“Kate was great to work with when scheduling a fundraiser for our school. She was prompt in responding to emails and in arriving/setting up and in leaving/breaking down. The students loved the ice cream and it was such a big hit, that she returned later that day for the after-school crowd. Thank you, Kate!“
“We hired Cool Cow ice cream truck for my son’s high school graduation. So easy to work with! No fuss. Very punctual and took his time during our event which I appreciated. Everyone, young and old, enjoyed the service and ice cream! Would not hesitate to book again.“
“They added a self order kiosk right when you walk in so saves time from waiting in line to order. Best part is still being able to get your own sauce so you can get a variety or a little bit of each one for enhanced flavor. They always keep it clean inside and the sauce counters are always clean.“
“I finally met him. THE POLISH PRINCE ? ?? I forgot his name already but I found the man to be a spark of the divine and his PEROGGIS tell us the whole story. He has it down perfectly. The dough is a slice of heaven and get this ....he sells OPLATEK!!!!!! Omg so awesome ....my father's siblings would mail him Oplatek every Christmas ? This shop is warm, comforting, inviting and very POLISH! My first generation Father and Grandmother would approve! Power to the Poles! We are such loving people! Poland ?? forever! GOD BLESS ALL.“
“We were thrilled to have Zack’s Ice Cream truck at our event! Their service was top-notch, and the ice cream was a hit with everyone. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring that all our guests were served promptly. The variety of flavors they offered was fantastic, catering to all tastes. Zack’s Ice Cream truck added a delightful and delicious touch to our event, and we highly recommend them for any occasion“
“Cool crepe cafe. Offers gluten free options. Tried 4 crepes, 2 were great, 2 were not. Just depends on what flavors you like together. You can build your own crepe too. Thought the white hot Cocoa was weird at first but it grew on me and I liked it.“
“A true gem! It used to be located in Somerville near Tufts and was a favorite of college kids and neighborhood families, and has quickly become a Winchester staple. If you're a chocolate fan, the flourless chocolate cookies and cocoa joel ice cream are both to die for. The nutella or oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies are delicious if you're feeling extravagant. I'm also a fan of the salted caramel and cow trax ice creams. Overall, you can't go wrong! Some pretty solid vegan and gluten free options. It's a cute place with a few tables, and there are various benches nearby in downtown Winchester if the store is full.A tip: you can get just ice cream, a half hoagie (a small ice cream with one cookie), or a whole hoagie (a full sandwich with two cookies). The whole hoagie is fun as a concept but is somewhat impractical to eat and is a lot of food -- I would recommend just getting a half hoagie and using your spoon to scoop ice cream onto the cookie as you eat. That way you get both cookie + ice cream at once without the cookies crumbling and ice cream everywhere.“
“The perfect ending to the perfect wedding. We had Frosty come towards the end of my son's wedding reception as a surprise to everyone. After a fun night of eating, drinking and dancing it was the perfect ending. What fun so many guests posted pictures having an ice cream. The attendant was fun and helpful and moved quickly. I highly recommend Frosty for any occasion, who doesn't love an ice cream!“
“I hired Papi's for a summer party of about 100 people. The Papi's team was professional, efficient, friendly, and the food was delicious. We did run out of sopapillas after about 90 minutes, but I think that's because guests were quick to get seconds. So consider that if you hire them for your event: people will want to try more than one! I had the vegetarian caprese sopapilla and it was delightful. I would definitely work with Papi's again (especially it it involved their dessert sopapillas which sound delicious).“
“Hands down, the Best BBQ in Greater Boston. Best of all, it's cheaper than a flight to Texas. Place is a garage in Union Square with no seating - it's takeout only. The guy that runs the spot is super passionate about the craft and was kind enough to chat and explain the process. Only caveat is that the brisket sells out fairly early. The sides are very good, don't sleep on them. Between this place, BT's in Sturbridge and Rusty Can in Byfield - the New England *good* Q scene is slowly improving.“
