manner. The corrected “hot” pizza was even more delicious than the first. Highly recommend! PIZZA=A++++ SERVICE=A++++ Delivery=A+++++ We live out of state & are visiting family & we’re craving pepperoni pizza; just like we remembered from 30-40 yrs ago when we were kids.
