Tuna Cannoli..if you think you know tuna..I’m here to say NAW! This dish was whimsical and full of flavor. The tuna was fresh and prefect encased in a light cannoli shell..the sesame seeds tied the whole dish together for me perfectly. Beef tartare(my personal favorite) vibrant color and palate pleasing flavors! I like the addition of beets in place of the traditional capers. Even my one friend who hates beets agrees that it brought a great element to this dish. Oysters! Perfectly briny and chilled expertly the pink peppercorn granita was Everything! Entrees: I enjoyed the Agnolotti which was a fall themed plate of warm comfort food! The spiced squash and apple stuffed pasta was so flavorful..but just when you thought it couldn’t get better, BOOM! Brown butter sage sauce! Please do yourself a favor..make your reservation to enjoy this dish before it goes away..you won’t regret it. The risotto my friend enjoyed with the meatballs from the antipasti menu was creamy and honestly had me making my next reservation in my head so I could enjoy it all by myself! Saffron Brodo, Aged Parmesan, bring this dish home! He couldn’t stop raving about the meatballs and I know they must have been great because he didn’t share..lol My dear friend ordered the Panzotti featuring stuffed Duck and Foie Gras! All components of this dish worked together to create perfection! Wine list..well thought out and composed. When our initial choice was temporarily unavailable, cue Nick with a perfect recommendation for an alternative bottle! Chicken dishes at Outback, their sister restaurant, are $15 and here chicken dishes are now outrageous at $22-25 dollars for smaller portions. Spent more for soup and salad at dinner for 5 small shrimp than I would have paid for an excellent filet at Texas Roadhouse with a ton of leftovers. Used to be a favorite place of mine, but with gluten allergies and huge price increases these past 2 years find it difficult to frequent. Above average food for a chain at fine dining prices. “I wish I could give Vaccaro's 10 stars. It is one of the best Italian pastry shops in the country. I was in Baltimore for three days and went there every day. Their Napoleons are decadent. The cookies are prepared with wonderful flavors and choices. My fiancé loves the cookies with the sprinkles on them shaped as stars or hearts. I love the pine nut cookies . The Chocolate eClair is massive but amazing. I start by cutting it up and take a week to eat it. It is about 12 inches long. “My husband and I live in TN and called and spoke with John about an odd request to order some Sour Beef and Dumplings to get to his 104 year old great grandfather, who lives on the eastern shore by Ocean City, where there are no places with good sour beef and dumplings. John was an absolute delight to speak with and he was absolutely happy to help us out. We made arrangements that when one of his family members or employees went out that way for any vacations, they would drop it off to the house for us. Several weeks had gone by, but one day I had received a phone call from John saying that he was going to the beach the following week and would still be happy to prepare the food and drop them off for us. We were so pleased that he remembered and that it was still something that he was willing to do for complete strangers. After that, everything went as planned and not only did he drop them off, but he went inside and showed him how to put it all together. My husband's great grandfather was surprised and so happy, and he loved his food! We will forever appreciate the work this man has done to help our family with this odd request.