“When my wife ordered a cup of borsch, I was skeptical. Having tasted many different versions of authentic borsch I know what the real borsch tastes like. When I realized it was served cold, I became even more suspicious. But when I tasted it I was completely blown away with the taste and the texture. It was absolutely amazing! It is not your traditional borsch, for sure. But it captures its essence and does it in the most exquisite way, it's a kind of twist on a familiar dish you would expect from the greatest chefs. The fries were excellent, too. I regret not ordering the other soup from the menu, it must have been delicious as well. Hopefully next time!“
“Would have liked to give this place a 5 but the state of the kitchen was a little anxiety inducing to anyone observant enough to peek inside. Prep was not done and although we were the only people who ordered, our sandwiches took about 10minutes to assemble. We ordered the lamb sando and the porchetta. The lamb left something to be desired but the porchetta was delightful. Delicious sandwich.“
“This is one step above fast food, but the chicken is among the best anywhere! The portions are large (the 10-piece nuggets is good for 2-3 meals!). They also have a full salad bar if you want something more healthful. I only wish they were open later (you typically can't get anything hot after around 7:30 or 8 pm).“
“This was our first stop in Boston for lunch after traveling into the city. Not only was the food some of the best street tacos I’ve had, the cook was the nicest person. He was so genuine and was very accommodating to GF/DF. He and the food was the a bright spot as we started our time in Boston! We ate our delicious tacos too quickly to take a picture. But we got beef and potato and the chicken tinga and they were SO good! Not bad to eat overlooking Boston Commons either.“
“As a West Coast transplant, it’s hard to find good Mexican street food. There are many great Mexican restaurants in Boston, but Mexican street food? Harder to find. That’s why Taqueria Don Roge is a treat. It’s genuine street food cooked and tastes the way you want street food to taste. They have more vegetarian options than I was expecting, which is a nice touch too. What makes this place stand out beyond taste is price. Food is expensive in Boston, we know this. This place has some of the best prices in the state.“
“Their brick and mortar location is perfect. Everything on the menu is lights out and their specials are always outstanding...plenty of parking as well and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Easily my favorite breakfast spot in Charlestown, where everywhere else is crowded, generic and overpriced.“
“Awesome place for some Mexican food in Boston. When it comes to tortas in Boston, choices are pretty limited, so this was a nice fine. The chips and guacamole are nice, and the salsa isn't bad. The torta campechana was nice, though next time I think I'll try the tenoch instead. The torta was a great size, and was wrapped nicely (so, easy to eat). The inside of the restaurant is on the small side, so while you might find a place to sit, you might need to go somewhere else to eat.“
“I stumbled upon Naco Taco truck when I was waiting for an appointment on Newbury Street that I arrived early for. I ordered a couple of tacos not so much because I was hungry but just because I needed to kill time. I was blown away with the flavor, freshness and value.I ended up calling and asking if they did private truck rentals - and sure enough they did! I was STOKED at how well Naco Taco went over with my party. It was a High School Graduation for 150 people and EVERYONE raved about the food: Greatest thing was, hard to tell who loved it more..... the kids or the adults! The Cod and Shrimp Tacos were surprise hits but all of them and the sides were amazing. A bin of iced Jarittos and other sodas was a nice touch along with warm, friendly service....what more could you ask for?I guess the only disappointment was how good the food was. I mean, my grill and meats are usually the star of the show.....and I'm not lying - they were amazing that day LOL - but most of the props went out to Naco Taco.I will definitely use them again for a future function and if you are in the neighborhood of the truck on Newbury, their restaurant in Cambridge or the food hall in Boston...I suggest you run and not walk to get there - just great food!“
“The holy grail of the Boston food truck scene, Moyzilla is as good as it gets. Such great food and you can tell its cooked from the heart. They also can do it all from street vending to catering; catering from Moyzilla brings smiles to everyones faces for sure! Can't beat a meal box either.“
“We had the food truck for Memorial Weekend at our hotel - Sea Crest Beach Hotel - North Falmouth, Cape Cod. Gourmet Kreyol was just amazing. Such great people, delicious food. Natalie & hear team were just out of the world best! Was nice to work with you and looking forward to many more :)“
