“Super cool and unique place! I run a day trip service for women and brought some of my Daytrippers for High Tea and we all enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious, we loved the decor in the restaurant and the shop was a lot of fun to look around too. So much to see! Oh, and the teacup truck was really neat and made for a fabulous photo op! I look forward to bringing more Daytrippers out in the future!”

The store's ambience is calming and the cleanliness is topnotch. I usually order beef teriyaki and it's superb each time. For a fastfood, this is the best option being newly made!”

“We had a delightful meal here Saturday night. We highly recommend this place. The restaurant was tidy, food hot, spicy and delicious. The owners were pleasant and the injera was served in generous amounts. We had two orders of the (Tana mi) beef and vegetable platter as well as dora tibs (chicken). It was more than enough for 4 adults with big appetites. We recommend the Ethiopian spicy tea as well.”

We had incredible service and she got us promptly on our way with our meals packaged up to enjoy later! “Favourite burger in town! Requested the Eastside Mac burger tonight even though it wasn’t the special and they made it up for us no problem. That burger is always amazing, the portions are huge, great bang for your buck and the server tonight went above and beyond. She was fantastic.”

“So much for Mothers Day. We ordered drinks after sitting 5 minutes. they arrived okay. Ordered lunch for the 2 of us (keep in mind restaurant not busy)), my husband's steak arrived, without onions he ordered, and piled high with mushrooms not ordered. and he was almost finished eating when waitress came and commented "did I send my food back?" I said. it never arrived...she came back and said., mix up in kitchen, they will cook your fish and chips quickly. 10 minutes later, I asked for a coffee..so I had something. 10 minutes after that, my fish arrived..the breading was so hard, I used husbands steak knife to cut it, fish dried out. I left 90 percent , couldn't eat it My coffee arrived, over 10 minutes after ordered, cold and stale. Waitress did comp our meals, but we would have gladly paid and had nice time out. Never again will we enter their doors.”

We had both prepaid tickets for our guests and the rest was cash bar and it was run so smoothly. The food was delicious. The salads were amazing and we did a chicken dinner with veggies and mashed potatoes. Everything turned out fantastic. Huge shout out to Brett for being super friendly, accomodating, and helping us stay within our budget! 10/10 recommend”

As a trucker with limited options on a regular basis never mind with Covid rules in place limiting things more - I greatly appreciated that as typically no other drive throughs I’ve been to in many different cities have this option! “Overall great experience. Buffet had a variety of options such as: wonton soup, fried rice, noodles, chicken balls, deep fried shrimp, chicken wings, stirred veggie dishes and more. There were also some unique dishes such as: Thai soup, Szechuan chicken, steamed buns/rolls, bbq pork and scallops. Fresh fruit and veggies, as well as cake/ice cream for dessert. Everything was warm, empty trays were refilled quickly and the restaurant was sparkling clean. Will be back again as everything we tried was delicious. Congratulations on your opening!”

“Haven't been in Brandon for a very long time. Was back recently and had to visit this DQ for their traditional March 1 annual opening. No matter how cold, they open March 1. The day I went it was in the -30's Celsius and windy. Enjoyed my ice cream as always. Used to go to this DQ all the time when I lived on Brandon. Nice to see that they are still there!”
