“Manor Hill is an absolute gem located in Old Ellicott City! The service is always amazing and the servers create a very welcoming environment. It's definitely a little louder of an environment so that's something to keep in mind. I could go on and on about the pizzas, they're definitely something everyone needs to try. “The vegan pizza here is incredible. I love that they now offer half pies, which are much more affordable and make more sense for one person. The cocktails are great quality as well. That said, we sat at the bar, and the service was not great. Our bartender clearly didn't care or want to be there. I asked if the vegan half pie was also part of the happy hour special, and he stood there for a moment and seemed to just decide on his own thst it wasn't. A few minutes later he returned and said thst it actually was. He seemed annoyed when we called for him (because he didn't check on us) and took a long time to make our drinks. All of that said I still recommend going there or getting it delivered. I didn't care thst much about the bad service and mostly found it amusing. The other servers seemed friendly, and I'll.assume this guy was having a rough day or something. “My husband and I had pizza and drinks at the bar. The pizza was awesome. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and my husband had a pepperoni pizza which was delicious. I had a cocktail that was super bland and practically flavored water in a copper cup. The bartender, a woman with a mullet and tattoos left much to be desired in the area of hospitality. She straight up looked like she did not want to be there or be bothered with patrons. I don’t expect a full blown conversation but as a service worker, it’s not okay to be short and nonchalant with patrons. This rubbed me the wrong way almost to the point that I was hesitant to order my food. Although the food and music were great, I highly doubt if I would dine inside again. Take out will be the next option for us.“

It was pretty busy and they didn't have a ton of wait staff so service was a little slow (she was busy the whole time, def not the waitress' fault) but very pleasant. The pizza was cooked well, not burnt, thin enough to not be overpowered by dough, but didn't disintegrate as soon as you pick it up. Will definitely be back.“

“I went here on 3/25/24. Was having a pretty rough night and all I wanted was a pizza after I got off work. All the pizza places that said they were open all night were not. This was the 4th one I visited and upon walking in a gentleman informed me that they were closed. So, upon walking out, the same gentleman asked me if I just wanted a pizza. He made me a small pepperoni, even after informing me that they were closed, cleaned, and packed up. The whole interaction made my night 10x better. The pizza was phenomenal as well. Thanks guys!“

“Another visit to the "mecca of pizza" in the city. My family and I went there last Saturday afternoon, on the spur of the moment. I got my usual, the two cheese 10" pizza and the girls shared a 10" white pizza (edited to include tomato sauce). Having been to Matthew's more than 20 times in the past 6+ years, the two cheese pie was not as flavorful as usual - maybe due to weather, timing, my taste... but it was good! The white pizza - with the caramelized onions - was SO DANG GOOD!! I'd go back now if I wasn't at work. Definitely will try that next time. And yes - Matthew's is as good as people say!“
