“In the area for a hair cut and decided pupusas sounded good for lunch. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and ordered at the counter. I was given a menu and after perusing I decided on the pollo guisado for my entree and a pork and cheese pupusa. The pupusa came out first with a slaw and sauce. The slaw was mostly pickled and less saucy but paired well with the pupusa. The guisado was served on a plate with a scoop of rice, side salad, 2 more pupusas and a container of refried beans. The guisado was stewed chicken drums and wings with potatoes and carrots in a tomatoes based broth. The pupusas were perfect to use to scoop up the sauce. Pretty great for an afternoon delight. Would come back again.“
“Came here to visit Raul n Roxana, the sweetest people in the world. We wandered in on a night where a patron rep was engraving bottles for the tequila club. We enjoyed the shrimp ceviche, which was one of the best things we ate all night. The cheese dip and the guacamole were great too, not too salty for chips either. We had the mango marg, which was my absolute favorite drink I had last night! Just sweet enough! For dinner we had an assortment of enchiladas, pupusas, and fajitas. The plantains were amazing! “The best chicken quesadillas you will ever have in your life! I’m normally not a quesadilla fan since they are usually dull and boring but I took a chance on this place and was blown away by the quality. They serve a huge portion, ingredients are fresh and the homemade tortilla is amazing. The people are lovely too. I’ve been several times now and have never had an issue.“
“We've driven by here a number of times but never stopped inside until this past Father's Day. What an absolute treat. Delicious Latin food that is flavorful but doesn't blow you away with spiciness, unless you want it that is. Louisa took great care of us and got us started with excellent chips and salsa and margaritas the size of small fish bowels. Great fajitas tacos and quesadillas too - and no complaints from the kids. Even the desserts were really good. We have severe gluten allergies in our family and no one felt ill.We're in the area every weekend and this will definitely be our go-to spot.Dietary restrictions: Good for those who are gluten-free.“
“Yum. Had a great Margarita - custom, just lime juice, no sour mixer....didn't have to be Patron, just good tequila. Since my first time here, tried the enchiladas- pollo, chorizo and carnitas. But I asked for 1/2 mole and 1/2 salsa verde and they accommodated.. All of it was very tasty. The mole was excellent and each enchilada was very nice flavor. Service was fast and polite. Atmosphere was nice, what I would call modern Latino versus traditional music. Got to watch the game too. Nice selection of tequila. I will be back. Can't wait to try the house specialities.“
