Honesty a lot of restaurants I've been to have been a bit subpar when it comes to more hearty meals, which is okay don't get me wrong. This place however had pulled pork sandwiches that were by no means under filled and most of the drinks you get will be served in Mason jars, this is how I'd cook at home and I love it.
Recently went to Julep for the second time and the food did not disappoint. During our first visit, I had the Chicken Breast Sandwich, which was excellent. This last visit, I had Memphis Pulled Pork...so good! Others with me, ordered and LOVED the Meatloaf Entree. We also got an order of the Homemade Biscuits to start off with. Really nice lunch and smoked old fashioned cocktails -- our server Johnathan was fabulous despite working his tail off behind the bar as well. We opted for the sampler and an extra side which was more than enough to feed 2 adults.
